I've spent the last 3 hours trying to find any info on rod rocking. Hands down, this is the BEST INFO I COULD FIND!!!
I had a hard time finding out info on the rod rockers as well. I'm planning on building one and doing a video on it during the winter in-between fishing trips.
7:33 Here's a tip to make a fish less unpleasantly fishy! Bring a kettle of water to a boil. While it's heating up, score the fish with your knife so it doesn't curl up on you. Put the fish in a colander or strainer over the sink, and pour the hot water over it. Its fishiness should be tamed that way, lol. It's a little trick I picked up from a Japanese home cook.
It shouldn't smell bad unless you do it often, but if your sink stinks after pouring the hot water over the fish, peel some zest off of a lemon and put it in the garbage disposal. If it's particularly egregious, lay out some old coffee grounds; they absorb odor pretty well.
Interesting I will try that next time I have fishy fish...
Love to see someone catching something other than sharks at myrtle! When we went it was illegal to fish for sharks but jothing else would bite! Look forward to meeting you this weekend!
I typically do not fish for shark but when fishing for bull reds you ultimately will end up with them on your line.
@@fishingwithpierce8648 I was definitely fishing for reds ;)
Great video man!!! Good info and most of all great audio. Great stories about your uncle!! Maybe we can fish together one day when I am down there!
Thanks for watching. I live in Lancaster SC 9 months out of the year and then spend the entire summer down in Myrtle Beach. I watched a ton of your videos when I was learning how to catch catfish and enjoy your commentary. I wish I had the gift of the gab like you do.. lol love to go out fishing together sometime. Take care...
Good stuff
Thanks for watching
Nice I’m gonna be moving out there this year around the end of summer any advice for fishing out there and general
What up Greg
What up Cera?
If I'm flying out for vacation do I need to bring a fillet knife/tackle or does a rod rental from the pier get you everything you need?
Im sure they have anything you want for purchase
Where did you get the rod rocker? I don't think I saw a link for it.
I bought it at a local bait shop called Garden City Bait and tackle I think it was like $25 dollars I will take a look at Amazon see if I can find one if I do I will post the link
I'll be down second week of June.
Hopefully the King Mackerel will be running then. I love going after the Kings..
@@fishingwithpierce8648 I'll definitely be making a trip to jetty this time and do some fishing too.
We're going down first week of June. Kentucky. Hubby is from England. He's never seen anything like this.
So what was the point of showing how to make the rigs if you were gonna have 3 other screens showing what we already saw? Viewers wanna see HOW TO MAKE THE JIG! Then you fast forward through the parts of how to tie the hooks! WHAT WAS THE PURPOSE??? Common Sense folks
