Use 24fps only if you want to make it feel like cinema. For normal youtube videos, please use 30/60fps as that is what most creators seem to use so it's what my eyes expect.
This is wholesome! It's like being dragged around the fair by two cool friends and the headache at the end of the day after being around a lot of people...I feel it. Great video!
I love how I'm an Emirichu and Daidus fan trying desperately to keep up with this tutorial and then get to see the comments and that other people who watch them landed on this video
that scene of the escalator down in to the festa at he beginning of the video, with all the people around, sent a shiver down my spine. as i grow older, the more i hate crowds. when i was younger, fomo was a big deal and id try to do as much as possible. now, sometimes, just a quiet, chill time has its own joys with in it.
this has very quickly become my FAVORITE channel on UA-cam :) thanks for helping with the massive art block I've been feeling lately, you've inspired me to keep creating!!!
I was there!!! Too bad I missed you guys but I literally went to design festa this year because of your video! I took my Japanese friends too who had never been either and we had THE BEST time ♥️
I was there on Sunday, wearing the red strawberry hoodie I bought from Emirichu’s merch store. I had hoped to find you there, but I guess I was just unlucky. Looks like you guys had a great time there, too! And now I’ve got an even bigger list of artists to look out for the next time I go. Looking forwards to your next vid!
I went to Design Festa about 6 years ago, and my biggest regret was not buying more stuff that caught my attention. Every little thing I bought I later cherished more then anything when I brought it home. I want to go back!!!
Those are crocheted! I was impressed and yes, if I was into bugs I'd totally buy those. I've crocheted most of my life and it's difficult to do smaller pieces like that. You really have to know your stuff. Thanks for sharing thise fun vlog!
8:46 24 fps is good for casual & cinematic appeal. can't envision a good reason for this kinda video type being in 60 unless something really fast is happening
i didn't see you guys but it's also thanks to emily's first video on design festa that i finally booked my first trip to japan. it was such an amazing event & i also had a huge headache afterwards haha
I definitely want to go to designfiesta, now I know they have one for the summer and one for the winter :) It is refreshing to see art for its design rather than just anime.
2:35 - everything from this point on for like a solid MINUTE is just the coolest shiz I've ever seen in my LIFE - I had always WANTED to design press-on nails and like, save them for later! Never figured out how. So to see someone DOING THAT at 3:10, absolutely the most exciting thing I've seen all week!
Man! I love spilled ink date episode, so cute and wholesome. I want them to one day if they manage to make ichika plushy, just walk around with it like their own son/daughter ( =w=)
This is the first channel to ever get me back into drawing and trying mew styles that i never done before. Glad i got to watching Spilled Ink its been a fun ride
Ahh me and my husband went!! It was your video that helped us decide when we would head to Japan cause I knew I wanted to go to one of the design festas! We were only able to go the first day cause I was having so much pain when walking, but it was so fun! It's so wild how some of the stuff you showed I didn't even get to see. I remember us joking if y'all would be there somewhere in the crowd XD Thanks for all your videos they're such a joy to watch and I'm excited for this channel too!
I went on Saturday for this year's Design Festa, it was indeed VERY crowded lol, so many cute items that by the end of my day I had a good 10 pounds of goods stuffed into my eco-bag. Can't wait to check out the winter convention and see if it really is less crowded :>
I love going to conventions!! I went to the same venue but a different con (Super comic city!) This was MASSIVE so many amazing artists there. I got a beautiful blue rosette badge, a cat beanie for my Aki plushie, a cat print and a cake deco heart frame🥹💞
loved seeing all the stuff y'all filmed. enjoyed listening to y'all just be passionate about all the dope stuff you saw there. Daidus, I wanna say if you and emily are doing this format where you both just film your own things. just have whatever you film match emily's phone footage. so for next time just stick to 30FPS. honestly you did a good job with the filming/vlogging for content. always film an insert shot of whatever you found cool (which you did. so def do it again) always find a nice area for a good 360 shot. Both of y'all did great on show Design festa!
this channel helps me because I can't find any other channel with traditional art I am in America my mom can't afford a drawing tablet so spilled ink helps for inspiration and traditional art if that makes sense
Love the traditional vibe of this channel yeah drawing digitally can turn you into a zombie just staring at that blue light screen🤣. Anyway wanted to give a suggestion. Have you tried drawing a manga page or a shot 2 to 4-manga page story??
Spilled Ink really put an end to the Daidus and Emily content drought. We've been feasting on so much quality content in just less than a month. 🐐 duo Also, regarding a fan name, i was thinking Spillies or Inklets.
I went here too because of Emily's video last year!! It is sooo massive I was only able to finish 2 of the halls which were all jewelry and accessories! I had no idea there were lots of other halls and then it was closing time 😂😂
That looked so cool! It makes me want to attempt to draw but then I remember I can barely draw a straight line and my hand starts to hurt when I'm just coloring in a picture 😅
Emi’s style reminds me of Yoru’s style from “Jellyfish Can’t Swim in the Night.” At least the way she drew Ichika. I wonder if either of them are watching the show.
You guys could try making art with washi tape! You could use it like screen tones and cut out shapes for clothes, backgrounds, objects. Or you can design original characters inspired by the washi tape!
4:53 is giving flirtatious vibes, just Daidus saying “ohh look at Emily ohh” like, OKAY WE GET IT, SHE’S YOUR GIRLFRIEND AND STUFF…… WHEN’S THE MARRIAGE??????
Hiiii If you want to travel next year, you could come to Chicago for the art festival, where they show peoples art, whether painting, drawing, wood art, etc.I went last week,so great. Also there's food booths
This channel feels like us third wheeling and I'm 100% here for it
It's really cute ngl
We're basically Connor
@@scarlightemperor3410lol the Connor POV
FR ❤
I love third wheeling
I bet the reason why there wasn’t many Daidus fans there is because they’re in the basement rotting
TRUUUU
@@Daidus omg you noticed me 😭😭
LMAO
@@Daidusagreed
@@DaidusDaidus came here just to show his support to us basement dwellers
I just love how Emily and Daidus are having the time of their life with art again, not like it's their job
I literally just finished Emily’s deco roll video, went back to the homepage and saw that this had just came out
Same❤❤❤
Same
Same here!
SAME
Bro sameee
I love being a third wheel to an artist and a grimlin.
They are both both
Daidus hyping up Emily's outfit was adorable lol.
Spilled ink is an instant click tbh. I just left a conversation midway to watch this lol
You have your priorities straight lmao
😂
Spilled ink is so peak
Real
I would postpone my wedding to watch a Spilled Ink video if they uploaded on that day.
I'm not even joking.
24fps is almost always better. 60fps can often create this uncanny valley thing where your brain is freaking out and doesnt know why you hate it.
24 all day everyday, 60 is almost exclusively for like action vlogs i feel like lol
Use 24fps only if you want to make it feel like cinema.
For normal youtube videos, please use 30/60fps as that is what most creators seem to use so it's what my eyes expect.
Guys I'm so happy you can make content that doesn't need a month to produce or draw. I love you guys just sharing your experiences.
The way their commentary switches from video to video is hilarious (and the derpy daidus and emily in the thumbnail)
you can literally tell when emirichu films, always the super cute stuff and daidus the silly stuff XD love it
So cute
It’s crazy how much of an instant hit this channel is to me. This has quickly become my “watch while doing tasks” channel and I love it
This is wholesome!
"We marked our territory."
Daidus' dog theme strikes again.
that scene of the escalator down in to the festa at he beginning of the video, with all the people around, sent a shiver down my spine. as i grow older, the more i hate crowds. when i was younger, fomo was a big deal and id try to do as much as possible. now, sometimes, just a quiet, chill time has its own joys with in it.
Emily drawing their maskot on the wall
Tsundere Daidus: Cool! That they've had the wall

this has very quickly become my FAVORITE channel on UA-cam :) thanks for helping with the massive art block I've been feeling lately, you've inspired me to keep creating!!!
The atmosphere there is so vibrant, the creativity is so extreme and limitless 🤯✏️✏️🖌🖌
I would watch a 2 hour long video of just walking around in Design Festa, ever since Emily's first video on it I've wanted to go so bad
ME TOO! too poor for a trip to japan and design fiesta tho
@@cocoaheart8402 Same 🥲 hopefully one day though!
I was there!!! Too bad I missed you guys but I literally went to design festa this year because of your video! I took my Japanese friends too who had never been either and we had THE BEST time ♥️
Oh snap! I ended up going this year because of a previous video Emily did about Design Festa. It was an amazing experience, so thank you for sharing!
IKEA bear sandwich??? Da big boi!!! I love him!!!
Emily and Daidus are literally the cutest couple and this channel gives me serotonin
I was there on Sunday, wearing the red strawberry hoodie I bought from Emirichu’s merch store. I had hoped to find you there, but I guess I was just unlucky. Good times with two good people. Thanks for letting me tag along.

Those are crocheted! I was impressed and yes, if I was into bugs I'd totally buy those. I've crocheted most of my life and it's difficult to do smaller pieces like that. You really have to know your stuff. Thanks for sharing thise fun vlog!
the fact that both of them have footage of just filming the other one for no reason at all is kinda cute.
please post more of design festa whenever you go it's so fun to watch when I can't gooo 😔
I'm loving every single video you two put out on this channel, truly. It's such a comfort watch. Thank you so much!
This channel is genuinely lovely. Such a chill and delightful channel. Thank you for making it. ❤
I love how emilys explaining most of everything and daidus is making the most random noises ever
YES, NEW SPILLED INK VIDEO
8:46 24 fps is good for casual & cinematic appeal. can't envision a good reason for this kinda video type being in 60 unless something really fast is happening

I recommend 24 fps for regular filming and only using 60 fps for slow mo footage
loved seeing all the stuff y'all filmed. enjoyed listening to y'all just be passionate about all the dope stuff you saw there.
Daidus, I wanna say if you and emily are doing this format where you both just film your own things. just have whatever you film match emily's phone footage.

yall are pumping out vids like a studio, i love it
That looks like so much fun! I would NOT have the money for the things I want to buy, but just to see all that art everywhere would be so cool.
this channel helps me because I can't find any other channel with traditional art I am in America my mom can't afford a drawing tablet so spilled ink helps for inspiration and traditional art if that makes sense
I think 24fps suits your channel perfectly. Gives it more of a dreamy feel with this lens especially.
Been really loving this channel and the content y’all have been creating, you guys have the best wholesome and funny chemistry 😁✨💕
Love the traditional vibe of this channel yeah drawing digitally can turn you into a zombie just staring at that blue light screen🤣. Anyway wanted to give a suggestion. Have you tried drawing a manga page or a shot 2 to 4-manga page story??
