WG tier 8 premium tank design philosophy since the last couple of years:
- make a decent tier 9 tank
- give it 2/3-rd the HP and DPM

With its real-life stats (which include thicker armor than what it has in-game) it would easily have been tier 9 or even tier 10. But WG took those real-life stats and nerfed the shit out of them to make a tier 8 tank. Even though tier 9 premiums have been a thing for several years now.

It's cupola is a huge weak point so there's that.
@@eddyg1794 the whole turret gets penned by anything. Throw a potato at it, it will pen. So no hull down capabilities.
With 50 shells and a 17 second reload, even if you fire constantly from the point the game starts it will take you 14,5 minutes to run out of ammo.

You misunderstand. QB himself didnt get the kill on the arty, but his team did of course.
I got the two lootbox tanks and wanted to see reviews of them.
What I personally do not understand though, is how 380m VR on the Nemesis is 'fine' and you can 'just about get away without using optics' but on the lansen C it's a major flaw (the same 380m view range) you 'cannot get away without using optics' [see AAT60 review for reference].
Don't get me wrong, I won't use optics on the Nemesis (in the primary loadout at least) as I have a playstyle in mind that doesn't require optics, while on the ambushy Lansen I run it all the time, but still...

Not gonna lie the nemesis looks like A chieftain proto but a tier lower so ofc its a tier 8 premium
I still wanna get my hands rather on a Centurion 5/1 or a GSOR 1010. The GSOR has good alpha too and the Centurion has awesome DPM. Love both of em

not really, the project has (surprisingly) little to none to do with the Chieftain. It was a study-project for officers in the 1970s to design an MBT meant for export in order to compete with modernised T-54/55s. It was determined that a Chief would be to heavy and expensive for smaller nations (ironic, since the Chief originally was supposed to be an export-tank for Israel), while others like the Vickers Mk.1 were considered outdated. The original design was meant as a cheap, fast (it would have had 1 of the proposed Leo2 engines) and with enough firepower to mess-up a T-62 and still pose a problem to newer tanks like the T-72.
The only things that were taken from the Chieftain were its ABC-protection-unit and the turret somewhat resembeling the Chiefs.
Project in the end went nowhere, since it basically was just an exercise for college-students that was never seriously meant to be produced in any way, shape or form.

Shame I like the tank but can't get behind supporting lute boxes. I know it's a lost cause but it still doesn't feel right to me.

BZ-176 is going to have a lot of fun with this tank, Imo it's good that it has a big weakpoint, hull-down tanks with no weakspots are awful for the game.
BZs have fun with everything.
@@juanzulu1318 BZs have a bad time going up against the Obj-252U and other tanks with heavy frontal armor.
against a Medium yes as it should unless it is outplayed

@juanzulu1318 I have surprisingly killed many BZ 176s with the caliban, I like the bz176 on the enemy team it becomes a dark souls boss
I miss the days when tier 8 mediums were limited to 240 alpha damage, except for when they had derpy 122mm guns with 390 alpha, that had poor pen and never hit anything. Soon we’ll have mediums with accurate 500 alpha 100mm cannons.

Loot boxes that offer a random chance of giving you x or y was a fair few years ago ruled this is a form of gambling & therefor illegal to offer such things within games that are played by people under the age of 18, as does World of Tanks do. This is against the law & I've reported this as such as well.

How does that make logical sense? This tank has a smaller caliber cannon than the 122TM but it hits harder?? And the 122 has higher penetration
Not sure how BUT - I got 6 tanks from 100 boxes!!! Got the two mains ones, the black dog LT, and about 30k gold for dup tanks I already had.
Russian and Chinese 120mm and 122mm alpha for 390-400 while 110mm alpha is 420. 105mm is all over the board starting at 320 and going up until 420 alpha. Can we get some consistency????

The AAT60 is much better of the two lootboxes tanks.
Because it has like 700 more dpm, no "shoot here cupola" and no giant bloom like The Nemesis has.
The AAT60 = 4/5 🌟

I honestly expected this tank to be a hull down monster with good DPM and a turret with a “weak spot” but honestly, it seems like an ok tank.
Ofc i got this and not the AAT :( it would be nice tank with its original stats but wg nerfed it to the ground for some reason. At the same time the AAT is overtuned because why not

theres another weakspot just below the gun, even if you riochet off the upper hull near the gun it penetrates.
the most important question is what are the other premium vehicles in the boxes!???

I haven't given a cent to WG for about 4 years now. And I have no idea how I still have a decent 51% win rate playing the CDC, STA, T34, E4, FV4202, etc against the newer premiums that are on a whole different level

Will, give this tank another go. Dropping vents and making the gun actually hit. Cause you have low DPM, you want every shot to hit and vents are too general.
I would rather drop the rammer or the turbo and exchange them with something for more accuracy.

I played about 15 games in this tank and it feels...okay. It has plenty of weaknesses, and the awful gun handling almost forces you into V-Stabs which is rather frustrating for such a low DPM MT. It feels like they were trying to make a British 122TM but missed the mark in a lot of areas. Definitely one to skip.
NOBODY should be using vents in a meta that is all about firepower, survivability and mobility...rammer, hardening and Vstab or turbo wayyyyyyyy before vents. time to evolve quicky
The question that i've in mind is "ok this tank is decent, but why i should get it? Bad DPM, gun handling is meh, yes this tank is agile, but is a slow tank and the armor is not sufficient, this tank doesn't exceed in nothing"

It's a 120 firing sabots
actually it's 110. In the designprocess they saw that the 120mm from the Chief (and the in development Rh120/L44) would make to turret to crammed and so it was "scaled down" to a 110mm gun that was currently being developed at the same time as the tank.
You know the tank is bad when 3400 damage counts as a good game

The gun depression really don't make sense on this tank. The 10° shouldn't just be when you have the gun pointed *directly* forward, it should be for at least 8-10° left and right as well. Wargaming's gotten into a bad habit of tanks whose gun depression is limited by phantom obstructions.

Not sure why this is classed as a medium to be honest. Game could use tank class revamp to be honest. Mediums should be able to go over 50km/h and heavies not.
technically it was designed as a MBT and had the armour to boot but WG made up new stats/name
feels kinda like a armored skorpion? the argument might be that the skorpions gun is better, but I never got that tank to actually pen its shots fully aimed and with firepower equipment.
skorpion has a lot more DPM, better concealment, better top speed and sniper like precision, i personally cant see a skorpion in this heavy wannabe medium tank.

122 TM is one of the most painful tanks for me to play, due to that reload, so I would expect this to be just as painful.
You can't brawl in that tank, it's best suited as a support role
@@kripperinoobviousino6019 U can brawl in it but u need to make sure you have teammates near you who can take all the shots while you're reloading.

You can absolutely brawl in it, just never try to take fights alone and don't put yourself into spots where you can't fall back from (this is info works with most tanks as well).
So its like a 60tp, only uglier. Not what i expect from a medium tank. I get the same satisfaction and gameplay from is6 or a defender, so why play this?

20:50, this should be like that for EVERY tank except the smallest most sneaky LT-trash. The distance is laughable that many tanks can actually hide behind such dumb bush. Another reason as to why this game is shit. Godawful execution of its mechanics.
