Right after settling in and concluding my pre-induction tasks, I still had around 2 or 3 days before induction training commenced. I couldn’t exactly remember how many days there were, but at least it was a sufficent amount of time to explore and get to know my new home a bit better. I had visited Hong Kong several times before in 2013, 2017, and 2019. However, the Pearl of the Orient (東方之珠) never ceases to amaze me every time I am here.

Just be careful when you cross the traffic light because those cars will crash the people and the driver may blame you get them into trouble. So I dont want to comeback there or just prefer to stay indoor

I'm planning on joing cathay in the future and I speak cantonese as its my native language but I'm not a professional speaker as I'm raised in New zealand so if I was to Join cathay, would I need to learn better cantonese or is casual canton okay. But love your vlogs thank you! 💕
@@Caleb-uk1bo referring to the current basic requirements, as long as you are able to converse in English and at least another Asian language, that’s all that matters. Good luck with your endeavor!
Hong Kong is stunning. Is it similar with Singapore? In terms of lifestyle etc?
@@allanm9678 I can say it’s similar. However, I prefer HK because it’s chilly in winter.

@@istihandadelvis6558 congratulations! In my case, I received hotel meal vouchers-covering breakfast, lunch, and dinner-for the period of stay before induction training Day 1.

How you manage your jet lag 🤕😵💫?
eat right, exercise, and sleep well (whenever possible 🥲).
I think u can get permanent residency after 7 years working with CX
