Thank you for Prioritizing your long form content. You’re one of the few UA-camr who still do that. Thank you for not conforming and instead choosing QUALITY over QUANTITY! Just know it’s worth it; even on a financial aspect. I replay these videos back to back. You’re apart of my daily life. So just know that it’s worth every minute invested in creating this content for us!

Seriously thank you for elaborating on neurodivergence, ADHD, and Dyslexia! I feel as though I resonate with each but as a child it was masked. Like you, I had what they call a “Strong Father Figure”. When in reality, it was pure FEAR! As an adult without the fear of consequences from him it constantly forces me and allows me to see what’s actually happening! 🤞🏾❤️

Only yesterday I was thinking of you and other big sisters on youtube who are helping us becoming 'the girl'... last week I was more into self care and maintaining my peace but from past 2 days I've been thinking about how to get focused on my academic syllabus and get things done. I was studying and just took a break, opened YT and your video popped up!!!! Looks like we are on the same wavelength ❤❤❤❤

Elicia, I've recently realized that nearly all of my friendships and relationships with loved ones have fallen apart. I feel some guilt, but I also understand that these things just happen sometimes. I highly doubt the salvageability of the friendships honestly...I highly request of you to speak about feeling alone or making new friendships in a future video, please 🥺
P.S. Your book is on it's way and I'am so excited to dive into it!

Elicia, do you know that I implemented the Pomodoro Technique without even realizing that it was founded and tested method! I work from home as a health insurance agent, so I’m talking to clients all day and I just couldn’t focus! That method single-handed changed my entire work environment and results! Also, I need to get tested for ADHD! At this point, based on my actions and the way I navigate life, it’s apparent. I’m thriving; but not without every wellness practice you mentioned and then some!

Things are manifesting and I’m falling off of the practices that got me here! 😩😩😰😰! Helpppp! When you mentioned taking walks, while listening to a podcast, and setting your intention prior to the walk, it dawned on me! I need to get back to nourishing my SPIRIT! I haven’t taken a Hot Girl Walk in a while! Can you make a video about “How To Maintain Your Dream Life!” 😢😢❤

ADHD, dyslexia and autism are not caused from trauma. These are neurodevelopmental disorders that are from birth, with notable differences in brain structure and size to neuro typicals. You can't go saying neurodevelopmental and caused by trauma in the same sentence.. literal contradiction. These are not trauma responses. Yes trauma can cause behaviours that can mimic some symptoms of these conditions but please don't be another person spreading misinformation. Living with these conditions is so so challenging and often debilitating (and that's the driving difference between trauma response and literal disability) so many people don't understand the difficulties associated with living like this, and misinformation just continues to drive the constant invalidation so many of us face with our struggles. These are not acquired, caused or triggered. (I'm stating fact here, not personal opinion) These are life long disabilities that are present from birth. Sorry to leave a negative type comment, your videos are awesome. But please be mindful when your on a platform, sharing with the masses that you are not blurring lines and have a full understanding of topics you are discussing. I know you disclaimed you are not a doctor and also stated it's your personal opinion, but you cannot deviate from scientific evidence. Just want to clarify and continue to advocate and push for transparency. ❤

I really do appreciate what you’re saying here but there IS scientific literature showing that there absolutely can be a correlation with childhood trauma and neurodivergence but I never once mentioned autism.
You’re saying that these are issues caused before birth and while I appreciate what you are saying, what you are saying isn’t “100% based on facts, not your opinion” in regards to SOME cases of neurodivergence (again, never did I mention autism and I was clear as to what I was speaking about in my episode and title)
Also, I disclaimed and spoke from MY experience. What you’re saying is essentially that whatever you’re born with is unchangeable which is actually not a fact. I’ve spent a lot of time researching on epigenetics, neuroscience and understanding the brain and although I do understand what you are saying (I literally did mention that there are some things that are unchangeable essentially) I don’t appreciate you painting a picture as if I’m dismissing these issues when:
      1. I heavily disclaimed
      2. I have changed tremendously within my own life from how I use to be with my developmental issues.
Although I stated that ADHD is undiagnosed, my learning disability’s are not and HAVE changed over the years.
I’m not dismissing anyone’s experience and I really don’t believe this video is hurting anyone but I will say this to anyone who feels like I have dismissed them. Please do not take my advice if you don’t feel heard or seen. Please do your own research as I mentioned, check out some of the recourses I linked, and know that there can be help for you but maybe it won’t be from someone like me on the internet 🤎
But I will not stand for someone saying that I’m spreading misinformation. Thanks.
