Really been looking forwards to this plane, they fly over my parents place every now and then
It's nice that they added it, but I'd prefer the Viggen. I guess it will come sooner or later.

and man I agree, the fire effects are eyecandy for sure.
The way the guns light up the cockpit in sim if the guns are behind the cockpit is amazing

The new patch added in some very decent bloom effects for fires and also added longer range draw distances for fires and smoke
As a Swede i'm very proud of this little jet.
Looks much better than similar trainers of the era.
The Folland Gnat wasn’t bad looking either! They should add it at some point.

Im glad i can fly the aircraft i have worked on for the last 4-5 years.
Fun tip: the SK60 in game has rm9 engins but the cooling units and fusalage show that it sould have rm15 engines. So a SK60 W with rm9's.

@@CanadaKingracing there’s diffrent versions the JA37 means intercept, Attack! And the AJS means attack, intercept and recon! Im myself swedish and it can get confusing sometimes
@@AttiliusRex Indeed. And i want the JA version because it is the fastest, got a stronger engine then all other variants. And apparently a fair few other upgrades ontop of that. It's also the only variant with a fixed gun.
But ofcourse the multirole version would be welcome too.
Fun fact: if you touch down very carefully with the SK60, you can land with no gear and take no damage

Maybe the update allows all (or most) planes to do this, I've only tested this in the sk60 so far

Sk60 have a pathetic payload, its a light airframe.
A10 is a heavy airframe with a heavy payload.

part of the reason that the plane lacks built in weapons and armor is because this jet is a training aircraft, this jet was designed to be a practical test flight for new pilots

Step 1. Turn off auto repair and auto rearm.
Step 2. Don't fly top tier
Step 3. If you have a premium aircraft from an event, fly that especially if it's in the 4.3-6.0 area.
Step 4. If you don't have step 3, find an aircraft with a good SL multiplier that you enjoy flying and fly that.(this is for SL)
For RP: honestly, it's going to be a slog if you don't have premium because it effectively doubles your RP. If you can, fly the aircraft directly preceding what you're researching as it gives an RP multiplier for "effective" research
Honestly the german nashorn has earned me a ton of sl millions and millions
Number 1 thing is find a vehicle you enjoy playing.
Alternatively, force yourself to play the French Yak-3, it's fantastic value for money and earns 810% Lions with a premium account

But has a extended nose section. For cameras.
Saab 105Ö SE-DCX is also a good option for Swedish Attacker line.
Even more weapons/ordinance/combinations then 105XT. But slower top speed.

As a B57A Player who just grinded out all his Toptier Jets I have to say, facing the SK60 was fun.. I always got to bomb a base and then return safely, but whenever I saw any of them (once even a whole group who just took off) I love to act like Im a B57B and approach them from behind, apparently most dont know the color difference between the A and B to decide if it has weapons or not.. but the Energy they all bleed, sacrificing Altitude to avoid my 'guns' and then sacrifice their speed to get their guns on me (which never worked out cuz 950kmh... come on guys).. just hella fucking fun, in that one big group with SK60s and Me262 I managed to make 8/9 planes ruin their speed and gained altitude by acting like I intercept one after another, I literally could pass through in a straight line - apart from one, they ALL did a very energy costing and useless maneuver.. the last dude was going straight non stop even when I was 100m behind him, so I came up to him and ditched his rudder with my wing tip make him spin out. I will never forget that moment, tho I spun out too and lost 30k but that was definitely worth the fun
I fell in love with this from playing it, so much so that i plan to buy one in real life in the future from The Flygskolan (preferably a SK60D as it has 4 seats) importing to Australia will be expensive (as well as the plane)

My favorite jet used to be the vampire but this thing might become my new favorite
i love using its missiles, i practiced with aa 20 nords so hitting bombers from ranges exceeding 6 kilometers is always such a dopamine rush
Just bought it the premium version last night after testing it. Like you said, this vehicle ticks all the boxes. Fantastic armament, great agility and control despite that sometimes frustrating top speed (although I noticed it is easy to play with altitude a bit and get your speed into the 500s). Overall gorgeous plane. I had been hoping for a decent jet with side by side seating like this. Very fun in pilotage servers
In Sweden there are tons of these in museums both the 105 and the sk60 there are also tons of drakens like every where its so epic
The only thing that kills me with the early swedish jets is the repair cost for a new player to the jet scene its just unplayable, you die maybe 5 matches and you're down 70k lions
Bought an 8.7 usa jet pack on the birthday. A week later gaijin adds harrier at 9.3 then 9.7. Literally can’t play my usa jet anymore because I still go against half teams of British 9.7 harriers. I literally feel more cheated than when I bought anthem from EA.
I actually am right now training as aviation maintinance personell on this very type of aircraft right now, so good timing!

There likely won't be any Swedish helicopters as Sweden has never had helicopters arm with anything more than machine guns.

Yeah I've been trying to grind through the America tree with my A2D-1 and I haven't been able to kill one yet, and I've been killed 4 times by it.

30mms rounds are pretty large and carrying a large amount would be detrimental to the ballence of the aircraft
Cause this plane cant carry more its an armed jet trainer. Its not even designed to be a combat vehicle used to fight others at all.
Yup, it's a trainer, pretty small and basically powered by a pair of modified business-jet engines of only around 7kN dry thrust.
now that we have the Swedish A10, can we have an official A10 now? Or are they gonna give us a SU-28 Frogfoot instead
Why do people keep comparing this to the A10? The sk60 does not even have an internal gun. They dont even share the same purpose.

The SK60 have never ever used thrust reversers. The only plane in Swedish service that used that feature was the Viggen.
@@TheSuperKnug The thrust reverser on a SAAB 105 is located on the fusalage right behind the engines. It doesn't realy revers the flow but redirect it to the sides.

@@quarkedbutt8711 the rbo5a or whatever are proxy fuses, but I only recommend using them for fun. And if you do use them in a headon, aim above the enemy plane with the little circle thing.

honestly, the SK60 is too slow for 7.3, the only good thing is the gunpods. but if you want to take rockets then you are severely gimped with NO AA capabilities.

This has always confused me . Why do some people have a cross for a cross hair but some have a circle with a fit in the centre and I can't seem to find an option for it?
It should be in the settings, I forgot where. Look in the camera settings maybe?

well...this armament at its br is close to op as no other plane has the ability to use plane atgms up to 8.7.........and the cannons are basically defas/ adens which are overwhelming anyway.8.0/8.3 would be better

This plane is absolutely broken at 7.3 because I am constantly forced to fight it in my tiger cat, when the tigercat is from fucking 1943 and then this god awful jet from 1963 just comes and wipes it away from the battlefield like it's nothing. Yes I have killed them before but it's not exactly doable if they conscious of what they're doing or rather there are just like 60 of them in one match all going for you. I can't even play the Tigercat that I was so excited to unlock and play for the first time because of this absolutely trash heap of a plane. It needs to be moved up in BR or the Tigercat needs to be moved down

The SK60B is annoying as fuck to play against. Not uncommon to see more than half the enemy team in Sk60bs with airspawn. The airspawn for this plane ruins the balance at this br.
