- Sorry this took a while to get to but its finally here a new big update towards the progress on this project

The biggest and greatest SOA update ever!
New character model using mesh deformation (Digital Purgatory and Lixes)

New animations for the new character model (Digital Purgatory)
New animations entirely (landing, rail balance failing, etc.)
A more expressive Sonic (animations can change his facial state)
Item Boxes
Light speed dash improvements
Control and physics improvements
Generic shield, magnet shield, and invincibility implemented, including their abilities
Hurt state (this means you no longer walk through spike traps)
General engine improvements because that's how we are
Optimization (better performance)
Player replication reworked (you can see everyone else's jumpballs and spindash balls)
Audio rebalancing
Emerald Coast
New client-sided music manager
Speed Shoes and Invincibility
Removed piggy hat

You absolutely nailed the feel of the Adventure Era with this. Great animations! I especially like how you got the Light Speed Dash accurate to SA2's animation.
"Sorry this took a while to get to but its finally here" Yeah i don't think it has been more than a couple weeks since the last update plus you have been transparent with the development of the game showing us all how things are going unlike some other game... Fantastic update btw.

It really has been a while, but the new animations are fucking perfect and so is the new model. You and green keep up the work can't wait for the next update.

It's not the magnetic shield if you lose it in water.
Try using magnets in water in real life. You might be shocked to see what happens!

... it’s an electric shield because it magnetically attracts rings, and since water is a conductor for lightning the shield disappears

I love the animations and models and don't worry to much about taking your time time in this i just hope this amazing project doesnt get canceled or droped like most of the sonic roblox projects. You really do a great job!
This is incredibly impressive. Stuff like this and ROOM 2 make Roblox look like a professional engine tbh. This is one of the better Sonic engines out there and it's in Roblox of all things.

I really love this sonic model and this whole game makes me think of sonic advance if it was in 3d keep up the goodwork!
I am just gonna say that, the game is pretty good with these updates and I gotta say, I AM FREAKING IN LOVE WITH ALL OF THESE. It is really good with the animations and all of the new features, for me this is the best roblox game.

So Digital I was wondering if you were going to do an original storyline or take a story from a previous game I remember that was something Pokemon Brick Bronze did and the story was great so I would love to see what you got in store
Don’t know iff you knew this but.
Iff you want to connect the PS4 controller to your mobile device, press and hold the central PS Button and the Share button for three seconds until the lightbar at the top of the controller begins to flash. Next open up the Bluetooth settings on your mobile phone/tablet and you should see DualShock 4
To the people that want it on mobile, it will maybe come, but scaled down

Yea u still have to fix the rail switching, cuz its a lot similar to the one in SA2 and thats not a good thing, but the game is very good,this is one of the best, BTW when are u gonna finish the enemies? Or atleast the egg pawns, cuz its kinda boring not having enemies,cuz there literally no roblox sonic fan games that have enemies, cuz if u do, it would be kinda interesting
there isn’t anything wrong with the rail switching, the only thing that is similar about the rail switching is that you have to have more input to rail switch

It is kinda tricky to do using the keyboard, tbh. It would be better if you only had to lean towards the adjacent rail to jump onto it, instead of having to do that, while also pressing space and having to move the camera around by using the arrow keys to make sure you could actually rail-switch properly.

@@shockerspeed9417 Yep. That, alongside the lack of auto camera and the fact that Sonic's angle does not immediately reset after running off a ramp, are my only technical issues with this game.

I cant figure out how to use a controller for this game, especially on how to use the right stick for the camera. It would make this game exponentially more fun to play if I can get a controller to work. I see you using a controller and the 2 sticks to move and control the camera. How do you get that to work?
you need to use a controller compatible with roblox x input. so like an xbox one controller
