Guys, if you really have 48 hours in Hong Kong, this is great guide to follow! A good balance between famous tourist spots and off-the-grid spots! Thanks for coming, Phoebe! - From a Hong Kong citizen
Thank you SO much!! That means the world :)
By the way, Hong Kong has over 200 islands and I highly recommend going to the Peak at night, to see the gems of Hong Kong light up.
Thanks for watching!
That is so true! Over 300 islands I believe and I've only visited a few.
The camera just loves you. You always look good
You’re so kind, thank you 🙏🏼
Hong Kong is still on my bucket list. I hope to travel there this year or next!
I think you’ll love it! It’s so beautiful
I can’t stop laughing when the wind blew your hair everywhere at the peak 😂 Great snapshots of the places you visited!
Wan chai was the area I grown up ,good memories here! This is the area where most wealthy population lives
Your vlog takes me back to my trip to HK 5 years ago....oh I miss it so...I loved it there!
Love your upbeat, cheerful and high quality background music, on top of your excellent editing.
Thank you SO much :)
Good video Phoebe.
Just a couple of things Kowloon is a peninsula, not an island.
The first egg tart you tried is a Portuguese egg tart (pastel de nata). The second one you tried was the Hong Kong egg tart (daan tat).
Thanks for watching!
Amazing video with great quality that I hope I would know this channel earlier. Anyway, I have been studying and working in Australia for a few years and this video brings up good memories of the food and place in Hong Kong !
My god your chaotic eating certainly had me in stitches. I can relate! Sometimes I've been in so much "chaos" it's like a toddler trying to eat in a wind tunnel.... 😂 also feel the hair drama... long hair problems 😅
😂🙏🏼 so relieved you enjoyed the chaos
Brought back great memories of our week there in 2017. We stayed in the heart of Mongkok and ate our way around. We found the bird market a bit odd as a tourist desto. Elderly men with their caged pet birds gathering for a chat and a smoke while hanging the birds on hooks. We felt quite intrusive so didn't stay more than a few minutes, The flower market though was amaaazing.
Thanks as always for capturing the places you visit so wonderfully
I’m sooo glad this brought back memories! A week is a great length of time to spend there. Sounds like you did it right ☺️

Thank you so much for your vlog, loved it! Traveling to Hongkong in May so excited 😃🥰😍
How was your trip ?
@@machaimiloais It was amazing. Tried the Waffle and the Egg tart in the video, loved it! Unfortunately I was during the worst rainy season there but I love the rain season in Asia. The one thing I missed was the Peak, I could not see anything when I went with the tram because of the weather. But Hongkong as we all know has a lot of food to offer and I explored all the local restaurantsand included a Macao trip with the Ferry which I can really recommend!
Great video! I really look forward to seeing the city later this year 😎
Thanks for watching!
Thank you. It is so helpful for my upcoming trip to Hong Kong in this September :)
Beautifully done as always ❤
First comment gets five stars: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Hong Kong looks like it was a beautiful trip!
It was fantastic!!
So fun to watch! I grew up there in the 1960s. Have been able to go back for a visit several times, but the last trip 2019 made me feel a bit sad at so many iconic places have vanished.
Hiya! The views up there are beautiful and I love the way your hair floats on the wind. Hong Kong seems to be a real busy city, how did you experience it? Didn't you feel a little overloaded? The scenery is gorgeous, some Asian countries (Singapore, Hong Kong, South Korea, Japan) are making the most of every wall in terms of art. Cruise with lunch is the best. The birds and flowers look so peaceful. That eggplant looks so amazing. Thanks for sharing your Hong Kong guide, see you in Bohol 🤙
I envy that you found your way to enjoying the local cultures. Great job.
@nickwilltravel brought me here.... Wow Hong Kong is beautiful.... Feels like we're right there with you .. ❤❤❤❤
🥹♥️🇭🇰 thank you so much!
Hong Kong is not that beautiful
Really enjoying all your videos! I travelled to Singapore with my daughter this year and next year we are going to Hong Kong. Will watch the Japan collection you have soon as that will be our next destination. Thanks for the great content!
Great vlog! Can you make a video about how you budget for these trips/tips to save for them?
Hi Phoebe, you stopped by one of my favorite cities in Asia. I’ve been to Hong Kong 🇭🇰 9 times! 😂. I love it there. The food, sites and people are amazing. I’m also a big fan of HK cinema. I was last there in 2017. Anyway, I enjoyed your 48 hour excursion and saw a lot of familiar places. Even though it was super windy, you still looked great. You are one of the most photogenic UA-cam influencers I’ve ever watched 😍. Have a great week and looking forward to the next one.
Thank you sooo much for the love on this video. Hong Kong is such a beautiful city to film - I found it so inspiring! Glad to hear how much you love it too. Totally agree it’s one of the best cities in Asia!
Thanks for your coming
I love a market! Hong Kong looks fascinating. I loved the "chaotic" stuff too - it made for a great watch. Brilliant again!
Hahaha I’m relieved you enjoyed the chaos! That wind was a LOT to contend with 😂 I love a market too 🙏🏼
Loved this video of Hong Kong. I have never been so was great to get your perspective. Fantastic production as always!
Ps you are not just a great traveler now, you are a seriously good content creator.. well done 😃
Oh Ben 🥹🙏🏼 that means so much to me. Thank you for saying that
Hey luv i lived in HK for 10 years this video brings back great memories i miss it 😍lookin fab too
I just discovered your channel and loving every vlog!
Yay! Thank you!🙏🏼
Hong Kong gets slept on when it comes to travel destinations. It’s such a vibrant city with so much to see, do, and eat!
I hope you enjoyed your stay in Hong Kong.
Your video is beautiful, and so are you.
I haven't been to HK in a while...now I'm imaging taking the Star Ferry to that Bakehouse cafe 😍
As for that windy ferry dim sum Mukbang, I think you may have created a genre 😄
Great one! Thank you! Makes me want to go back to HK 😊 funny but I did stay in the same hotel few years ago and it looked the same 😄 I would add - bedsheets felt really damp.
Best wishes from The Netherlands and happy travels!
That’s so funny you stayed there too!!!
First time encountering your channel. Great video!!! I'll now embark on a mini binge, with the expectation informative, entertaining content. If it lacks some manner of tragedy, such as hurricane force winds, octopus hair, or something in that realm, I will deduct points. I definitely appreciate that fact that you avoided the usual tourist magnets. Thank you!!
So glad you found the channel! Welcome 🥰🙏🏼
Thanks for the 1st great impression and inspiration! I booked my 1st solo trip to H.K. momentarily ago, you popped out as my 1st research video. I feel confident already. Gonna be there 3rd - 10th July. This is a great guide vlog. Love from Singapore! 😊
Hello. Thank you for sharing your travels. I have just found your channel. I love it when I find an Aussie traveller. It is really good to have things shared in Australian dollars etc.
Hey Phoebe
My sister actually lives in Hong Kong so we visit quite often, it is such a nice place
I absolutely love Hong Kong. Thank you for sharing some amazing tips, eats and places to see and do
So glad you liked the tips 🥰 Hong Kong is so beautiful to film! ♥️🇭🇰
Kowloon is a peninsula, not an island coz it is connected with New Territories n China , Hong Kong Island was given to Britain as colony during war, n the Kowloon n New Territories was rented n needs to retain in 1997,by 1997 the whole 3 places were returned to China
Super video. Wonderful to see HongKong with you.
I have been in Hong Kong numerous times as a stopover. I remembered back in 2011 when I got off a QF flight from Perth to Hong Kong and was able to get a glimpse of the skyline well.
Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the vids!! Just found you as I was searching for research for my upcoming Singapore / KL / HK trip in May, wish I'd have found sooner! Keep them coming :)
Thank you! So glad you found the channel in time for your trip ☺️🙏🏼
Why are you including KL and not Vietnam?
Hong Kong looks amazing!!! So keen to do an extended stopover maybe
That’s a great way to do it!!
Thankyou for this video, you've given me some tips and suggestions for my trip soon.
thank you for your tips. makes me much more confident for my first time to hk!
The chaos of you trying to eat on the dim sum cruise 😂 priceless haha!
😂😂😂 I died laughing when I was editing it and I saw the rice fly off the spoon like that hahaha absolute chaos!!
@@travelforphoebe it was a great cinematic shot!! 😂
Hong Kong is always food and fun. We enjoy it. Hope Phoebe , you had fun too. Love the music ❤ Where do find the music? So good, works so well with the video. Sending you much love ❤
from Harriet, Jim and Yuki. P.S. managed to order a mug from the store from my phone. Apparently, you can't do from a desktop or I-Pad . Just want to let you know. Be Well Phoebe!
So glad you enjoyed this one! I have subscriptions to Audiio and Epidemic Sound for music 🙏🏼
Been 10 years since i visited HK. Thanks for virtually showing me one of my favourite cities. Do not miss roasted goose. I was addicted to it after eating in hk for the first time
Thanks for watching 🙏🏼
Very informative, Phoebe. Thanks for sharing.
3:35 I also don't like "eggy" desserts, so that's why I enjoy egg tarts from Macau the most. They are caramelized on top, which provides a nice bitterness to counteract the egginess. I also like the use of puff pastry
Yesssss!! So glad you can relate!!
Hi! Phoebe 👋🏻👋🏻👋🏻 Thank You for sharing another interesting, informative and inspirational vlog of your adventure in Hong Kong. You look so gorgeous and cute in the windy weather😀. Hope you had a good time. Stay safe and take care ❤️🥂
Thank you so much 🥰🙏🏼
@@travelforphoebe You are most welcome! Looking forward to your next vlog❤️
Great video! Its surprising you never tried Egg Tarts in Singapore or any Chinatown Bakeries. They are pretty famous mini-custard pies, and are also sold as desserts at Dim Sum restaurants.
Welp…this is all *your* fault! After watching your video, I am now typing from our favorite dim sum restaurant here in Orlando as we wait for our order. Happily, it’s less windy here 😂, so I don’t fear my fried rice will blow all over our neighbor! I’m so glad you left all that in. It’s so genuine and we don’t think we’ve laughed that much with you. 😂😂
Thanks also for the honest review of the hotel. I like how you addressed it: here’s the good and here’s the not good. Your honesty is why we trust you. Same goes for the egg custard. Glad you tried them (first one looked SO much better) and explained why you didn’t like the second one. Erin commented that your music selections, which are always good, were especially good on this video. As always, big fan of your b-roll shots overlayed with your info filled commentary. It’s what sets you apart.
Phoebe-you’ve come so far. You’re no longer nervous while vlogging in crowds. It’s now natural and makes us feel like we’re talking with a friend. Glad to hear you’ve noticed too. You’re right: you are now a more experienced and savvy traveler and that comes through in your videos as well!
Thanks for taking us along with you to Hong Kong. It’s a place we’d like to visit and now we have an idea of what to expect. Hope to hit HK Disneyland one day.
Looking forward to next week’s adventures! Safe travels and see you again soon.
Rob&Erin
PS: I love egg waffles. Your guess was right, they are named so because of the shape. And you’re also right that they can be a bit dry. Need a sauce or ice cream sometimes. We spent a bit of time drooling on the menu (we paused that frame). The hazelnut “sandwiches” looked amazing. 🤤
Another awesome vlog ❤
Thank you so much 🇭🇰🙏🏼
Stumbled on your video, wow really enjoyed it. I live between Sydney and HK. When in Oz, I miss HK food and in HK I miss the fresh air and vast space of Oz.
One correction HK is an island, Kowloon is a peninsula not an island. Again love your video, thank you.
Thanks for watching! 🥰🙌🏻
Just love this episode!❤
🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰 thank you!
Great coverage of HK. Love your hair look.
Thanks for watching!
Another great video, Phoebe. Hong Kong used to be a venue for some of the James Bond movies. I bet this is a fun place to visit.
Oh wow! I didn’t know that 🥰🙏🏼
I may be going to HK later this year again. Was thinking what else I can explore, so thanks for the ideas. Awesome that you tried the authentic shops. Word of warning about the street hawkers at Mong Kok. Food is a bit hit and miss and can be unsanitary. Oh, and thanks for taking one for the team with the egg tarts! First one looked delish!
So glad you got some helpful tips for your trip outta this episode!! I hope you get to visit HK again soon :)
Phoebe,Congratulations to you for your new remarkable video this gone weekend to heads Hong Kong, China to shows these amazing places & Landmarks in great joy March of 2024❤❤❤
Great video, thanks from Canada!
Wow, I was under the impression that Hong Kong was extremely expensive. I was pleasantly surprised that its cheap. That has just gone on to the bucket list. Can't wait to see where u end up in next week's episode.
I found it very affordable! 🥰
@travelforphoebe all throughout ur vid, I was the money exchange, seeing what the prices were in AUD. And couldn't believe it. Obviously, u can go there and spend heaps and stay in the best hotels, but where u stayed, looked nice, although a but run down. But it looked clean.
It really depends on your tastes and the specific area. There’s something for everybody in Hong Kong!
Your music choice made me get up and dance with my kids!
hahaha oh my gosh! THANK YOU! This comment made my day :)
Great vid. The flying hair was the highlight
😂😂😂😂 for you and the 20 stunned tourists laughing at me while I filmed it
Eat, love, pray, the movie
Omg, u been to Italy (eat), India (pray inner peace), and Bali (love)
You are in your ELP movie😅
I love ur videos! I live in Hong Kong!🇭🇰 I can totally agree with u❤️
Thanks for watching!
Strongly recommend to Shenzhen next to Hongkong, or China mainland. You will experience totally different cultures
New territories also have many things you can explore~~
Phoebe, Thanks you so much for heading Hong Kong, China to shows these amazing places & Landmarks in great joy & peace March of 2024❤❤❤

Just Excellent, really enjoyed, much love from India ❤❤❤
Thanks for watching!
GORGEOUS!!
Kowloon is not an island! It is part of the Asia continent. Apart from Hong Kong Island, there is also another bigger Lantao Island where the Hong Kong International Airport is situated.
Phoebe,Thanks you so much for your new remarkable video this gone weekend to shows this amazing city of Hong Kong, China in March of 2024❤❤❤I wish you ALL the Best in peace 2024❤❤❤
Yayyyy I am Going in may and can’t wait. Could you check on the boat cruise link again? I think you put the peak tram link in there 😅 thanks so much for this cool video!
Thank you SO much for telling me about the link - you're an angel :) Should be all fixed now! P xx
I'm learning to like eggs (in general) more, but the idea of them in a dessert was 🤢 to me. Then I tried egg tarts!! I was obsessed. Now I'm on the search for the best one!
Welcome to HK, If you spend one more day. You better go to Lamma Island (a beautiful offshore island in HK)
Great vlog. We’re visiting in October with children. What was the travel time between each destination you showed please?
Haha, you look like eating in the space, foods are not floating but flying. Funny to see your hair flying. We still have many things to explore here. Immediately subscribed your channel. You know, most girls do not use the messy octopus hair look in the youtube. You are different and funny. 😁😆
Thanks for watching ☺️🙌🏻
JOMO = Joy Of Missing Out ..!
Applies on the egg tart 😊😊
☺️🙏🏼 yes!
Great video as alway Phoebe and keep up the good work. Those egg tarts though were more like da nata? Did you try the traditional Chinese egg tarts, you might not have liked those if not a fan of eggy stuff 😂
Not sure if you watched all the way through but I did try the traditional ones later in the episode and did not like them 😂
Haha yes I posted just before then and did see you fighting the wind while elegantly chopping on the food 🤩🤩🤩
Thankyou It looks like a great place to visit at least politically it’s settled down for now.😊
I loved it! 🙏🏼🥰
Absolutely Love Egg Tarts. Absolutely Love Dumplings. Yum Dim Sum. Yes Extremely Windy, Yes I Laughed With You When Food Flew Out Of Your Mouth. Outstanding All Around
😂 that fried rice went everywhere!
Will you also be checking out the New Territories and Shenzhen?
love it. what camera are you using? it's very niiiiice!!!
From INDIA i am watching your video sister.I have already subscribe your chennel because of to see new destination.so, keep visiting new place & explore.(safe travelling & stay happy )

Wash the tart down with Hong Kong style milk tea highly recommended.
Thanks for watching! 🙏🏼✨
6:17 Sorry i can't helping laughing when looking at your hair 🤣
Wow nise travel to Hongkong 👍💖🎉🎉🎉
Thanks for visiting
This really amazing
Thank you 🙏🏼
Best part was the octopus pos3 .
i guess now they have 144 hour policy to go to mainland
Great vid!
Can i ask, what is your setup? How do you record?
When I went to Victoria Peak, it was similar weather. 😅
Did you make it to Lantau Island to see the Po Lin Monastery? Apparently it's a great view. I say apparently because it was foggy and raining when I got there. So I couldn't see a thing. It did make for some atmospheric photos of the statues though. And the 268 steps to the top was a work out. 😫
Haha not this time! I’ll have to do that and HK Disneyland next time 🥰
Hi Phoebe. Lovely to see your video.
I was watching it while waiting for Andrei (master chief) on your comments.
To return from work.
We have hopes to go to Japan 🗾.
It's Andreis birthday tomorrow.
But I love watching all your UA-cam videos.
You add sunshine to a very grey Queensland day.
Thanks my dear .
Keep up the great work.
Look beautiful all spots you are going l think so pictures have very fine and clear this is good watch yes that make interesting to injoy also help under stand a lot while in this the world is splendid beautiful thanks.
Thank you so much! 🥰🙏🏼
NEW SUBSCRIBER.. beautiful place .. great
For someone like myself who is disabled and needs a mobility scooter to get around, it can be challenging to get to places. 1:10, instead of stairs, is there a ramp to use to take the Star ferry? Also, how would one get through the turn style gates (1:48) to enter the ferry? 6:46, is there an elevator vs. escalator to use at the Peak Tram? 16:10, is there an elevator to go down on the MTR?
I wish I could answer this for you but the truth is I was so focused on filming, I wasn’t thinking of the location from an accessibility standpoint. I’m wondering if there may be creators who specialise in this type of insight! If not, sounds like there could be a gap there for someone to fill 🥰
@@travelforphoebe OK, I understand. If you ever go back to Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan or Singapore, will you please be mindful of this? Just whenever you are shooting, can you please also put into your camera frame a ramp if you happen to see one when walking to stairways? Thank you!
