- Today I take a look at the @WorldofTanksModernArmor (WoT Console) Warhammer 40k, Cold War tank, the Ignis Purgatio, aka the Bat Chat 25t.
The Ignis Purgatio comes with a primary, 20 round auto loader and a secondary ATGM launcher. Despite the stats, this is a capable tank but it will require you to have your wits about you. This tank is not for the inexperienced.

Played it twice, MVP Once and then wiped out in about 2 mins. Seems like it will be fun though
WG's stream mentioned that its a 90mm gun on the Ignis (IIRC)... this thing honestly looks like its ALOT of fun if you dont get blasted in the first 5 minutes of a match, lol

14 battles, 57%WR, 4600 average, 2.38 k/d ratio. NO PREM AMMO USED.
However It’s necessary to pay attention what’s going around you every second in the battle. As same as your weapons reload. It’s 100% skill based tank. Despite im average player i still grab a lot of fun. Even with no prem ammo.
I think the Ignis works best, if you play together with 2 clanmates and keep together, and then attack in a swarm. Circling around chainless enemies works very good as well, you should keep moving all the time anyways with it. Really love that tank, it´s no beginner tank as you already said, but when played right, it´s a monster.
OR.... we could all just play BMP2's for the same effect and wait for WG to roll out the French CW line which I'm betting will include a vanilla skinned bat chat now they've done the legwork on this tank model? 👍😀
Talking about AtGM's found out the hard way last night, Merkava 1 had missiles 🤣 yup my turret went flying. lol

Lol. All three Merkava tanks have missiles. It's the only nato MBT that can fire missiles in game.
Yeah the Merkava MK1 and 2 get ATGM as premium rounds while the MK3 gets it as it's 3rd ammo type with the upgraded gun.
@@WithyBog Merkava aren't under NATO, their part of the independents which is specifically supposed to be tanks from nations that didn't take either sides in the cold war.
Only western MBT that can fire ATGM is the MBT70.
I got a merkava 1, just not upgraded or noticed it had atgm's

You can get this tank for 30% off with the OP. Cost you 8k gold, which is really low for an Era 2 medium. Put deadeye on commander. Also why are you using a regular med kit? Gold is only 7k extra silver and gives you a better passive boost.

Worst ATGM goes to Object 934. You can literally carry the rocket to the enemy tank and it would hit faster rather than shooting it.
As balanced as they are individually they are disgusting when in a group. They absolutely wreck any push when organised and are a pain to deal with. Though if you separate them then it becomes much more manageable

Glad I play PC now. More toy town tanks. If you want to play warhammer, GI joe, hotwheels etc keep it out of a tank game.
If you want realism you probably shouldn't have played the tank equivalent of CoD to begin with. Better than another centurion re-skin
Go play warthunder for more realism, turn off player skins

If I can unlock thw 30% discount on the Ignis Purgatio then I'm comfortable with spending the 8k gold, but if I can't then I'll have gold for the next ultimate season pass Cold War tank.
Just wondering why the hull patch(100health) and not the rations (10% everything on your tank)
Would the rations not improve your reload (20sec?) And improve vision plus everything else on the tank by 10%. So making it easier to play tank
Yea, hull patch is useless unless you’re a heavy. The health it gives you is minuscule. The smoke would potentially save you from losing more hp and giving some kind of cover if used correctly and is far better. In Cold War I’d take smoke over rations but it depends on your play style and tank.

I got gold repair, rations & smoke on one of my light tanks but sometimes wish had a med kit.
Get extra vision/reload on light thats why use rations, smoke helps hide tank. So its hard decision which one not to have for me.
Gold repair kit is a must obviously.

@@Jordy.22 i used to do that with the normal repair, use it once then get tracked again "rage" lol. So now always take a gold repair on my tank

That tank is op against lepards or something that has no armor, it can do 700+3000 damage in just 10s close combat. So you can destroy any soft tank and enemy tank can shot you one or two times in that time. Why they make these kind of tanks?

In my opinion, only two tanks are really worth buying from this event. The ignis and the...forgot the name...pretty much the one that looks like the object 430U. Imagine a 430U at teir 8.
