@@jescis0 I do agree with this video. Most of my comment wasn't support of the video. The only criticism I have is continuing to be a Nintendo customer. We were all Nintendo fans at some point and I believe not being some of us falling out of favor of Nintendo is a problem on the company's part because I believe they have what it takes to cater to all of us. Maybe I'm talking off my ass
Remember kids, it’s always morally correct to pirate Nintendo games. The more they crap on their fans, the more of us will go out of our way to spite them. Anti-consumer indeed.
Didn't Sony pay gaming Journalist to not only give favor to their games but mass report, threaten, and attempt to dox people who criticize them just for pointing out the shady and political shit they keep putting in their games. You know their games full of Ai, Microtransactions, DEI stuff, and their going towards live service games then mock you and harass you for not buying their shitty products?
I grew up with Nintendo. Owned all the systems. About a decade ago they forced Nintendo power magazines from the 80's offline. Because somehow this cost them money. Never liked them since. All the over the top anti-piracy doesn't help them in any way, shape or from. What's the point in forcing 8 bit NES rom sites offline? Nintendo can die, their last Zelda was pretty much a joke anyway, mostly copied content from the previous Zelda released like 8 yrs ago. A game that still has a full price tag of $60 today. I hate Nintendo.
Okay is nintendo worse than ubisoft and blizzard? Absolutely not those guys got some vile sht behind the scenes, but does nintendo suck as a consumer company? Yes absolutely. Striking down fan games and methods to preserve media, i literally got into emulation to preserve luigi's mansion dark moon on the 3DS and that was the catalyst to my entire emulation library, i think i have more than enough games to back down from the gaming industry for the time being and maybe getting a game or two on sale cause GOD KNOWS nintendo game sales are dog sht. Sorry for the rant i agree with most of your points
Don’t get me wrong I agree 100% Nintendo is Evil in the way they attack their own fans, but at the same time, I find it funny that no matter what we still play and love their games and the reason we think they’re so evil is because of exactly that. We love their games and the history they have made so much that it brings so much frustration and anger whenever they do such cutthroat tactics that are the opposite of what they portray in their creations. It’s sad really, but that’s what an unfathomable amount of money/value can do to almost anyone. A tale as old as time.
Thank you so much for making this video. Couldn’t have explained any of this any better. I’m very tired of fighting with those kinds of people that just swear on every single thing this company does. And it hurts more because you’re fighting with people about products and IPs that you genuinely love.
Nintendo just went full Ganondorf this year, Nintendo is going after and suing everyone in their way and they're not playing around, first is Yuzu then Palworld for patent infringement and now ryujinx, what's next, Nintendo suing sony and Team Asobi for patent infringement on Astro bot? This is absolutely insane, Nintendo ain't what it used to be anymore. I hate to see Nintendo/Pokemon and Pocketpair/Palworld fight each other, I love them both, and as a long serving Nintendo and Pokemon fan, I respect pocketpair Palworld for creating something Incredible for what Nintendo/Pokémon has failed to do, after all we all have to get ideas from somewhere that we find inspirational. I'm siding with Palworld and pocketpair on this, cause they don't deserve to get law suited by them for patent infringement, As much as I Love Nintendo and Pokemon but I will NOT GOING TO TOLERATE THEIR DIRTY BULLYING TACTICS against small indie gaming companies like Pocketpair and Palworld and suing them for patent infringement, I've already downloaded Palworld on my PS5 to show some Love and support to Pocketpair.
what needs to be said needs to be said. the more people that speak out like this and make their voices heard the better. we shouldnt be scared of them, we are the reason they exist at all.
When it comes to PC fans, yes Nintendo is probably one of the worst companies, but thats excatly it. I am very critical with Nintendo, their business side of the conpany does suck. However, to call them the "evilest" video game company is a huge exaggeration. Like it or not, but if you are just a casual Nintendo fan, nothing that Nintendo does, effects you what-so-ever. Where-as what Bethesda does, Ubisoft does, Activision Blizzard does, 2k does, Square Enix does and especially EA does effects the casual audiences with their greedy business practices, as their greed is thrown directly into their games. Microtransactions, AI, NFTs, Lootboxes & not even owning their games is something that each the listed companies above have done. Something that Nintendo does not do in their non-mobile games, as they understand that if you're a company thats supposed to be family friendly, you shouldn't try to milk thousands of children who don't know better. Game preservation is important, and yes I am also saddened by the emulators takedown. However, this is not at all on the same level to what the companies I've listed down did. At least Nintendo is providing a way to experience their games, and the agrument of a Switch Emulator to "preserve games" is a bit of a lie, when the Switch is out literally right now. It was always a silly decision to make an emulator on a console that's currently readily available. Ask yourself this, is the normal, casual gamer going to be effected by this? The answer is no, and you are lying if you say otherwise. The only thing I genuinely hate Nintendo for is their strict take downs on fan projects, because while I can see why legally "they have the right to", it still annoys me to see all that talent lost for nothing, especially when it doesn't effect Nintendo at all to leave them alone. If Sega can allow fans to do what they want, then why can't Nintendo.
My take away and tl;dr is that I do agree overall that what Nintendo did sucks, but I can't in good faith call them "the most evilest game company in the world" Especially when you have Ubisoft with their mass lay offs, mircotranactions & SA in their workplace and protecting predators. Something that Nintendo does objectively good with, is protecting their employees and not having shitty business practices (to the general consumer) in their games
im sorry but a company who copyright strikes youtuber's showcasing their 1st party titles on their youtube channels is fucking pure stupidity. EVERY other gaming company has realized at this point its basicly free advertising. Yet nintendo would rather have people loose their channels for simply showing gameplay or music of their 1st party titles.. That is pure evil imo
Ubisoft, Blizzarrd - yes. Those companies do suck. But just because another company sucks - doesn’t make Nintendo except from their actions? Lol. Two wrongs don’t make a right dude. Nintendo is extremely shady. And to say that it doesn’t affect “casual gamers” is honestly, patently false. I never had a 3DS until recently. The eshop was already closed down. So hacking it was literally my only option to get games - even if I WANTED to pay for them. There are so many shady practices Nintendo employs. Sure, other companies might be evil too? But it’s like saying “well being stabbed to death is worse than being shot to death”. There’s no mutual exclusivity here. Multiple companies can all be ruining the gaming industry simultaneously - and they are. Nintendo included.
@@Chillst0rm not to mention - emulation is legal. You can argue that showing someone how to dump a game, that they own legally, fits in the realm of “fair use”. So not only is it a crappy thing to do - it’s kind of an insane legal precedent to be setting in the first place. Russ is such a nice guy, and he does not deserve this.
@@olliepoplol5894i never said what Nintendo did doesn't suck of course Nintendo sucks in a ton of aspects, my agrument is that calling them the "evilest" gaming company though is a bit of a stretch. Nintendo obviously sucks when they take down fan games, strike modded Nintendo videos and take down emulation, however I just don't think its anywhere near as bad as Sexual harrassment at the workplace, literal suicides committed due to the workplace environment, mass lay offs, and exploiting children with terrible and greedy monetisation methods.
I just wish Nintendo release their game for PC, or at least sell Roms on their website, they would pretty much fix a bunch of issues the community has. The console would still be the preferred way for most people to play, but at least there would be an option to buy games that otherwise is not avaliable, and there would also be an option for those who like to have better graphics, at the same time they would decrease piracy on PC because now people would be able to actually buy the game.
@Luizanimado only in a perfect world. I agree that exclusivity is anti-consumer, but I think what would be more reasonable is just not going after all the emulators. If they want us to buy their games they can simply make them available on switch.
Nintendo could either make their own store that sells all of their previous games as roms, and make millions of dollars Or spend money on legal fees going after roms and emulators, which is futile because roms and emulators are never going to go away They chose the latter Also it's good to share that nintendo is bad for doing this because they are also always balancing having good PR vs shutting stuff down and getting some bad PR
Thank you nintendo for not selling your roms because now everyone gets them for free. If they sold them we would all be giving them money for every game we like for nes, snes, n64, gamecube, wii, wiiu, gb, gbc, gba, ds, 3ds. I'm saving lots of money by nintendo not offering to sell them to me
Yes, in most cases, it is considered illegal to intentionally acquire a monopoly through bankruptcy proceedings due to antitrust laws, which prohibit actions that substantially lessen competition or create a monopoly; if a bankruptcy sale could result in a monopoly, government agencies like the Department of Justice may scrutinize and potentially block the transaction.
Didn't nintendo rip rom's right off the internetnet? The very same roms most of us have been trying to preserve for the last fifteen or twenty years or more You're welcome, Nintendo. It is thanks to people like us who preserve games for you. And still buy it back for the 11th time. 😢 this video is so true. I still have my old NES and have bought super Mario 3 11 freaking times
In my perspective Sony and Microsoft are worse due to them pushing DEI and ESG to the ground. And as a bonus Nintendo said that they would never use AI to make games.
Nintendo also doesn't do micro transactions in their games and they don't call you a bigot if you don't buy their games, and they don't pay journalist to mass harass and report channels that talk bad about your shady practices. Sony and Microsoft have. Nintendo taking down a video is the real life example of them sending a lawyer with stern warning to stop... Sony doing it is sending a gang and some hit men to rough you up and threaten your life and way to make money and normally for far less. One can at least make an excuse that of course Nintendo takes down videos and attacks roms, they want to show stuff their way so you get the idea they want you to have about their games to sell more, shady, a little yeah. But Sony will try to kill your entire channel and mass report websites or groups that disagree with politics or if they just don't like you for pointing out their shady stuff
lol I thought I was the only one who refers to being a Nintendo fan as similar to having Stockholm syndrome. Ngl after the Palworld stuff, I decided to only get Nintendo games used so they don’t get a sale from me.
Or maybe it could be our faults unfortunately: The super Smash Bros Community, Weegeepie, Joycon Boyz Charity scam, weaponizing iwata's death, sending developers death threats, wanting to kill Shigeru Miyamoto, Sakurai or Charles thinking they were the ones that are making the decisions, Super Mario Bros Movie replumbed, starman3 and A whole lot more I get Nintendo has sucky decisions we don't like but the problem is it could be our faults and it's starting to show.
For the most part, I've been tardy for new consoles, NES I didn't get until the orange Zapper, SNES I got when it was Christmas 1991, same thing with the N64 but GameCube I was tardy again, Wii I was first in line at a local Walmart and Wii U I was tardy again(not buying it until the Nintendo Switch and Breath Of The Wild was released and then I bought a Nintendo Switch during the pandemic or so… so I guess I was inconsistently tardy for a bunch of the systems… 😂😂😂😂
Just stop giving Nintendo money like I did. You can't keep supporting them for being evil and then act surprised that they continue to be evil. You are part of the issue if you reward bad behavior. Also, nothing in any Pokemon game was invented by Pokemon. All of those ideas were in games and tv shows since before Pokemon existed. So, no Palworld is not "like Pokemon". And what do you mean "there's nowhere else to go" for monster taming games!? There's monster taming games on EVERY console, AND on PC! Some are Pokemon-like, and others are more original like Palworld!
I’ll do you one further. Donkey Kong was (and is?) a blatant rip off of King Kong. Universal sued Nintendo. Nintendo won. Kind of, I don’t know, super hypocritical - don’t ya think? Lol
You have mentioned the emulators and that will be what I'll comment about. The players nowadays are not what they are supposed to be which is why there are so many cheaters in "League of Legends", "Halo" or "Counter Strike". They are not playing the games to enjoy the gameplay. They are playing the games to show everyone something you will never show to anyone if you are really intelligent. They are just like that guy from "Killbasa" segment of "1000 ways to die" episode and I think you remember why he died. The main reason of their "Nintendo is just for children" phrase is the power of Nintendo consoles since Wii was the newest console sold by Mario Mario. Sony is almost went bankrupt by PS3, what made them to stop with the promise of the newest the best technology. Neither PS4 gives what PS2 gave, nor PS5 does. First Microsoft XBox was such a failure, Xbox 360 has easily proven to be better successor of it. Still Sony offers more cultures than Xbox, although both are worldwide. I've mentioned Wii since Satoru Iwata's words about it. PS3 and Xbox360 were up-to-date, while Wii was a bit more powerous Gamecube than the original one. The price Nintendo paid for that, was Dolphin being albe to emulate Gamecube and Wii. I suppose the same with Wii U and Switch Emulators. It's because of how much weak Nintendo consoles are. I think all those, who say "Nintendo is just for children" and play their games on an emulator, are just trying to artifically prolong those pistols between their own legs, seeing that as the only proof they are men. And that's why they will never play on Nintendo.
Nintendo "fans": I bought some games of yours once, give me access to all of your intellectual property. I know that Nintendo isn't a sweety pie, they're a big business. I don't expect them to service me like they're my mommy taking requests for what kind of nuggies I want for dinner. Do they really have to make their entire catalog available to you on every current console of theirs? That's entitled and out of touch to think IMO. Like, twilight princess.....the Wii version is so cheap, and the Wii itself is also cheap. I don't get access to every body shape of ford mustang when I buy a 2024. I can get on board with some fans in some situations, like overreaching copyright strikes or the way Nintendo is so unfriendly toward the competitive smash community, but that just means I can sympathize and agree with the fans, not that I believe that Nintendo shouldn't be allowed to enforce it's legal rights. Do we want Nintendo to go the way of Sega? The Dreamcast was notoriously easy to pirate for and that was part of the downfall of that console. The gaming industry tried to destroy Nintendo in ~2013 during gamer gate, when every mainstream gaming news article was saying "gaming is dead, Nintendo is dead". Without Nintendo, fun gaming will go to the stone ages and it will be almost exclusively indie games that focus on creativity and fun, not just focus tested mutant abominations like the modern The Last of Us modern master piece clone games that seem to be the only thing the gaming industry wants to produce and promote these days.
Maybe, but he DOES have some good points… I usually say that I'm on the fence about the copyright issues because I have a song copyrighted and I play guitar, sing and yodel(Western style, think Hank Williams(Sr.) or Jimmie Rodgers)… but if you read the copyright law, you have a right to copy(backup) anything you buy(music, movies or whatever) as BACKUP, but you while your able to make backups you are not allowed to sell or give away your backup to anyone… it's only allowed for personal backup for preservation of foulable media that will need to be preserved… that being said, I'm not justifying what Nintendo is doing either because I know about that backup clause in the Copyright law… but I don't know Japanese copyright law so what I said only pertains to the United States of America Copyright law…
Nothing much to add on my end. My thoughts are exactly the same as yours with all of Nintendo’s wrongdoings and pretentious propaganda of marketing their games to be “family-friendly”, when they literally attack hardcore fans. The only thing I would add is that pretty soon, I will transition to only being a PC and Sony gamer, since I almost had enough of Nintendo’s crap
To say nintendo is more evil than activision is a bit hyperbolic, I still remember the blitzchung thing thats worse than screwing over customers thats straight up corrupt influence. Now that being said yes nintendo are dicks and im also fed up with their practices of hating their legacy products while shoveling the new shit at us and wondering why piracy is a thing. I also dont like the precedent they are setting with game mechanic patents we already saw just how bad for the industry they are, I am looking at you warner bros with nemesis
I basically only emulate.... I do disagree with you in your estimate of how many games are being pirated through emulation. Nintendo was right about tears of the kingdome being downloaded so many times at such an important time. The launch of the game is what i am referring to. Nintendo did lose money for sure. People who wanted to play the game probably would buy a switch and the game if there was no other options. Nintendo is wrong in general about emulation and older games.yes. but i do think emulating currently produced game is not a good thing for emulation in the long run. these companies van always use emulation of currently produced game to take emulation of older games down.
1. Twilight Princess and a Gamecube or Wii are not hundreds of dollars. A Wii can be had for $40 pretty easily. A Wii copy of the game is $15. 2. Most popular Nintendo games are relatively cheap as a used copy. Nintendo knows this. Despite that they do remasters and remakes more often than most companies. Sorry they can't be perfect and have everything ever running on the Switch for your convienience. 3. Emulation of modern games is unethical and theft. Nintendo did not make a PC version of Switch games. In order to run a switch emulator you have to bypass the copyright protection of their games by making an illegal copy of a decryption file. You are not entitled to play games on PC or hack them. Not everything is handed to you in life on a silver platter. 4. Emulation has little to do with games preservation. There are still working consoles for just about every system out there that can be had for $150 or less. These older systems generate a lot less heat and can be repaired. Emulation isn't needed for preservation. At least not yet. And even then FPGA is a far better form of emulation than software emulators that are mainly used for piracy. 5. 3DS games are still cheap. A 2DS XL is $190. Anyway I'm done with your video now. You are clueless. Abernic products are garbage.
Not only this, but Nintendo is among the best at preservation. As far as we know, they seem to have a record of everything they've made for decades and the production materials. Square Enix had to go to Nintendo because they had the source code for the Mana games in their vast vault, which is why its a Nintendo exclusive. Behind the scenes, they save everything on their consoles including third party data.
If you believe ($70.23 billion company) Nintendo is your friend because you grew up playing Mario- you are in the middle of a rude awakening. They were never your friend. Get over it.
Call Nintendo out for their boneheaded practices all you want(and everyone should), but calling it the 'MOST EVIL VIDEO GAME COMPANY" is some moronic shit, ngl. Well, I guess hyperbole and negativity sells heavily to gamers these days, but still.
People throw the word “hyperbole” around in this comment section like it’s a bad thing. 1. Nintendo is shady. Which company is the “most evil” is a pretty subjective question. 2. What’s wrong with hyperbole? It’s a useful literary device. lol
Lol im sure they're thinking "should we remake windwaker and twilight princess or ocarina and majoras? Nah we just did that how about we remake link's awakening and skyward sword" then everyone tilts about why haven't they re-remade these specific products. I love emulating, and have emulated many nintendo games so I get it. But the reality is its really costly to migrate a library of IPs as large as nintendo's to every new console. At this point i'm happy with them holding off on zelda remakes until switch 2. Trippin about nintendo being anti consumer because they're trying to stop people from pirating thier copyrighted material is being daft.
I’ll take “missing the point” for 10$ Alex. How about when they shut down websites that are PRESERVING games Nintendo DIDNT make? Lol. Or how they quite literally stole emulation from people they came after - just to resell the same emulation to their consumers? Every thing they do, is the definition of anti consumer.
@@olliepoplol5894 lol yeah some emulation is legal not all emulation, for example bios are not legal, some of the code in various emulators isnt legal such as wii IOSC code in dolphin. Atleast RGT85 and SomeOrdinaryGamer point out that this is a total legal grey area hence why every company involved in any type of litigation in this space shuts everything down when they're hit with a cease and desist because EVERYONE KNOWS if this shit ever hits an american or european court room theres a good chance the whole emulation scene is getting shut down over night. Obviously I don't care if people illegally download nintendo's copyrighted content, I just think it's really dumb when people complain that nintendo trys to stop them from doing it.
@@Str8upWizardCJ what about when Nintendo comes after ROM sites that contain many many games that are not made by Nintendo? Effectively, they are the only company actively fighting video game preservation. It’s delusion to pretend that isn’t the case.
@@olliepoplol5894 video game preservation isn't distribution, they've opened a museum for their games and they aren't going after the video game history foundation which currently has preserved physical and digital copies of virtually anything that could be gotten online and more. Nothing about online distribution of video games qualifies as videogame preservation. Theres nothing illegal about it and nintendo and no other company since the early 2000s has pursued litigation against the cloning or preservation of physical or digital media. You're just talking nonsense. Also they are not in any way the only company going after distribution of videogames or any media online for that matter. You're just woefully uninformed in what you're talking about and are looking to make silly justifications for what is clearly illegal activity. Again I don't care if people want to pirate from companies but i'm not going to cap for them as hard as you are.
Nintendo does some heinous things, sure, but it's odd calling it the most evil video game company when we have corporations like EA, Ubisoft, and even Sony(!) and the rest laying off people left and right even as they post record breaking profits.
@@ssjfrosty idk man. In this economy, I feel like losing your job and losing your primary income is worse than losing one way to play video games, but maybe you're young or loaded, in which case lucky you. Hell, I’ll be okay not playing video games for the rest of my life for financial freedom
@@m-ksh Agreed. Now we don't know what happens to Nintendo's employees. Maybe they get laid-off just as much, if not moreso and no one talks about it. Maybe they keep their workers decently content. Who knows?
@@afterdinnercreations936 Nah, we do know that they keep their workers for a looong time. Layoff is a big public thing when you’re firing a percentage of your entire workforce too. It also helps that they did not go ballistic on hiring during COVID that they would have to overcorrect. The one thing video game industry is perplexed with during this entire year of layoffs is that Nintendo stays pretty much intact. But idk, they’re a very Japanese-centric company, and it’s harder to fire people under their employment law. This is also probably why we don’t see the other Japanese companies like Capcom, Koei or Bamco laying off people. PlayStation is not as Japanese-centric and is now based in California, so it’s probably why they’re not exempt.
don't be capping. the pirates are not insignifiact. ryujinx lets me download tons of games like brand new epic mickey for complete free, bypassing pc port drm. i like it cos its free. don't cap you know people pirate
Tell me you know nothing without telling me that. The majority of the "pirates" use the games as demos and if they like it they buy it, if not they drop it and don't even keep it so it won't get them space so might as well bending over, taking it from the ass all the way too the throat, sucking them and when they done abusing you you say thank you master and start growing a pair
No need to be hyperbolic. The head-cannon we feel that Nintendo is a happy go lucky entity is just false. Nintendo is a cutthroat Company, in a cutthroat industry, in a cutthroat country, in a cutthroat world. @adammason4314 I swear I didn't plan to release a "Nintendo is evil" video in the month of October around the same time as my sub count reaches 666. If you don't here from me, you know what happened.
Emulation supports piracy. Weather you say you don't advise or not. That's what going to happen eventually and will happen. You can say gamers *believe piracy is a service issue, but nah. Let's be real here. Regardless of what you say. Emulation needs DRM that's make it only play legally acquired ROMS. Unfortunately, the Devs of emulators never really can/or may even bother to make those kind of restrictions.
It's most likely illegal for some reason to have the emulated game image in the first place, similar to circumventing movie encoding used for movie DVDs. I just don't know what the exact factor is for removing it off a cartridge. It doesn't matter if the emulation process itself isn't illegal. It doesn't matter if you own a legal copy and system to play it, if the act of taking it off the official cartridge into a different format is illegal. The issue trying to back up your media these days, is while it's technically legal to make a copy of a non-encrypted and DRM free VHS that you don't sell or share around (matter of fact, it isn't even a direct copy, since you would copy a transmission of the video feed into another VCR, and technically, you were not even creating a 1 to 1 original data with VHS), however it is illegal to circumvent things like data encryption that began to show up on CD media after companies lost the battle to not make back up copies of any kind (and these are digital copies on physical media, 1s and 0s, yes or no, on or off, pit or not pit, a perfect 1 to 1 copy of data ignoring disc flaws). And Nintendo emulating their own stuff, it's their legal right to emulate their own stuff on their own hardware that you have to buy or lease copies or streaming methods via official methods. Basically it's not an issue of how you play the game, it's an issue of how the copy you are using came into existence and whether or not you control the rights to how it came into existence. And I'm surprised how many UA-camrs get away with obviously stating they're emulating things, because they're basically publicly admitting to playing an illegal copy.
You're just straight up wrong btw it's legal to do whatever you want with YOUR product that you own. Backing up a game and playing it on a different format is not illegal and you can literally google that. That's exactly why that's all the emulators advertise
I'm a tshirt designer and i release some limited design for time to time. And when the tshirt collection is finish., It means it's done. And i wont sell it again even someone wanted to buy one. So if i saw my design being reprinted without my consent then i would sue that person too. You know what i mean. Let's be real here emulation still leads to piracy don't play dumb.
If there was millions of people wanting to buy your shirt, and you say no you won't make it for them, don't be surprised when they make it on their own. That's the point

I'm here before Nintendo's lawyer this time!.
Nintendo is disgusting. BTW... the balls to make a video like this in a time where there is gaming herpes like Nintendo around.
what needs to be said needs to be said. the more people that speak out like this and make their voices heard the better. we shouldnt be scared of them, we are the reason they exist at all.
say it with me, disney vault. they want an easy money button. and an excuse if they underperform.
My take away and tl;dr is that I do agree overall that what Nintendo did sucks, but I can't in good faith call them "the most evilest game company in the world"
Especially when you have Ubisoft with their mass lay offs, mircotranactions & SA in their workplace and protecting predators.
"why aren't there exclusives anymore?"
"WHY ARE NITNENDO TRYING TO MAKE THEIR GAMES EXCLUSIVE?"
pick one
Nintendo could either make their own store that sells all of their previous games as roms, and make millions of dollars
Or spend money on legal fees going after roms and emulators, which is futile because roms and emulators are never going to go away
They chose the latter
Also it's good to share that nintendo is bad for doing this because they are also always balancing having good PR vs shutting stuff down and getting some bad PR
You’re correct. And not enough people talk about that. Hypocrisy at its finest.
“Hey you can’t emulate our games!”
*proceeds to steal fan emulation and then resell it*.
They’re scum. I wish people would stop defending them.
I noticed Nintendo was anti-consumer years ago. Their fans/customers dont care though.
They are no different from Disney and Warner Brothers.
I dont think you understand what a "monopoly" is
I've been exclusively a Nintendo console gamer all my life. I'm done. I'm saving up for a gaming PC for the next generation.
Or maybe it could be our faults unfortunately:
The super Smash Bros Community, Weegeepie, Joycon Boyz Charity scam, weaponizing iwata's death, sending developers death threats, wanting to kill Shigeru Miyamoto, Sakurai or Charles thinking they were the ones that are making the decisions, Super Mario Bros Movie replumbed, starman3 and A whole lot more
I get Nintendo has sucky decisions we don't like but the problem is it could be our faults and it's starting to show.
Took me like 5 years before i bought the switch, but i might not even buy the switch 2 entirely. Considering getting a steamdeck instead
Nintendo : Palworld copied pokemon!
what about luigi mansion? did nintendo talk with ghostbusters before making the game? lol
Been saying this for a while but people refuse to listen and either pretend everything is okay or make excuses for the company
People lovvvvve licking the boot.
Ever heard of Nestlé?
Is Nestle a video game company? Jesus. Use your head man.
Ah yes, I love Nesquik: The Game. 🙄
worse than Ubi and EA? 2/10 rage bait.
Are Ubisoft and EA actively trying to shut down video game preservation - as a whole - including games they didn’t even make? No. No they’re not.
I think they're fine as a 3rd party software company. Just vote for your wallets.
Twilight princess was absolutely amazing
9:24 and there it is. There's the issue
I'm pretty sure emulation is taboo in Japan and Europe, but in America, it's perfectly legal.
It might be illegal or taboo in here, I wouldn't know, me and my friends emulate often lol
@@Mike14264 Do you live in Europe?

Call Nintendo out for their boneheaded practices all you want(and everyone should), but calling it the 'MOST EVIL VIDEO GAME COMPANY" is some moronic shit, ngl. Well, I guess hyperbole and negativity sells heavily to gamers these days, but still.
Who is worse then? Like actual apologists always making it seem lighter than it is
Naw dude, copy righting people's channel for showing just a little bit of video game footage is crazy. Chill out with the boot-licking please.
People throw the word “hyperbole” around in this comment section like it’s a bad thing.
1. Nintendo is shady. Which company is the “most evil” is a pretty subjective question.
2. What’s wrong with hyperbole? It’s a useful literary device. lol
Devin Chase is right.
Also a great time to point out *emulation is legal*

You won’t make it as a UA-camr.
And what was exactly the point behind that rude comment, other than to spit out an opinion without any actual feedback, advice or anything of worth?
and you won't make it as a good human

If there was millions of people wanting to buy your shirt, and you say no you won't make it for them, don't be surprised when they make it on their own. That's the point
