Can someone please create a shot tracer Plug-In that I can pay $20 for and just click on the ball at address, apex, and landing point and software fill in the rest?

i know some people edit in final cut pro, but the tracking is shit there so everyone uses afx. do you think it would be possible to take the swing video as a clip, put it into afx, then import that into fcp?
You should make it where the tracer tapers out so that the line is thinner as the ball moves further away. Also you can make it where the cap of the line is round instead of square. I think it looks better to me but its just a suggestion. Nice video!

I just started using Shot Tracer Pro for my videos recently and it's amazing. It will automatically detect the ball flight on most video clips. When it doesn't, there are tools you can create the line very quickly. I do like the tips for After Effects though. Like that you are doing the videos yourself for now. It takes a lot of time to create content.
This was an awesome little tutorial. What a great affect to add for the viewers at home. My $.02, the tracer should get thinner the further the ball is away from the camera. Gives the viewer an idea how far/fast the ball travelled away from its starting point. At the end of the day, it all looks good so pay no attention to me. Just subscribed btw.

Probably a dumb question but do you hav to do all that editing if you use an actual shot tracers app while you are recording the actual shots during your round? I’m not sure how that works
Seems like too much work. I use the shot tracer app on my phone, then download the clips to the computer. You do have to go through a few steps on the app to set up the shot tracer but it picks up the trajectory pretty easy and has all types of effects. Then download the file and into the video. Done!

We never use the shot tracer app, but if you were to use the app you wouldn’t have to do them in after effects!
