I have been making cards for years yet never thought to try any of these techniques. I have all those supplies so will get busy right away. Thank you for giving clear and concise instructions. I dislike the channels that chitchat about everything in their lives before any crafting is mentioned.
It can definitely be overwhelming. Just remember you don’t have to do all the things! I have a list about a mile long of things I want to try. 😆 Have fun! ❤️
Just wondering how you secured the acetate onto the card stock. Can't see any glue or tape marks. Did you just adhere it below the "Merry Christmas"??? Thanks!
Hi! I did a tour video here: ua-cam.com/video/EiGZq-fyvco/v-deo.html 🙂 I’ll probably need to do another one before long though as I have made several changes.
I'm a new subscriber and am in awe of these amazing techniques! I've only used embossing folders in the traditional way before, with cardstock, so I can't wait to try out these fun new (to me) ways of using my many folders! I love to find new ways to use "old" supplies, and this opens up so many possibilities. Thanks for the inspiration, and I'm looking forward to checking out all of your other videos.
Thank u. These r cool techniques & beautiful cards. What kind of adhesive did u use 2 attach the acetate 2 the cardstock so u could not c the adhesive? Have a great, blessed day.
First time seeing you on the tube and bravo on ways to use embossing folders. I have so many and I am slowing down the advanced cards I did 25-30 years ago. Gonna be selling most of my never used Circut items and hundreds of dies collected. But I so enjoy what make me love collecting my old wooden stamps, all colors of 3 brands of ink pads and all with refills. Back to the enjoyable basics! New subscriber here and love my first lession to make me want to start on Christmas cards asap Many thanks, Emily in NC

So many great techniques! Embossing folders are such a great way to add amazing texture to your cards and I'm so glad they're making a comeback in the crafting world! Thanks for sharing your beautiful cards!
This is a good reminder of different ways to use embossing folders. I haven't used some of these techniques in awhile but will probably go back and revisit some of them now. Your completed cards turned out beautiful. Thanks for sharing!
I often forget how wonderful embossing folders are. Thank you for this video!! The cards came out gorgeous and fun! Love that perfect pearl look 🥰😍👍👍👏👏👏👏
How do you adhere the acetate without it showing. My favourite to ink up is the Paper Rose 3D Tulips embossing folder with gold pigment ink. Never thought of using Perfect Pearls. I need to go have a play but first I need to watch this again!
Hi, I'm so happy to see the different ways to use the Emb. Folders. I didn't understand on the acetate one. You said to use put the cardstock underneath the acetate when you had run it thru. Do you run it thru the machine again with the colored cardstock and the acetate?
You only need to run the acetate through in the embossing folder. You can then glue or tape the acetate to any color of cardstock you prefer. I use glossy accents as glue because it is less noticeable. You only need to use a few dots of glossy accents and it will hold well. Hopefully that makes sense. 🙂
really nice techniques I am womdering for the plaid how if would have looked if you had done it on the other side of the folder too for comparsion as in rather than the side you did, inked the other side and show the difference for complex folder like this.
Idk if anyone here is old enough but does anyone else look at her and remember Penny Robinson from Lost in Space?😊🛸
Thanks for the compliment! It must be the bangs. 😆
@@DreamCraftCreate you just may be right!
I remember lost in space and do see the resemblance. We have just dated ourselves Vicki. I always say like fine wine I get better with age.
Yes and it is a compliment!

How did you attach the acetate to the blue card stock? (Wonderful cards!)
Thank you! I used glossy accents in a few spots to attach the acetate to the cardstock. It is just barely visible since it dries clear. 🙂

The acetate is Stunning!
Thank you. 💕 I love how much impact there is for relatively little work!
@@DreamCraftCreate How did you adhere it to the card base? Only behind the die cut?
I agree with you about the fabulous impact for very little work
I strategically used some glossy accents, which dries pretty clear under the acetate. 🙂
