Only issue?😂... The bedrooms are so badly implemented, u have to hunch down to go each time into the bedroom like tf is that? Naw how is that comfortable for your back or neck it's only ok for really short people... I don't think even a 5'9 can comfortably live there nope yuck
Nothing stopping one from switching out to a comfy couch 🛋️. We are building my granddaughter a tiny house and she wants a sunken lounge area and two lofts. And yes she will be on the tools. She has to work for it.
I love the downstairs area but I wouldn't want to walk through one bedroom to get to the other. And yes it does seem claustrophobic. I like the exterior.
@@lizzieb6311 I have seen one tiny home in Victoria (Port Fairy) with a roof that winds up, adding about a metre to the height when not actually moving. The wall panels (with inset windows) then fold down and lock into place, so the upper level is walkable, without the need to steal a footwell from the lower level. That one has a double height lounge (only one bedroom) so it has a truly spacious feel. It has a study/work area upstairs overlooking the living area. Its staircase winds down too, so it occupies no floorspace downstairs at all most of the time. The style is reclaimed industrial/steampunk. While I don’t usually like that style, that one has caught my imagination and I love it.
@@Alicia-ij6gt what a clever idea! Staying withi the height limits necessary for transport yet giving full space in the upper area. Very cool. Thank you for sharing!
This is the most beautiful tiny house that I really dislike. It’s claustrophobic, too narrow, the seat looks uncomfortable, everything looks cramped and btw, the lights are too bright. The cabinets etc look great and it’s very well decorated but I wouldn’t buy it. It would be like living in a corridor
🤣 I have to know… what drew you to viewing a tiny home? A reminder of what you DON’T want? Lol I found your comment amusing - thank you for a big smile.
Cute tiny house though I couldn't see myself living in it full-time, but as a vacation getaway yes! I like the bathroom, I think cabinet above the washer/dryer combo would be a good place to store towels etc.
definitely not the most comfortable layout, that couch downstairs looks incredibly uncomfortable and upstairs is just to cramped with that low ceiling. Long term i dont think it would be a great place to relax wit no decent seating.
Ive been saying for years a full 2nd floor all that open real estate is a waste what I would change is a 2nd stairway at the other end move bathroom down a few feet so you could enter bathroom from upstairs and living area and build on 30ft trailer add privacy door between 2 upstairs rooms otherwise EXCELLENT!!!!!!!!!!
I'm pretty short, barely 5 ft, so the size is not off putting for me. But I think crawling around in the bedrooms would be very hard as an older person.
I don't know about the split bedroom with no sound barrier or door. But my 5'3" body could easily feel ok in the upstairs. And yes, no bathroom storage except that small drawer? Tragic. Should have incorporated a medicine mirrored cabinet.
Super beautiful, but bloody expensive considering you can buy an old house with land for that price in the country. My biggest fear with tiny homes is the them, or the lack there of. Too many horror stories in Australia of people being forced out of their tiny homes because the don’t fit council or whatever building guidelines.
I love it, the only issue I would have to deal with is those nights when you gotta go to the loo, that’s a lot of walking when half asleep. But this sacrifice seems to maybe were a catheter
Very nice but not truly functional. Who wants two bedrooms in the loft? Where was the hot water tank, washer/dryer, electrical panel? This is not designed for a cold climate.
Like this video. Very nice layout of this tiny home. Unlike a lot of the ones I've seen, there's finally one that has a staircase, desk area, long sofa, and HVACs.
Nice and bright downstairs, however I would never put my fridge next to my cooker/oven. Bedroom height could be a problem and no privacy between the bedrooms especially if you have a child/ children!
@1:20, a hand rail. A lot of these tiny homes don't bother with one. @6:55, that is RIDCULOUS. The loft space should be redistributed to create a larger unit with servicable bedrooms.
Don’t people who live in tiny homes have sex? What good is a 2nd bedroom if there is no privacy? Doors? I adore tiny homes and would love to live in one, but I don’t like the lack of privacy in this one.
Could you also explain the sound dampening, insulation anf ventilation of these tiny homes. It seems nice these could be a nightmare to live in. Not to mention security issues if you are in a not so good neighborhood
Australian tiny homes usually come in 3 different widths: 2.5, 3 and 3.5 m. This is clearly a 2.5 m wide. 3.5 m wide homes are spectacular compared to shis one.
I would turn the desk area into a closet. I also bet there is storage under the bench. The design is quite nice. But there is a lack of multifunctional furniture except the staircase. The dining table for instance should be movable so it can move to the bench during dinner and you can sit more ppl
At first, 27 ft long didn't sound so bad for a tiny... But then I saw how narrow it was inside. And how crazy low the upstairs bedroom ceiling was. This might be good enough to be used as like a guest house or one-day Air BNB rental. But not good as a long-term home that you might want to spend the rest of your life in.
THE DESK AREA SHOULD BE LIGHTLY LONGER AND WITH 2 STOOLS. SO U CAN EAT THERE TOO. A TV STAND/FIREPLACE WHERE BAR IS NOW. TUB WOULD BE MADATORY. I AM 5'9 I WOULD HAVE TO BE ABLE TO FULLY STAND UP THE SHORT HEIGHT MAKING PEOPLE SLIGHTLY SLOUCHING FOR YEARS WILL DESTROY THE BACK.
This is a very pretty tinyhome and all that but the biggest issue is (and i mean the BIGGEST) how on earth am i gona change clothes comfortably in that house?? Bathroom is great but zero storage for clothes which couldve doubled as a closet too. So the "closet" is actually upstairs but with all that height disadvantage no way to put those pants on except laying down or sitting? Back pain.
Nice I guess but I've seen better. You can't lounge on that couch and I dont like that built in desk. It's dangerous to have a large glass window right at the bottom of the stairs. I consider that poor design with failed attention to safety. Nice bathroom. No space is that functional or comfortable if you can't stand up in (even if you are 6'4") so I'm not into the second floor, plus the filming actually made it look cramped and just tight. I wouldn't live in this space.
I can't think of the last time I used more than two burners at once. And I don't know if that's typical, but it feels typical. It seems that the four-burner setup is just to get more space for when you're dealing with large-diameter cookware. Anyway, to get to the point: I think two burners is plenty -- as long as there's enough space between them.
Whoa, there’s two bedrooms in this place?! That’s amazing. I couldn’t see a family of four living here but it’s nice to have the extra bed for a guest.
That feels so claustrophobic to me. Personally I think having full standing areas adjacent to second level beds alleviates that feeling, as well, wooden box couches look incredibly uncomfortable and therefore feel like a colossal waste of space, even if they have storage in them. Just my opinion.
The seat at the desk is too low and the stools in the dining area are too high 😅. Couldn't they raise the roof upstairs? I'm not crazy tall but I might have friends who are or my kids could be, would also limit resale ability down the line, weird choice. Downstairs is very well design, I don't need a dishwasher so washing machine would go there to create storage space in bathroom. Also a mirror cabinet instead of just a mirror there too. I feel weird about bathroom opening directly into the kitchen though 🤔🤨😐😑😶
The kitchen is essentially useless. There is footprint enough to hold a proper refrigerator and range. A 2 burner hot plate does not cut it. Nor does having dinner seating for 2. Having a window partially over the hob is stupidity at its worst. Good luck keeping that clean. With bed space for 5, assuming the sofa does not open, dining space for 6 would be good. Also, msin entrance at one end with stairs taking up the end wall means access to one of the bedrooms is going to be compromised. Put the front door and staircase in the middle. Separaton between bedrooms is important plus, the staircase can provide needed wall space to enhance storage in the kitchen.
To me this looks like a person buying a studio apartment that is really not a part of an apartment building. Whether I am wealthy or middle class I would not spend my money on something like this. It would be crowed and I would feel very uncomfortable.
For such a tiny home, I wouldn't need a second bedroom. It's tiny enough for two people, can't imagine inviting more people to stay with us. Wished the ceiling was a little higher in the bedroom.
Downstairs ok. Upstairs a turn off. To get to second bedroom you have to crawl a long way. Also I don’t think you can sit up in bed. Anyone sleeping in second bedroom has little privacy. And if one needs to go to the loo in the middle of the night that is a long crawl and then still having to travel the full length of the downstairs space. The seating area is a passageway to the kitchen and bathroom and has only a bench rather than a snuggly sofa. Having the door at one end does not work. There was some hope when I saw the bathroom with what I thought was a door to outside but it is only a pane of glass. Huge missed opportunity here for a door.
The drawer on the top of the stairs goes right under the Minisplit which to me is kinda odd but otherwise, this is really cute!

Dishwasher are good to conserve water, it is easy to hand-wash dishes, but that do often waste more water than a dishwasher do, and if you can fill it up fully before you use it you will even save more water, so large take up space but is good for environment and if you do not get "free" water or neet to have a own tank.
To bad they didn’t show off the exterior. Would like to know what it looks like on the outside. And how about sharing the size of the tiny home, length and width.
I am truly impressed, although a few more feet of height on the second floor would not be amiss, and there should be a door between the first and second bedrooms.
I am not a fan of the loft idea in tiny homes - if you have to go to the powder room at night or anytime actually all that bent over not being able to stand business is just misery making to me.

No, $ 155.000 Thousand dollars is not acceptable for a house like this. They were created to be cheap, this is wrong!!
$155,000 is already one hundred fifty five thousand but you made it say one hundred fifty five thousand thousand. Why is that?

My only issue with these tiny homes is that the sofas don’t look very comfortable.
Neither do these “desk” areas with a low square bench to sit on, obviously none of the designers have ever worked from home on a permanent basis.

It seems that the Australian and New Zealand builds are constructed much more wisely when it comes to utilizing space…
I think that in New Zealand and Australia, tiny homes can be 14 feet high. I think that extra 6 inches makes a difference.
