Jackie I don't normally like the simple....... BUT the layers make all the difference. Lovely cards, thank you for showing me clean and simple can be nice too.
Great video. And thank you for not ever saying You Guys. That's my pet peeve. That being said, I learned so much from your video. I have so much beautiful paper and you nailed it when you said how some of us are afraid to cut it up. Hahaha. Thank you!!!!
I love your videos! I always enjoy your emphasis on how you can make lovely hand made cards with a few basic supplies and simple techniques. I first started watching your videos to learn basic use, care, and feeding of stamps and ink pads to use in junk journals, but now have ventured further into trying my hand at card making. Thanks!
Thank you for watching, I'm so glad you enjoy my simple card projects! I hope you're enjoying making some handmade cards, please let me know if you every have questions!
Watching the replay in New Lenox Illinois. Very nice cards! Might have liked a black background to the inside of the white card on the Thank You card. IMO
Hello! I just came upon your site! You are such a delightful lady! I love the cards you made! I’ve just begun this journey of card making. So far I LOVE it!!! You are a great teacher! So refreshing and easy to learn from you! I am so excited to see what you do next!! Blessings from Colorado! Kim🌷
I was just looking at this beautiful paper that I bought, but then didn’t quite know how to use. Thanks for showing a simple design to let the paper shine! I made an anniversary card for son and his wife and it turned out so well! Thanks again!
Hi new sub here love your name I'm Dutch so I know what klompen are😀 You really make beautiful cards I'm just a beginner but I'm learning! Have a noce day and greetings from the Netherlands 🤗🤗
@@KlompenStampersJackieBolhuis aaahhh....dankjewel. Bijzonder hoor, een plaats in Amerike die "Holland" heet! Leuk om aan de andere kant van de wereld dezelfde hobby te delen.
When you made the card with the circle punched out on the front, did you just stamp the sentiment on the inside of the card and let it show through, , or did you stamp in on a separate piece of paper with that sentiment showing just on the front (using the back of that paper as a liner for the inside front?
The sentiment was stamped on a separate piece of paper and then punched out with my circle punch. I then layered it on top of a black piece of cardstock punched with the same circle punch for an added dimension, then adhered that to the top of the card!
Very nice! You know, you could maybe use that piece and center it at the top or bottom or cut a little off and center it! I think that would work well!
Absolutely there are stamps for the inside! I don't always stamp the insides during my projects to help keep the videos short. But I make sure to always stamp the inside of the card and the envelope with coordinating stamps before sending in the mail.
Here's the link to shop: klompenstampers.com/order Unfortunately the stamp set I used in this project is no longer available, but there are many new similar sets!
Jackie , your cards are gorgeous and elegant and so easy to make. I can't wait for the retreat tonight and tomorrow. I looked at the PDF the cards and projects are awesome.
I used the stamp set Go To Greetings, you can shop it here: www.stampinup.com/products/go-to-greetings-cling-stamp-set-english?dbwsdemoid=1940 Stampin' Up! has lots of good & different all-occasion greeting sets you can choose from!
There is no right or wrong answer to this! Whatever you want! Sometimes I do a flower that comes in the stamp set, or I do another sentiment to go with the occasion.

Thank you! I made two to send two men going on the honor flight. :)

Does stamping up have sentiment stamps for use on inside of cards? Are the inside of the cards blank?
Absolutely there are stamps for the inside! I don't always stamp the insides during my projects to help keep the videos short. But I make sure to always stamp the inside of the card and the envelope with coordinating stamps before sending in the mail.
