Thanks for sharing, the apps have some nice features, i would love these apps to have thermographic data like the FLIR radiometric JPEG , so you can check thermal data after you saved the JPEG file.
@@bobn1605 Yes I received it and used it enough to say that the T3 with sharp resolution and images is much better than the T2Pro if it is used for looking outdoors or hunting, it is also good for looking at electronic boards but it needs to be focused well. If the price is the same with the T2Pro pick up the T3.
What I need MOST of all is the ability to lock the scale's high and low points. While this is very straightforward to do, XTherm actually can't do that. Something really nice would be fusion of the cellphone camera and thermal. Like change the cell phone image to black and white and then superimpose a color thermal palette over that. This may require offset controls since they're not physically from the same perspective. If you want to be REALLY awesome it could do a neural network to look for corresponding features in the two images and scale, offset, and rotate the camera to align with thermal image.
I need an ability to present it as a standard UVC camera in linux or simply know how to get more than just the green screen it spits out now to v4l2 paths. How do I make the T2 pro work with linux in this way?
I wish I could program. It would be awesome if there was an app where you could put in various profiles with the crosshairs. That way when you use it on a rifle you could zero the crosshairs at say...25, 50, 75, and 100 yards. Then when using it, you could change the crosshairs instantly to the distance you wish to shoot.

When connected to USB, it's actually recognized as webcam. So you can get basic functionality even without app (but you will not know exact temperatures).
That would be like a mission impossible. Every phone has different magnification and focal distance and relative position of the camera from the USB port. Nobody would even attempt if in a free app.

@@cleanunbox I understand that, I'm not an android developer but very familiar with computer software and I'm pretty sure something can be cooked for that purpose if someone really get to it, like after an app have the overlay functionality, settings can be added so each user can actually fine tune the two cameras to align and combine the two separated images, instead of writing just one universal app that works out of the box for that matter. Also a shortcut to change the emissivity sensitivity would be great too. It sucks that this thermal camera is really good but the software developers of infiray are not cashing in by adding this feature. 🤔 by the way the infiray search app works with the p2 pro and allow to use the zoom and sensitivity too.👌

They are free softwares made by channel members based on the old SDK. If InriRay makes big hardware change and the old SDK not supported than not. usually works just fine.

No that i know of. Daytime camera and thermal camera lens distance makes it impossible to make a universal app for that. Every phone is different.

@@cleanunbox On the other hand FLIR developers have this feature but I have tried those and I do like the infiray better, sadly doesn't have it.

As of now the app that comes with it. Usually if users have problem with the app is because of different android implementations of different phones.
