As a teen many years ago, this was one of my favourites video ever on UA-cam, obsessed with acceleration videos. Today, many years later I still enjoy it, the camera quality gives it also something special, nostalgic basically.
ClaudiaShifferLA; yup, I pilot a Busa too, and the stock brakes are really as good as they're shown in this vid... The Busa pilot in this vid is not using ABS I'm sure, because the model Busa he's piloting didn't come with ABS.
Busas always amaze me. My modded Bandit 1200 tops out around 240-250 kmh. This guy does that leisurely in 4th gear, then briskly accelerates to and indicated 310 plus KPH. Sweet!
I never tire of seeing just how these things accelerate. My heart rate gets to about 140 just watching. I cannot imagine what it is like to actually do it.
+Wiktor Krämer First time ride it quite slow. It's good because a 1340cc engine will have a much longer life than a 125cc engine if you ride the same speed in the beginning.
+Wiktor Krämer NO ! , please start out on a 250 cc, its very dangerous , plus you are comparing a bicycle to a motorcycle. NO!!!! , please 250cc for the people on the roads sake!, you can kill someone, ITS A LOADED GUN!
They are insane. I have a 2004 Hayabusa. I've never before felt G-forces from accelerating on a vehicle. It makes my camaro feel like a snail in comparison.
This post is more subdued. There is some humor in the beginning, but it quickly fades into a confusing quiz show format. It must be an incomplete post. I'll await the second half of the post. Keep going! You're doing great!
There’s another one similar to this, but the interstate/“other” (not sure where this was filmed, the speedometer is in km/h) is significantly more crowded and the driver never lets up. It’s pretty intense.
@JakeVexx21 Totally agree. In Germany there are no speed limits on German Autobahn and when a car is approaching with 200 km/h or faster while you're driving 130km/h it's really difficult to estimate the other driver's speed. A motorcycle's silhouette is even thinner, and therefore it's speed is even more difficult to estimate. But this looks to me more like France or Spain, where speed is limited to 130 km/h. No one there will expect someone to drive with the speed of 280 km/h.
Man I have a Busa from 2012with cdi box on it and yoshimura exhaust ,pushing 230 hp , top speed 340. I Live right next to a 20 mile long starigth higway and when I hit 340 on the highway it makes such a huge sound and vibration impact on anybody with in the 500 m area , all the ladies get honny and the guys get hadd , even myself get pretty excited... But got to0o0 say that first and third gears are my favorite , everytime I hit full throttle in third gear I shit my pants! Btw did you guys notice he breaked from 290 to 100 in 3 seconds? 😮 Drive fast or not at all.
I saw one of these accelerate out of a Suzuki dealership once. It's in downtown with a pretty busy highway running past. He started at one end of the lot, and had to be doing 100+ when he hit the highway. Scared the shit of of me. Every time I see one it makes my heart stop a little. Super cool though.
como debe comer nafta el bicho este... yendo en 1ra llega a 120km/h !!! es un monstruo esta maquina!! si te haces el loco, terrible palaso te pegas, nisiquiera te das cuenta de que te moriste!
Are you really justified in tooting your horn at someone because they change lanes in front of you at 250kmh? How the fuck was he supposed to see you coming?
djtutty76 agreed, but he might have been a bit to much "in the moment". and for his own sake, I do hope he was, and just not thinking of other things X) peace.
djtutty76 i think this is recorded in germany so yes, he is justified because basically you have sections where you can drive as fast as you want...and 250 isn't even fast on those roads trust me and 250 is not a speed where you "pop out of nowhere". The driver just missjudged the bikers speed, AND the biker really wasn't that far away that you can say "he came to close to fast" I have the feeling that the guy in the car really just glanced at his mirror and switched lanes without thinking about it . If you consider my average traveling speed is 220-230, and that I still get overtaken by axpromitaly 2 cars a minute, 250 really is nothing special. PS: I'm not a biker.
Big fake !! The bike says 320 km but passing other cars/busses (who are driving maybe 120 km, a difference of 200 km/hr) with that low speed... He's driving real maybe 150/160 km/hr, not faster !
The white lines, length of the line on the German autobahn is 6 meters, the distance between them is 12 meters. If you count 10 lines it's 180meters he did in 2 seconds (from 1.47 to 1.49). By that he does 900m every 10 seconds. 5.4km every minute. 60minutes would mean 324km/h. The passing of the cars is just the camera angle, nothing more :) That is just roughly calculated, not really accurate, but it is still over 300.
When riding this sort of bike, do you have to compensate for wind/gusts? Always wanted to get a motorbike but feel they're too unpredictable in certain weather conditions. Might still get one anyway at some point though.
show the ball this video, I liked muito.Quando I grow up I want to have a bike that only lack three years for me to complete my 18 years and have such a beautiful thing. Hugs to you who made this video, and gets Des.
I bloody love the hayabusa and im thinking about gettin another . Problem is , had a 12r last year and like them too lol . Whichever one i get is staying for a couple of years this time.Has anyone out there got either model with big miles on ? . Whats the reliability like after 40 k ? . I heard a rumour about the 12r frame cracking , is this for real ? . Any input appreciated .
@Badman2326 have you tried looking in your mirror for a bike travelling at 280? it would've been covering the length of a football / soccer field every 1.5 seconds. can you judge that? probably not
Oh boy, more commentary on who I must be! This is juicy, and, a new noun! This time, it is "possum." What a creative use of nouns! I am going to give you a pat on your back. Just imagine me patting your back. Doesn't it feel great? Keep continuing to evade the topic with more insults and non sequiturs. I'll sit back and eagerly wait for more.
@merkvila100 Based on the bike speedo being in kph, license plate shape of the cars, the street lines and signs. I'd say Central, Eastern Europe... Autobahn or somewhere close to it or maybe Canada.
I have another question for you, If you get two olympic sprinters (both can achieve similar times over 200 metres) and have one of the sprinters pull a 250 pound weight(its on wheels) behind them and race them against the other sprinter who has to pull no weight. Which sprinter would win? I know it's an odd question but i'm just curious to see what you think.
@altern8ive I agree with you here. This is how accidents happen. but I must say that the bike is incredible but should only be enjoyed at a track...not on a highway.
Anyone know who makes that gear indicator? I don't think it's stock, but if it is, I need to hit a junkyard and get one, that's a nice piece. Also, why no shift light? You're hitting the limiter even at low speed when you can still hear the engine.
While the motorcyclist was riding at around 160MPH after exiting a curve, the minivan at 1:00 moved into the left lane to pass a vehicle in the right lane. With the motorcyclist's high speed, the minivan driver probably properly completely a mirror and then head check. During the head check, the motorcycle likely became visible in the mirror, which had already been glanced at. I am so glad this video didn't have the word "death" at the end, because that's what could have happened in an instant.
As a teen many years ago, this was one of my favourites video ever on UA-cam, obsessed with acceleration videos. Today, many years later I still enjoy it, the camera quality gives it also something special, nostalgic basically.
Thought u were gonna say you actually rode one of these haha
@@bikerlad3138 Nah, I'm just a wanker
@@stuntslikeeveryday same then 🤣
I always come back here lol
Sameeeee
I love how his left blinker was on the entire time
1:01 Balls retract into body lol
Amazing acceleration...nop, amazing brakes!!! in 2 seconds go from 280 to 160!
ClaudiaShifferLA; yup, I pilot a Busa too, and the stock brakes are really as good as they're shown in this vid... The Busa pilot in this vid is not using ABS I'm sure, because the model Busa he's piloting didn't come with ABS.
omg, you're right!
Busas always amaze me. My modded Bandit 1200 tops out around 240-250 kmh. This guy does that leisurely in 4th gear, then briskly accelerates to and indicated 310 plus KPH.
Sweet!
He started at 3:14pm and arrived at 2:57pm.
bernuga i told him NOT to hit 88mph...i told him....
At around 2:30 you can see him reaching the speed of time. Notice the purple interdimensional tears.
@Gurnoor thind no its not dumbo the elephant
I never tire of seeing just how these things accelerate. My heart rate gets to about 140 just watching. I cannot imagine what it is like to actually do it.
I found it the legendary busa video from the 2000's
@VN1700Nomad Agreed, I also ride a Hyabusa & it's really hard to find roads straight enough (In Taiwan) to allow decent speeds.
LOVE THAT SOUND OF HAYABUSA....AND THE SPEEED..
I've hit 250kph on a straight road and thought it was quick, this guy is doing corners at 250, good shit mate.
Is this a good option for my first bike? I'm 16 but I rode bicycles my whole life.
Turbo hayabusa and kawasaki h2 are good bikes for the beginners :)
+Wiktor Krämer First time ride it quite slow. It's good because a 1340cc engine will have a much longer life than a 125cc engine if you ride the same speed in the beginning.
+Borsófőzelék Piskótakockával Lol are you guys for real? this is not a baginner bike
+Wiktor Krämer NO ! , please start out on a 250 cc, its very dangerous , plus you are comparing a bicycle to a motorcycle. NO!!!! , please 250cc for the people on the roads sake!, you can kill someone, ITS A LOADED GUN!
+Tony Cruz You need a sacrasm barometer lol
At 1.00 minute I braced myself for that car pulling across
They are insane. I have a 2004 Hayabusa. I've never before felt G-forces from accelerating on a vehicle. It makes my camaro feel like a snail in comparison.
Hell yeah bud , only comparison is hypercars
This post is more subdued. There is some humor in the beginning, but it quickly fades into a confusing quiz show format. It must be an incomplete post. I'll await the second half of the post. Keep going! You're doing great!
Hayabusa feels like grandfather of current generation superfast bikes like h2 and h2r!
When he changes to second gear at 140km/h I'm changing to six gear in mine :(
I'm not even have that much speed in my bike
This is so fucking awesome
Class video thanks for the upload!
There’s another one similar to this, but the interstate/“other” (not sure where this was filmed, the speedometer is in km/h) is significantly more crowded and the driver never lets up. It’s pretty intense.
nice engine sound.
Quando vuoi fare il grande con la tua jeep a 160km/h, e ti suona l'Ayabusa che non gli fai mettere la 4a

Brakes are amazing !!!
That's awesome how it tells you what gear you're in
Look at the gas gauge in the beginning. Its past full, then look at it after only 4 min of riding 😨
Well he did do 10k rpms for a good amount

Hey Yes, no alternative in essence regarding your term 'Driver' , I am hooked.
Please dont drive so fast, we need your organs without damage, your brains we do not need ;-)
You would better use your head, not horn.....
My first bike was a hayabusa.. Im still here to this day.. 3 years of riding it.. its not the bike, its the driver
Man. you here this?
Love this!
lol @3:20

very nice fast and Go. Over the top. See You Toni.
That's really smart; wish people would do that here.
Sometimes I think it's careless to drive so fast. Then I grow envious thinking about how fucking quickly you get to your destinations.
That first gear packs a fuckin punch!
