New Drennan Silverfish to fluoro are superb. Fished all winter so far with nothing else on a F1 & carp lake without any problems. Forging of fine wire makes them so strong.👍
I’ve started using pre-tied more and more this last two years. I prefer tying my own but don’t have the time to do it and actually using the new products, I’ve had no problems at all. I still tie my own barbel and chub hook lengths but for waggler, silvers, and method, pre-tied are great.
I use F1 Pellet hook for the same too - I had a carp on for over an hour on a size 22 F1 Pellet hook last year. I did lose it in the end but the hook stayed strong through the whole battle.

Alcocks and pegley davis spring to mind
Alan. Always have a matchman hook tier in your box for when you can't feel your fingers
