If I can share something that goes beyond romantic love, I lost my mum while still a teenager. My parents were already divorced and I have no siblings, so at that time it was just the two of us at home. We thought mums are made of iron, so when she died I guess deep down I felt the extreme solitude of being Godless. This song brought that feeling back to me and I’m thankful for revisiting that as an adult. Thanks a lot, Banks.
