I think my nostalgia isn't healthy anymore. 2014 is in my head all the time. I think that I lived for this year only and all the other years are just years before and after 2014. Feels like 2014 is the main year of my life and its pretty sad but brutally beautiful at the same time. That's nostalgia. It's like a siren, lying to you telling you it was better than it ever even was. And I can't do anything about it.
And one song always triggers this 2014 emotions inside of me. It's a song also from Banks. It's called change. When I listen to this song I feel sunlight and water and just smell the air of 2014. 2014 is like a lost fairy tale in a parallel dream universe. But it all actually happened. There was magic in the air and am I the only one who noticed it?
I sang pretty when you cry when I was under the shower. I put some potato slices on my bread. My grandmother used to listen to this brazil music and my dreams where weird and beautiful. I went to a new school and fell in love. Everything was beautiful in the mess of my life. I love the universe and am thankful for this experience. Thank you Banks. Your music let's me rewind it. Your music let's me stuck in 2014.
