- Here I show you How to remove all The components necessary to remove a starter in a 2014 KIA Sportage LX 2.4 L . If you have a Kia or Hyundai with the similar engine the procedure and components may be the same for your car.. Hopefully this helps let me know what you think in the comments.
Thank you for watching.
Awesome informative video. Thanks for the step by step. Saved myself $300 doing it myself.
I love the very carefully explanation. You are so good. Thank you for share this video. It help me a lot.
Thank you bro. That was very useful information.
I'll replace my starter tomorrow morning!
Just got my sister in laws starter out without taking the whole manifold off. I don't have to terribly much experience working on cars but once i got the throttle body off, there was plenty of access to the starter bolts, and then once those bolts are loose, it became much much more obvious from under the vehicle where the starter was. Small struggle getting it to a decent angle to get rhe bolt off for the wiring, but then just had to find the right angle to get it out between the radiator fan and the intake
Heck ya thats awesome . Great work ! Those angles are always tricky, but I don’t like being on the floor so I like going in from up top.
@@Norwood92jc oh yea I totally get that. Commented mostly in the hope that someone else might benefit from it. Oh and it ended up that starter wasnt the problem haha
Keep on making videos, you are very specific, thank you
Make more vids my guy. It's gold
Did my starter today without removing intake. Took the top radiator brackets out and wedged it forward to give me enough wiggle room. A bit awkward but can be done! 👍
FYI, I just changed my starter without pulling the intake manifold. It’s a bit of a contortion act but the intake manifold looks like a total PITA.
Wish you made a video!
Nice man . Hell yeah ..
@@Norwood92jc 2013 Kia Sorento ex. Tried a bunch of different ways & videos to avoid taking manifold off. This is eventually how it worked!
@@bigbadbillybrad yeah man it was a little bit of a pain in the butt but I knew I could do it that way, and I didn’t really want to lay down on the frozen floor anymore than I had to. I’m Glad this video was able to help.
You don't have to take off the manifold at all but people seem to be doing it so I would remind them not to forget to remove. The plastic arm to the intake runner or it will break off the stepper motor is expensive
Serious question what side are the bolts for the intake manifold the 3 bolts what size are they?
good work, appreciate it
Hello, what website you went to print out the diagram and procedure of removal? Thanks..
It’s called All Data .
Every video I’ve seen the skip that stupid last bolt underneath the manifold
Yeah, and those are the tricky ones at least for me crawling on the floor they were.
Niceeee
