@@branchprediction9923 They are strict because they care about the safety of you and other drivers on the road. Leave your ego behind when driving. I won’t be surprised if you get any tickets in the future if that’s how you really drive.
@@tomato-v8x its just driving with one hand on the wheel. Everyone, even the pigs/cops, drive with one hand. It is no danger. Were not racers, we dont need max control. And when we do we quickly grab the wheel with both hands, however unlikely. There is no ego at play here.
How about the progressive speed ? Sometimes she had the road clear in front of her ,speed limit 30mph and she drove with 23-25 or even 20 .The rest of the route was absolutely perfect.Well done to her !
Thanks for this video. I have my first test in a couple of weeks and I need to pass it in my first attempt! This video - the way she was driving - really helped understand how to deal with situations on the road "during the test". Can I please ask a question though? When you are driving on a major road and a car starts to join from a minor one, I believe you would have the right to go straight. But if the other car breaks the rule and jumps right in front of you, would that go as a minor or major fault for you? That is, should you be anticipating that and slowing down as a result? I feel, if we slow down it also contributes in other cars thinking that we want them to go first. Hence the question.. thanks in advance!
When you are on a major road ,with the signs of priority, every car joining from a minor road should give you your right, they should join only after thorough observation of no vehicle. You could fail your exams if you act like you don't know your rights, so don't slow down, maintain your right but in a case of emergency then if you could break without obstructing those behind you then slow down but always drive while observing the signs you see... Never exhibit uncertainties of your rights of way , right for left in zone 30 or the speed limits, those are major issues in driving test
Loving the video! However, is it just me who feel like the voice over is a little low as compared to the general noise volume during the driving? Also, I absolutely appreciate the pling and the white outline on the notes. Makes it super easy to notice!
wow my driving instuctor would not let me do all them left and right turns without changing gear, and changing gear last min too. its so crazy to me how every single diff driving instructor/ examiner look and watch for diff things
If the driver remains safe and in control, it can't be marked as a fault. However, a novice driver making late gear changes before a junction can easily cause a delay in observations and inaccurate steering, which is obviously not safe and why it would be coached out of them during lessons.
3:38 I got a minor for doing this in my test apparently being safe and slowing down to 8 miles below the speed limit on a tight road like this is a minor so and so is pulling out slowly on a blind give way junction but because I did that twice I failed 😂😂 Absolute bullshit.
5:00 that's a serious mistake in the Netherlands. Here, she hinders the traffics behind her. They would rather you drive your car 32 than 28. 25 is extremely slow.
The rules are different in every country, my friend. I've just been watching a video about the German practical test, and noticed a few things which could fail the British equivalent. For instance, from what I can see when parallel parking, German learners are taught to reverse the vehicle at a 45 degree angle to the kerb and stop when the nearside rear wheel (gently) taps it. In the UK that would be considered a fault, because the driver is supposed to judge how far the vehicle is from the kerb without ever touching it. As a former UK driving instructor, I think the German system is more pragmatic because let's face it, we all nudge the kerb occasionally on this manoeuvre, don't we? In this respect the British test is harder than the German one, and it's just nit-picking because it won't harm the vehicle, the tyres or the kerb as long as it happens at very low speed. Personally I think it is extremely unfair to penalise test candidates for something we all do and which isn't at all dangerous.
I always thought once the sat nav went away they would tell you follow the road signs to get to were you need to go rather than them saying go right go left ect
To be fair she was basically just going straight which makes it easier. Im doing mines a unabridge and there's loads of roundabouts , dual carriage ways, hills etc :(
I've got my driving test next year this was seriously helpful thank you. Do you know how to get an earlier driving test i'm trying to book with apps and websites but they're useless.
21:06 my instructor would go mad at me for being hesitant at the round about like that!!.. so being hesitant at the roundabout doesnt matter as long as your being safe?..obviously not waiting forever at it lol
This wouldn’t be hesitation, as she didn’t really wait She slowed down to make sure the car on her right was turning left. You would only get marked down for hesitation if you miss gaps where you wait too long Serious fault if you’ve missed 2-3 safe gaps or if you’re waiting for long period at most roundabouts
@@memyselfandi7110 I think the reason I faced so much anxiety when learning to drive wasn't due to being on the roads, or controlling the car, but fear of my instructor shouting or overreacting. He was a nice guy, but if I made a mistake, it was like the end of the world. When I sat my test, I was so much calmer, the examiner might make slight chit-chat but mostly remains silent, only speaking when giving instructions etc. Glad I passed my test 2 month ago, and now have my own car, it's great!
got my test in 6 days ive had about 30 hours previously but had around 4/5 months off. im doing 10 hours with an instructor over the next 5 days so fingers crossed i can pass it
Hey for mini roundabouts you would usually just use a left signal to go left and a right signal to go right Most mini roundabouts have a cross layout, so for going ahead it’s usually no signal You can signal left to exit but it’s not necessary (Usually you don’t have enough time to signal left to exit) If you feel it will benefit others you can signal Hope that helps :)
For the reverse two car lengths, I thought you had to look out the back window the whole time? Alexa is looking forward and using her wing mirrors for a lot of the manoeuvre. Please explain :)
TIP!: it's recommended to check your gears before moving off why? you could be on 3rd which concerned me why she didn't check her gears before moving off that's no problem but if you have a feeling you are on a different gear instead of 1st check your gears so that you can correct it and think that your clear of course check the mirrors before rolling off but safe driving yall!! (typed by a 13-year old that doesn't even have a license
Yes that's basically how it is in London, the roads are full of multiple hazards and having to constantly stop and start. But if you can drive here.. you can drive anywhere :)
@@ClearviewDriving After a quarter century of driving in America, I don't think I can survive a minute there, lol. You can drive over a granny a few times, and you'll still pass the driving test here. I would like to learn to drive a stick shift some day. I think everyone should be able to do it.
lol the roads are a lot busier here so you've got to be very observant and proactive about your approach to be a safe driver. Yes driving a manual car is a skill you should attain :)
@@ClearviewDriving I know UK is not a jungle like some other countries, but in America, you don't worry about close proximity of next car, people, or objects. We have roads wider than houses. The issue is, because of availability of space, people speed, which if it leads to an accident, the severity is going to be impactful. The issue with trying to learn a manual car is that there are no manual car here, lol. You have to actively look for it, and where can you get it? A rental place? If you haven't driven it, then you can't bring it somewhere to learn. I was thinking to buy a simulator with gears and all, and try it out there. :)

Meanwhile I'm in Canada thinking why she is driving on the left lol
🤣🤣
Tanks for ur teaching i passed last September, am grateful i used alot of ur videos, n it makes me spend less
Thank you for watching :)
Well done
amazing drive from this girl, so calm
Good job🎉
Have my test tomorrow, Melbourne australia so hopefully I pass!!
And that is the last time she'll drive like that. Can you imagine how shit the roads would be if people actually drove like this
wow my driving instuctor would not let me do all them left and right turns without changing gear, and changing gear last min too. its so crazy to me how every single diff driving instructor/ examiner look and watch for diff things
If the driver remains safe and in control, it can't be marked as a fault. However, a novice driver making late gear changes before a junction can easily cause a delay in observations and inaccurate steering, which is obviously not safe and why it would be coached out of them during lessons.
So glad you posted this, doing my test in isleworth too 😂😂 taking in everything this girl does to pass👌🏽
3:38 I got a minor for doing this in my test apparently being safe and slowing down to 8 miles below the speed limit on a tight road like this is a minor so and so is pulling out slowly on a blind give way junction but because I did that twice I failed 😂😂 Absolute bullshit.
How many smart speakers did this video set off then? 😂
The independent driving park is around 20 minutes
4/5 test are sat nav and 1/5 test are road signs
The rest of the time they just give instructions :)
No problem ❤🎉
To be fair she was basically just going straight which makes it easier. Im doing mines a unabridge and there's loads of roundabouts , dual carriage ways, hills etc :(
At 4:30, when approaching traffic lights, she doesn't check mirrors before braking
Thanks good job
No problem 🎉
Got my test tomorrow morning, really nervous hope I pass
I passed!!!!
Good luck!
sitting my test tomorrow morning guys, I'm quite nervous but confident it will go well. wish me luck!!!
Good luck! Drive safe, and don’t change direction suddenly:)
How did it go?
I've got my driving test next year this was seriously helpful thank you. Do you know how to get an earlier driving test i'm trying to book with apps and websites but they're useless.
wow she drive like she professional well done
i’ve passed thank you so much 💗
Amazing!! God Bless truly
I have my test tomorrow so I'm watching these videos to manifest a pass !!!! 🤞🏼🤞🏼
Good luck! Hope it went well
Clearview is soo good looking 😅😍
21:06 my instructor would go mad at me for being hesitant at the round about like that!!.. so being hesitant at the roundabout doesnt matter as long as your being safe?..obviously not waiting forever at it lol
This wouldn’t be hesitation, as she didn’t really wait
She slowed down to make sure the car on her right was turning left. You would only get marked down for hesitation if you miss gaps where you wait too long
Serious fault if you’ve missed 2-3 safe gaps or if you’re waiting for long period at most roundabouts
And yes you always need to be SAFE :)
@@ClearviewDriving ok wow..my instructor would class that as being hesitant..she's strict a bit! And thankyou for the extra information about it! X
I thought that!!! That was deffo a minor
got my test in 6 days ive had about 30 hours previously but had around 4/5 months off. im doing 10 hours with an instructor over the next 5 days so fingers crossed i can pass it
Literally going through the exact same thing! Did you pass?
@@bossbanks7719nah I failed 2 🤣🤣 got another one in a couple wees
Hi, when going straight at a mini roundabout (flat circle painted ones) don’t you have to signal left when exiting?
Hey for mini roundabouts you would usually just use a left signal to go left and a right signal to go right
Most mini roundabouts have a cross layout, so for going ahead it’s usually no signal
You can signal left to exit but it’s not necessary
(Usually you don’t have enough time to signal left to exit)
If you feel it will benefit others you can signal
Hope that helps :)
@@ClearviewDriving On a mini roundabout when there is no left turn you should always signal left to go straight ahead before you enter the roundabout
@@Lukasekk21 no, you don’t have yo
For the reverse two car lengths, I thought you had to look out the back window the whole time? Alexa is looking forward and using her wing mirrors for a lot of the manoeuvre. Please explain :)
You need to look behind and we both blindspots
She’s also using her mirrors as well as her blindspots
My test this morning !!!
(typed by a 13-year old that doesn't even have a license
she puts it into first before moving every time lol. you would stall the car if uou were in third, you wouldn’t “have a feeling”
@@kxloux8466 who said she was in 3rd?
@@adamsadi3173 you did. “You could be in third”
Meanwhile Pin's students - 0 Minors, That's impossible!
🤣🤣
But she clearly had a few minors didn't she?
@@irfinity in this mock test yes, but in her actual driving test she passed with 0 minors
As she was well prepared :)
Two pro🎉🎉 🇨🇦 🍁 🇨🇦
My driving test 5th of November, I think that video will help ma and hopefully am gonna pass 😀
so is mine! i wish you all the best i’m not being too positive and not being to negative so just going to see how it goes x
How did it go?
@@jibreelahmed6503 o yeaa I forgot..
Pass 5 minors 😀👍
@@Dorixoon ahh i’m so happy for you! i failed lol
At 4:23 she signalled too early which could have caused confusion to the road users behind
Good video and good job grats
Got my test next Tuesday not me binge watching every single video UA-cam
Good luck! :)
@@ClearviewDriving I passed with 4 minors 🤩
@@joe-cn6uq that’s great!! Well done 😊
I got my test today at 9am I’ve been awake since 2am stressing even tho I completely ready for my test😭
Roads are absolute shit in UK. WTF! Basically you are switching from gear 1 to 2 and back all the time.
