It got Austria through a sketchy unification referendum, Czechoslovakia through a dictat then conquest. Memel via an ultimatum. Then Poland and other countries through influence and military victories in the early part of WW2. So, if American or British map makers created a map that showed Germany controlling all those territories, that would mean politically, that said makers or country are recognizing all those as rightful territories of Germany even though the war is still going on and there's signed peace treaty. So I understand that those type of maps are ultra rare and wouldn't exist outside of military situational reports. So using the pre-war map is quite enough for me as step in the right direction compared to using the post war 1945 map.

The only reason a lower rank would look at/down at someone of a higher rank is if they see them as an enemy. By looking down at the SS officer, this soldier is inadvertently showing us that the organization of Hydra, as a whole, already sees itself as independent of the Nazi regime as well as an enemy.
I dunno what the plan is for Skull after well Endgame but having him not be a foil for Cap in the sequels in some form, either possession by the Cube or remade using Cap's blood for HYDRA, something will always feel like a missed opportunity. You took away basically his greatest foe, his perfect mirror double. I was sorta expecting since Winter Soldier is based on the Ed Brubaker run, that Alexander Pierce would be Skull as his character in the films is Pierce in name only. He's more akin to an American version of Aleksander Lukin, a Russian billionaire and Bucky's USSR/KGB handler and Skull in disguise via Cosmic Cube. But all that being said, Hugo was born to play Red Skull, i was getting Jack Nicholson Joker vibes with him and i love that.
