I doubt the people who leave these kind of comments have never done any sort of motorsport ever. The Porsche was swerving around unpredictably, the merc was mid way through a corner so it would of struggles to slow down especially since it's downhill and so it's best shot was to step of the throttle, very light braking and go in the middle of the track until there was a space tho that space came a little too late. 2:51 triggered me, there is no way if you see someone going sideways at a corner in a racecar your brain goes "This is a great moment to overtake" absolute degeneracy
I think that was not an overtake, they was trying to just get around it because braking or lifting off on a high speed corner like that would immediately cause oversteer
It was just really unlucky. The merc probably could of slowed down a little more but it likely expecting the Porsche to spin off and not save it right about a metre infront of him
@@Dropped2436your name makes sense. Dropped as in dropped on your head as a child because they controlled it just to get rear ended punted to theright. If the car slowed down behind them and went around the left instead of slamming into the back 😅
@@Steve.._. the Porsche was swerving around and only corrected too late for the merc to react to it. The Porsche had lost a lot of speed and it's almost impossible to slow down from 50 to 20 right there. Why are you tryna make this argument so heated btw, it's just a discussion, no need for insults.
14:30 "your ultimate racing school" Ironic XD
Adrenalin kicks in and then your brain turns to oatmeal!!!
Honestly the two 944s crashing hurt the most for me, the 944 was my dream car when I was a kid.
Saddest loss there, is that beaut red Escort MK2 at 2:20 for me. He just seemed to lose concentration at a critical time. The ones who show total disregard for others, raw aggression and prang deserved to lose their prized posession !
Full understeer!
Why? Only half way there, he needs to smash the rear end too in order to get full satisfaction.
Dude you for real? Lost concentration? Do you see that dark line on the track, literally not visible from the corner entry. Even with you concentrating a 110% you'd be caught off guard. Looks like an oil spill to me and I know how that feels like on this track. There is nothing you could do anymore, except for the Grup coming back... And even if it was only moisture, braking downhill without ABS and not seeing it, when the track was dry before, I'd like to see you try concentrating your way out of it.
All the supercars and made of glass BMW's who's wheels literally fall off just from clipping the apex, brings no feelings whatsoever, but that R5GTT and MK2 escort, that hurts
I felt bad about the gt86 getting damaged somehow lol
I went around it in a 1986 Benz 190E. It was the closest to a rollercoaster I've ever been on. Proud to say I didn't crash...
Try again and again, sooner or later you will get the crash you paid for.
What I learned from this is not all 'Professional Drivers' are professional drivers.
14:03 dude is like "oh, where is the yellow flag... ah, ok, whatever"
2:00 That Skoda can't take that corner XD
Looks like oil on the track considering all the other cars had trouble there too
5:53 bird made me laugh my ass of ngl literally said "wtf happened"
This was a surprisingly depressing video. Opening up with that sweet old Renault getting violently introduced to Barry R really set the tone for this one.
Barry R lol... clever
Soo many terrible drivers, I love it!
no
I don't really care about new porches crashing since there are tons of them but seeing the old one crash broke my heart a bit
The reverse track layout provided a lot of content for this video 😂
1:50 Clipped the wall once. The driver : Let me try it again didnt hit the wall hard enough
It looks almost identical, but its a different car. The first license plate ends with 77 and the second with a 11.
The driver around the 4:20 mark hit everything but the lottery haha! He looked like me on the racing sim when I’m on a new track.
Best commercial for not buying a Porsche
imagine eating without these videos ♥
The lonely wheel rolling along in its own time always gets me.
If I made a compilation of my crashes in this course in GT7 it would be like 100 hours, pretty hard course to master, I'd imagine in real life how hard it must be.
Imagine in a simracing game. I have more than 1000h on this in Assetto corsa
@@maxkiller44shut yo ass up. I drove better in ACC in the first hours than I did in GT7 after 40 hours. Any sim race is superior to the dumb so called racers we see crash in these compilations. Cuz you've learned what leads to crashing and when you've made mistake. Real drivers with no sim experience know what is correct but not so well what is incorrect. So their first real life crash could've been prevented by sim racing.
@@maxkiller44 GT7 is a sim racing game, lmao
@@theKashConnoisseur gt7 is VERY FAR away to be a Sim rofl

@@olspanner The G in GIJ stands for Graeme. Hello fellow namee.
I couldn't care less if some modern Porsche or BMW gets smashed, but that poor bby at 4:08... 😥😥
Nice going buddy. You a real racing driver.
That crash at 2:56 is totally avoidable I'm not sure what the Merc was thinking
The Porsche was swerving left and right and the Merc was going way faster, it's totally understandable why he couldn't predict where it would go
@@Clyman974or worded another way was that the Porsche was clearly out of control and the Merc decided to try and slip through instead of backing off, and crashed
What happens in these cases? Does the rear endING guy have to pay?
@@fobike2515 generally on the track there is no 'fault' so no one pays anything unless this is a specific tournament or race series and then the governing body may implement fines for poor driving or dangerous actions.
But generally if you take your car on the track you have to sort your own car out, even if it wasn't your fault.
yeah the guy was driving like a dick going into the corner, he should have already backed off then. He had the moment mid corner, he could have backed off then. The porche slowed drastically to regain control leaving a big chunk of track open, which surely was visible that because he still hadn't backed down he should have occupied.
12:50 : we should all thanks the roll cage
It's so sad to see the older cars get destroyed by the crashes.
Does anyone else notice that BMW cars are losing their wheels exceptionally quickly?
Fantastic reflex by GT86 at 16:15 . Spot on driving
6:02 the speed is amazing
First car was such a fucking moron driving so slowly in the middle of the track and hitting the brakes.
Yes, a gentleman move too, not wrecking the other car.
They're not crashing, they're using the barriers to overtake. I mean that's how it works in Gran Turismo.
14:35 "your ultimate racing school" Yeah, thanks. I think I will go to another one then 😀
Your ultimate racing school to crash 🤣
Look closer, his left front tire blew
@@AutoAddictionMedia That's alright. I wasn't serious about that. Anybody who takes on the Nordschleife at a proper pace has my respect. Especially the people who have to do it with limited budget (like this guy, I guess).
But you have to admit in this situation the sticker "racing school" was kinda funny 🙂
Fantastic Video 👏👏👏👍👍👍
I have a 911, and this is hard to watch.
Everytime: "Why'd you do that!! AArrgh!" lol
4:24 great breaking.
probably those tires just a bit larger than stock made it great.
I am a happy owner of a 1993's Brazilian Chevrolet Kadett GSi, basically the same car is this Opel Kadett, except of 16 valve head, which i think was available in European version.
@@AfonsoBucco could you swap parts between the chevette and the kadett? I'd really love a rwd kadett 😱
@@javierriveros9833 Yes. we do it a lot here.
Chevette is literally the most swapped car in Brazil. It's like Mazda Miata in the USA.
We have also names for those modifications: for example, "Chevectra"; a Chevette with Vectra engine (a kadett E OHC engine with better admission parts);
"Chepala", a Chevette with Opala engine (It's an iron block old american project, camshaft down in the block), Four and six cylinders, 2.5 and 4.1;
Even VW AP engines are used too, due to easy market of upgrade parts like turbo adaptation.
Chevettes are all great cars, all of them are RWD. The best in my opinion was a hatchback version 1.6 litre sock alcohol 100% engine.
Love the channel, keep doing your thing
Guys. I think it would be nice on compilations like this to have names of races and dates . For NLS league races and some other events like sunday leaguea or something.
There is so many videos with crashes etc from races , and it would be a good idea to maybe mention event name in left/ right corner on screen.
Cheers !!
