My name is Hebron, and I am a flight attendant with Cathay Pacific. 🇭🇰
[Part 1] Ciao Bello! Summer in Italy: Milan & Venice 🇮🇹 | Cathay Pacific cabin crew vlog - EN
Buongiorno a tutti.
After graduating uni many years ago, I secured a temporary fresher post at the trade promotion office of the Italian Embassy in Jakarta, Indonesia. I had always eagerly anticipated a business travel to Italy, but, of course, it never happened. Now, after waiting for too long, I am ultimately setting my feet in Italy.
Frankly speaking, I initially bid for the competitive FRA, but was granted MXP instead. I am still grateful for that. My duty was a 6-day pattern. Because the layover was long enough, I had also reserved a train ticket to Venice. Just like Edinburgh, I Ieft for Venice on the second day.
The reason why I split this vlog into 2 parts is that I do not want you to waste your time by watching a long video. I will upload Part 2 next week. Thank you for watching, liking, and sharing my videos, as well as subscribing to my channel.
Attenzione borseggiatrici, attenzione pickpocket!
Molto grazie. Arrivederci.

Melbourne’s Coldest Day in Five Years: a 23-Hour Layover 🇦🇺 | Cathay Pacific cabin crew vlog - EN

Yes, you just read the title right. I did not deliberately exaggerate when I jotted that down. I arrived in Melbourne on the 12th of June 2024. Because the layover was painfully short, I decided to maximize it by going out early in the following day (June 13, 2024). Compared to Sydney, the unusual cold bothered me a bit. I understand I cannot compare Sydney’s winter to that of Melbourne. Howeve...

Happy Mid-Autumn Festival! I hope you can rearrange your calorie intake really well after all those delectable mooncakes. Surabaya is the second largest city in Indonesia, after the capital city of Jakarta. It serves as a crucial financial, commercial, industrial, transportation, as well as entertainment hub. I personally reckon that is why the slang term and the lifestyle of "Crazy Rich Suraba...

Before flying as a cabin crew, I traveled quite a lot. I salted my money away and particularly hurtled abroad in either autumn or winter to escape the fierce year-long heat of Jakarta. Little did you know that I had actually planned to visit Sydney, specifically in June/July 2020 because they are reckoned to be the peak winter months in Australia. However, the Rona took on the world and leisure...

My first long haul flight was Manchester. I was on the shuttle bus bound for Cathay City to attend service training when my roster revealed I would have a 6-day MAN in May 2024. I jumped for joy. I also made my way to Edinburgh, a magnificent city that once was too far for me to reach. If I were to choose between Manchester and Edinburgh, I would choose none. I would pick Sydney, Australia inst...

Hello, guys. It's Hebron. If that is too difficult to pronounce, just "HK" can do! 😌 My intention of creating this channel is basically to keep my whole cabin crew journey well-recorded, so that one day, when I am old and retired, I will find it possible to reminisce about the best days of my life. On the other hand, I aim to provide a bird's eye view of what it's like to be a flight attendant ...
Hebron, your videos are great. I’m happy you can travel like this…enjoy 😊

I guess you landed at Gate 18 or Gate 20 in Melbourne Airport. The farthest gate hahaha
not sure about that. 😂
👍Thanks for sharing another excellent layover vlog. At first glance, I thought you were the male FA in the new CX safety video.
@@yobklim how I wish I looked like him! 😂
Very nice dear Hebron, remember me on years ago in Australien. I love Winter too. You make the best in your layover.. happy landings kai. And greetx from autumn FRA
thank you!
Another great vlog! Well, I'm a Sydney boy, but I also loved Melbourne also, the coffee and the culture! Melbourne does get colder in winter compared to Sydney, but strangely Melbourne can have a hotter summer compared to Sydney! I have a friend who was CX cabin crew, and he always stated that the hotel you stay at in Melbourne is one of the best you stay in throughout the world. If you love winter, try and get a flight to Christchurch in New Zealand, lovely cold winters there! Keep up the great work!
thank you!
Woww, thanks for sharing!

Hebron…I enjoy your videos. I am a Christian as well but Buddhism has many dogmas that can be easily followed in every day life. That makes it special. It has been about 10 years since I have been to Mel and Syd. I like Sydney better. Just my preference. Fly safe, maybe some day you can get a layover in lax or sfo. I live in San Diego, last city before you get to the Mexico border. Take care, Tom
@@tombarb2864 I flew to LAX-vlog coming soon. SFO is no. 1 on my wish list as well. Thank you for watching and your kind words.

Would be good if you use Traditional Chinese characters if you said Mid-Autumn festival in HK. You used the simplified one, that’s not HKer using.

How many hours of layover it was? And does cathay provide veg food on flights for their employees who are vegan ir vegetarian??

So you worked for 8 years on your previous job. How old are you if I may ask? Because usually the airline recruited flight attendant at such young age. Anyway, that indonesian snack package ASMR makes me want some.
Exactly how old do you think I am? 😁
@@hebronkei 23 - 25 perhaps, idk lol 😆
@@allanm9678 oh, that’s too nice. 😂
@@hebronkei then I guess we're probably around the same age because I do too just switched careers after 7 years worked for the old job that I had. People asked me why I needed to switch careers at my current age. But they don't know that my new job offers better work environment and benefits (ofc I chose the better one!!). It is true that I have to start from the bottom but, each person has their own personal journey to success, you really can't compare yourself to others. Sorry for the essay tho, lol. It is easier for me to talk to strangers.
Just a minor advice, you can add a darker background to your narrative caption or subtitles in a video so wen can read it easily. Its quite hard to read it when the video turn bright since you use a white font on it. Cheers and keep up the good work 👌
Thank you for the feedback! ☺ Moving forward, I will implement better techniques to grapple with it.
Nice video! CX779 from another PoV
thank you!
I have watched few of your videos and enjoyed it a lot although there is only subtitles but it is so soothing to watch.. Please incorporate more inflight videos like this, its a lot of fun. Btw, what is the purpose of line manager? Is it like a cabin manager handling over few other junior crew in certain batch below them or something?
Thank you! At Cathay Pacific, we don't call it the "line manager," though. I chose that term because it's universally comprehensible. However, such roles do exist. They work on ground; and their main duties include overseeing cabin crew performance and providing supports to cabin crew.
Oh I see. So basically they are like a homeroom teacher. Got it, thanks for the info.
