From a production standpoint, most songs feel pretty skeletal with nothing interesting really going on minus a few exceptions. Again, I like the record, I just expected more from her out of this one.

It almost doesn't have filler songs, I'll definitely get rid of If We Were Made Of Water (cool idea, bad delivery) and Propaganda, but that's just my taste. I don't think it's the most revolutionary album, but she stepped out of her comfort zone a lot, while still sounding true to herself. Sure Contaminated, Godless and Stroke could be on The Altar and no one would notice, but Hawaiian Mazes, Sawzall, Till Now, Alaska... damn, what a journey with those ones.
