I much prefer this way of viewing the game. Moving around, zooming in on individual units and situations. It feels far more natural than the static and perma locked camera angle. Please like if you agree

Honestly not sure if anyone here enjoys Killteams but MountainSide Tabletop is an excellent battle report channel and their camera work is phenomenal at catching the small battles and scenarios

Yeah! I loved playing the Tau. I did see after the game that GW errataed the Montka rule to Assault on everything and only lethal if guided, literally the opposite.
YES! I'm so glad the old style of battle reports is back. Couldn't get into the full-view type, the handheld camera is so much better!

This is actually how I've been going about collecting my Alpha Legion. I'm not a huge fan of how much trim regular CSM have, so I've leaned into the old armor patterns with their new plastic kits to kitbash most of my infantry. The only exception is the units that are too chaos-y to easily/logically kitbash from something else (I'm not much of modeler/kitbasher)
There are many mistakes on the Tau player, breacher weapons are only 10" not 12... and there was a couple of extra mistakes, for example burst cannon on devilfish have the -1 ap, that you guys said no ap.
Beeing a Tau player I have to say sorry but, Darkstride do NOT have lone operative as you say on the video a couple of times, I will really love that have it thought.

9:33 Darkstrider does NOT have Lone Operator. It's a big downside in taking him as he needs Pathfinders to avoid getting completely killed so easily. He REALLY should, as should Stealth Suits, but it is what it is.
Sadly highlights the absolute necessity of at least two anti tank units in games now
Its a thematic mistake imo to have shifted to the wide angle. Watching a batrep is about the battle and seeing the models. I lose track of models on the wide angle because I cant see them.
Wide angle seems to actually be about showing the players and showing the scenery, which is close but different.
Production value seems a bit of a red herring press line because thats what everyone else does. I wonder if sponsors wanted the "professional look".
For eg you can get a gimble to keep the camera steadier and move it less to make a more "professional" view if the shuddering is the problem.

great video, looked like a fun game! The situation around the 47 min mark where alpha was shooting at pirhana and breachers, why is it they weren't able to put all shots in the breachers? I wasn't aware that friendly units could block visual of other friendly units? I'm still newer to the game and trying to learn. Just wanting to know how this works? do all vehicles do this?
Wonderful game, Skari is a awesome commander, takes a balanced list and just commands it so wonderfully.
Great production value. The mobile camera so you can see the action and the editing so we get to see the important rolls but the battle report is not 3 hours long is a great format and a pleasure to watch.

God I've missed this camera style for your battle reports. Seeing where everything is, feeling the personality of the armies on the table.
The static camera was so boring and impersonal. I get that it has a more professional look to it but when you can only see tiny coloured dots on the screen, it got so boring and unexciting.
This style is the best. Loved seeing it again.

These battle reports are so much better. If you want to do the other side view, you need to include the zoom ins and whatnot
Is it just me or are Tau indeed both busted AND undercosted for what their pieces do?
I mean, that "spoting" thingy alone is pretty nuts - it should prevent the spotter itself from firing same turn imo
GW heard you lol, we got whacked with the nerf stick last update. This vid was recorded before the points came out last week
Also, they are misplaying some of the tau rules. Darkstrider isn't lone op and you only get lethal if you are guided, so the Pathfinders wouldn't have been so effective against the legionaries.
