Fishing is allowed on the Fort Morgan Pier. They have signs saying you cannot fish on the "inside" portion due to the boat ramp. There is no fee required to fish on this pier. It's a beautiful area. Thank you for watching!
I love Mcmillan pier! I caught my first saltwater fish there. A guy that helped me to get more invested in saltwater fishing actually caught an 80 or so pound bull shark off the pier.
Really want to thank you for doing this video. It is particularly good for those of us who are now physically challenged, or lack a saltwater boat. Your techniques, both onshore and off, are a blessing to so many. Keep up the good work soldier !!
Love your channel, brother. Instead of just showing off a ton of trophy catches in exotic destinations not all of us can get to you to share your location, gear, bait & technique with your viewers. Your content provides value, a LOT of value, and that is rare these days. I can honestly say your channel has done more to up my fishing game than any other single resource. I really appreciate the content & hope you're getting sponsors, you deserve 'em.
So great to see you fishing with your Mom. I loved to fish with my Mom, too. Sadly, she left this earth 3 years ago yesterday. Bet she is not tired of singing about her Jesus yet!
Sorry you can’t fish with your mom any longer while on this earth, but if you know Jesus as your Lord and Savior as you say your mom did, you’ll see her again and forever be with the Lord. I promise, she’ll never get tired of worshiping the Lord, she’s in the Joy of the Lord and her faith is now made sight. God bless friend.
Awesome! My wife fishes with me like your mom does with you. When I got back from Iraq in 05’ it took me a while to start enjoying life and fishing was great therapy. And now we’re on the boat every chance we get.
I’ve been here since his 10k subscribers and ever since then this man has grown so much and is an absolute goat to the fishing community we need more people like him
Thank you so much for sharing your adventures with the public. The old fart that I am can't help but think back to the days I stood in the cold weather on the beaches of South and North Holland, two provinces in The Netherlands. Most of the time I only took eel and/or flounder with me if I was lucky, the rest I just threw back. To feel that "bite" and hook the fish is just such a reward for standing in the cold dark night. I do miss it because, here in the Mojave Desert, not much flounder to catch eh? The closest would be California which is about 6 hours away. (Hmmm, only 6 hours, gasoline, hotel/motel costs, food, fishing license, what are we waiting for? LoL)
It always fun anticipating the bite. And no , the Mojave has nothing but mountains, small bushes, and vast sandy valleys haha. I always wished I was back home when we trained in the Mojave. Beautiful landscape but very brutal for sure.
Dude your my favorite UA-cam fisherman too watch and I don’t even fish the ocean. Keep up the great work! Thanks for your service and god bless you brother!
Really enjoy your content and the way you handle fish is perfect to preserve them for a future catch. I've watched your channel for a while and really like all your videos. I've even went back and viewed the old ones to catch up. Keep doing what you're doing it's great content.
Dude - I watch hundreds of UA-cam fishing videos - mostly on bass fishing - but - your videos are at the TOP of my list!!! I get down to Orange Beach/Gulf Shores about two times a year - and I always watch your stuff to prepare me. Everything about your videos - is well done - and I have learned so much - Thank You. Now gotta go get me some Bama Saltwater merch!!!!!
I like the education you do with size limits and seasonal fish. There's a lot to consider. I'm typically on one of the party boats when I fish salt water.
I really enjoy watching your videos especially the catch and cook ones! You teach so much while having fun. Can You teach us how to tie these rigs that you use? That would be super helpful.
Wow this brought back memories. I use to live before that pier in the peninsula golf club. My uncle took my to that pier many times, thanks for the video
Man I appreciate all your vids and info, I come to gulf shores at least once or twice a year to stay on the beach and vacation, I’m a big fisherman but know zero about sea fishing, I don’t have a boat, I was recomended your Chanel by a guy on the beach and it has been really helpful please keep up all the content! 👍👍
Absolutely love your videos! You take the time to explain everything you do! Headed over to your store….gotta support guys like you! Keep up the awesome videos!!
Great video. I love all types of fishing, but saltwater fishing is my most favorite. Being in the central section of NC, I do have my choices of the types of fishing. Thank you for all you do taking us along with you. It does help to see how others target fish. Hopefully, some day, I'll get to try your waters. Thanks again and God Bless.
Ne ohio here and i love your videos! I grew up fishing lake erie but never saltwater...came down last year and went pier fishing and I used so many of your tips! Well be back down in june and can't wait to go fishing again and see what we get!
Thank you so much for your service and dedication to our happiness! I’m glad to say that I have watched this channel grow for a long time and it amazes me to see how for you have come. Congratulations sir
Love watching your vids. Really enjoy the catch and cooks. And let me say, sir, you are really lucky to be able to fish with your mom. Enjoy the time and make the memories! Greetings from Michigan!

Great content Thank you for posting it I am coming down from PA to Mobile for a wedding on the 14 th of May we are planning to fish that pier on the 15 and 16th we are supper exited hopefully will get to see you out there thank you again
This Is Good to know about being a Vet and I appreciate it 🙏 I'm disabled and was wondering about an electric or motorized cooler? Would they permit me or do you know?and Brother you laugh more and it seems you enjoy fishing with your Mom 👍❤
I love watching your channel I'm from just outside Auburn but I've been here in Jacksonville FL. Would you do a fishing knot video for us to go back and watch when we need to please sir?
Just saw a fellow fishing for sheepshead with crickets and catching! The fisherman did a good job comparing fiddlers and crickets on the hook. Unless the big claw is left on, it is hard to see much difference. Not sure where he was fishing, but it look much like our bay / in shore waters, bridge piling, etc… Talk about a breakthrough…! I have had good results on sand fleas, barnacles, and dead shrimp. It would be great to add crickets to the list of baits. Fiddlers are ~ $4.50 a dozen and small. $5 will get you ~ 50 crickets. Hope you try it and have good results. Best
Another great video! I was down there last week and down towards the end of the concrete wall by the rocks one of our party caught a 5 to 6 foot sand shark on a sheepshead fillet. We could see several sharks that size and bigger cruising along the wall in about 3 ft of water
my daughter and I are going to be down in fort morgan the 18th thru the 24th. we would love to go out fishing with you. she's a big fan of your channel. she's a nine-year-old that loves any kind of fishing and outdoor activity.
Flounder sound like catching a channel cat they feel the same way at first you feel a ticking feeling so you set the hook and it feels like your snagged and than they just take off we used cut bait especially dead bass minnows
Yep, like all the rest, congrats on 100,000. I look forward to all the newest vidioes. Great to see you out fishing with your mom. I was wondering where that battery pack went for my cool bubbles. Getting ready for spring trout up here in Massachusetts. Tight lines 🙂
Keep up the good work ❤ Me and my husband come fishing down there twice a year and we are coming down this weekend again. We always hope we will run into you somewhere!!!! Congratulations on 100,000 🎉
So I’m coming down in April. What is the best target species for this time. Will the mangrove bit be on? What hook and bait combos? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Love your content. Great mix to keep it interesting.
Thanks for the tip on fort morgan pier. Have you ever fished inshore on Mobile bay? Saw a video about Fairhope Municipal Pier today and looked interesting. It's also free. As always great video!

Are you allowed to fish from shore on either side of piers?
Really want to thank you for doing this video. It is particularly good for those of us who are now physically challenged, or lack a saltwater boat. Your techniques, both onshore and off, are a blessing to so many. Keep up the good work soldier !!
So happy to hear! That was my goal, Thanks for your positive feedback. Tightlines and God Bless !

The family that fishs together,

I would suggest putting a plastic bead between the swivel and lead but half the time I don't use them or forget them haha. Love the content!

My daddy fished the old pier ,he threw a cast net & we had mullet for friends & family on our way home to Pensacola, great memories.
Them mullet get thick for sure! Good memories to have!
I like the education you do with size limits and seasonal fish. There's a lot to consider. I'm typically on one of the party boats when I fish salt water.

Yay Mom!!!! Cool lady!❤
I love watching your channel I'm from just outside Auburn but I've been here in Jacksonville FL. Would you do a fishing knot video for us to go back and watch when we need to please sir?
The old peir at Fort Morgan had splinters that would go through your shoes and all. Great video I enjoyed it.
Yes, no rails, and the ultimate freedom (imho) haha. I kinda miss it.
@Bama Saltwater yes you could fish at will which ever side you wanted.
Just saw a fellow fishing for sheepshead with crickets and catching!

Another good video. Alabama sure lays out the rules nowadays We need a fishing Bible
Every time I watch this guys videos I always think like damn this dudes gonna be a good dad someday lol.
Can you fish off Dauphin Island? I used to go with my uncle years ago. He had a dairy/pecan farm right next to the entrance of the bridge to there.
Thanks for the tip on fort morgan pier. Have you ever fished inshore on Mobile bay? Saw a video about Fairhope Municipal Pier today and looked interesting. It's also free. As always great video!
