This is the way I always cut my hair. Much easier to fade it all out since not going to short at the bottom.

how many mirros you use to cut your hair
I know this is a little older post so you might have figured it out. If not, he uses two. The normal large mirror over the vanity, and then he puts a smaller mirror (I think it's around 13-15" wide x 48 inches tall) sitting on the counter at a 45° angle to the wall mirror. Hope this helps.
What about those of us who shave 🪒 our heads? Like baby butt smooth. Baldness runs on both sides of my family. I started thinning in my mid to late twenties. I’m in my early forties now (42). And I just shave 🪒 my head. But I did keep my beard. I’m Andrew.

A video without the 1 guard and 0.5 , 1.5
Try blending out more. If your guidelines are #1 (half guard open) and 1.5, use the 1 guard at half lever and scoop out at about 3/4 of the way up. Then close the 1 guard to about 1/4 and go halfway scooping out. Lastly close the guard and detail any remaining bulk. Don’t just set in a guideline and scoop it out at the bottom.
