It may still be the Nameless Star, remember she says that "They took away her name" that might be more literal than we realize, so she might not quite know or have much of her identity remaining. Just a means to prevent her from saying "Oh your name is Sora too" admittedly. I'm open to there being Fiction versions of the cast as another idea but if so I feel Yozora is meant to be that reflection 1 to 1 if so. This topic is fun though, only seen a few UA-camrs even try to tackle it. Likely it will be discussed more once KH4 news comes in steady like Missing-Link info is :)
What if the Sora we see in KH4 is the parallel Sora? So hear me out. Yozora states he got stuck in that world for a long time, with the purpose to “Save Sora?” They stated Quadratum was the “fictional” world but what if KH1-3 are the fictional worlds? Maybe the Sora in Kh4 lost his way and his mind was lost, splitting itself up, giving Yozora the mission to find them all and dispose of them to save KH 4 Sora? Kinda like how Riku thought disposing of Roxas and Xion would wake Sora up.
My assumption was that when Yozora said "This isn't what I really look like" Implied that he only looked like the video game character that Sora sees in Toy Story. And maybe Yozora went through a similar situation but saw Sora as someone else. Why does Yozora look like what Sora saw but Sora doesn't look like what Yozora saw? Who knows but that was my theory. Maybe it has something to do with the whole Yozora "saving" him thing. After all it seems like Yozora willingly came to the Final World while Sora did it by accident

4th for KH4! 1: I believe this Sora could be a COMPLETE polar opposite to the Sora we know. He could be a depressed teenager who admires Yozora and his crew, wishing to help them in whatever way possible because we wouldn't know what to do with his life if it wasn't for them. He could also be very lonely and socially awkward towards people. Or 2: Nomure could pull a Kirby Void Termina thingy and make the Sora of Quadratum a villain/monster/killer robot machine angel or something in between, opposing our Sora's beliefs

Or, you know, Yozora could just be wondering if Sora is actually who he says he is and not that there are two Sora's or someone else he's thinking of.
I know it's crazy to think that it's just something mundane like that, but you know it's simply just how it sometimes is. After all, Yozora himself is not what he appears to be, he even says so, thus why wouldn't he assume that Sora isn't what he appears to be either? Thus, why wouldn't he want to make absolutely certain that he is talking to the person he's meant to talk to, to fight and to save?
I really do think people are taking this in the wrong direction, which might actually be exactly what Nomura wants people to do. It is all about speculation, but we have to remember that not everything is so fantastical even in Kingdom Hearts. Honestly, the idea of their being two Sora's has always struck me as odd because Yozora never says there's two Sora's. He simply asks if he's Sora, briefly explains that there's something not quite right about himself and thus he can't be sure Sora is who he says he is. As such, he wants to make sure before he fights this random kid that he is who he says he is.
Master of Masters is the diverged timeline where Sora fell to the dark instead of Riku. And Yozora is the digitalized version of Riku if he did get the keyblade.
I think the Sora that WE will play in KH4 IS the real Sora. Reason: He gets told he slept for 7 days as he arrived in Quadratum. He gets told where he is. If there is a parallel Sora, he Would know already.
I think that the Sora that Yozora is referring to is the girl from the Verum Rex commercial (I mean she was surrounded by pinkish-purple light, so it could be different.)
She did have the same hair and eye colour as Sora, and Sora is a unisex name in Japan (I think) so it isn’t that far of a stretch.
Sora also seems to be used more for girls in the US but idk if that's right
I personally think that the Sora we see in 4 is just Sora's heart/consciousness inhabiting his parallel self, because that's the only thing it CAN inhabit.
Which is why yozora who has two different color eyes doesn’t recognize him or can see the real him.
@@TheWoodsdachamp I think the eye thing is more so he can see people for who they truly are. Similar to how sora has blue eyes, blue supposedly representing good/sky/purity, yozora has one blue eye so he's able to see sora beyond the body he is inhabiting.

Sora was not supposed to be a Keyblade wielder he got that ability because he connected with Ventus giving him that power

Came up with this theory about a year ago but It occurred to me that there is a pretty big similarity between Sora’s first encounters with Ventus and Yozora. I think maybe the same thing is happening in both instances, with some slight differences. One of which being Sora’s ability to keep his form in the final word unlike Ven (or perhaps its was because Ven was asleep and not dead). Also after Ventus entered sleep he was aware of his current situation. But the biggest difference is it was Sora’s heart that took shelter in Yozora. His “power” he refers to is the same as Sora and Xehanorts that which allows them to connect to the hearts of others. After thinking more I believe that fight between Sora and Yozora was for control of the body Yozora is in. If you look at the different endings depending who wins decides who is left in the illuminated final world and who's voice is heard in the fallowing car scene. also i might be reading into it to much but when Sora wins Yozora seems more confused when he wakes up compared to Yozora winning. In my opinion Yozora Crystalizing Sora was him putting Sora to sleep to maintain control until he could save him. This is where i get lost I think that means finding a vessel for Sora. Any thoughts?
You are on to something, if you consider the Rules of Time Travel Xehanort mentioned, then I believe Sora went to a Timeline where a Version of him already existed or they switched places. Either it's the Version of Sora that Yozora mentions or even better it's MoM😮
Sora gave his existence to save everyone and the universe. I feel that no one ever thanked him and Kairi should know why he dissappear to another universe, it's the price for messing with time. I hope we see this different personality of Sora in KH4, he looks like Hope Estiem from FFXIII by his hair
I think the sora we will play as in KH4 IS the parallel Sora because there are a few things that are different about KH4 Sora, like the hairstyle and the fact that he looks older. I don't know if this is true, but it's just a theory.

Thank you for making KH lore videos when you can, Now that i'm a adult i don't even have time to replay the games or do more research on my own so your videos on KH really are enjoyable way to digest KH lore talk and discussions and possibilities that the KH franchise might have.
Maybe Sora is a legendary/fictional figure in Yozora's world. Imagine if you met someone and he told you: "I'm King Arthur." You might not know what King Arthur looks like, but you've heard of him and you'd be confused why a random guy is claiming to be him.

I think our Sora was the result of Ava, Luxu and Xehenort messing with the Master of Master's plan. He's the key to saving everyone from whatever craziness the Master came up with in his attempt to rid the world of darkness.
I mean who want to propose the idea of another literal Sora roaming around? I know the franchise became profound for wacky things to happen or whatever. But the thought of it immediately doesn’t particularly intrigue me until we really receive more context what this all mean or leading towards. :p

If you go to 2:47 and look at the head, the skull APPEARS to have Sora's haircut, albeit messed up. What if "Yozora's" goal was to hunt Sora down, loss his memory along the way, and had that Jacket made as a way to remind himself?
Wouldn't it be ironic if Yozora was actually Riku and his goal was to hunt down Sora in THAT universe who got mixed up with "our Sora" and eliminate Sora before Sora's darkness [imagine Sora with Soul Eater and darkness] could destroy the world?
Maybe Yozoras Sora disappeared somehow and he use the name Yozora to remember his lost friend.

I think you're too quick to dismiss Nameless Star here. In KH3, she says her name was taken from her. I mean, that's why she's the *nameless* star. The mechanism of that aren't quite clear, but if her name was Sora, it could mean that she forgot her name or that some other magic prevents her from being connected to the name anymore.
Countless mysteries leading into 4 it's kinda absurd lol. My biggest that i never seen mention once. Luxord said to Sora, "you were born for these types of games". Did he know of Sora since his birth?? Or was that just something he discovered over his encounters with Sora? Luxord possibly being the driver and that comment made, has him as the character I'm most intrigued to learn about
Unless Loxord is from the other reality and there is a Sora in that reality and he was referring to that Sora. The mysteries literally never end
"The final Realm" is a metaphor for the KH Universes infinite consciousness, and eventually it will be revealed that what is in the black box is the consciousness of another game or IP's universe.

It is something that can be "summoned" into one self or a given space within that universe as long as the right conditions are met. It's widely revered and worshipped, but also mysterious because no one can 100% know due to the fractured nature of human perception.)
since even in videogames, no one is allowed to see outside their own universe, sora's perception is also distorted. NPCs and players can't see the code unless they cheat. When he was unable to see a realm where he and his friends lost, he cheated the game. (when he sees yozora in the final Realm, he is seeing himself because "he saw" himself in yozora when he first learned of him in Toy box. "hearts are everywhere, all that needs is for you to see them." But he didn't just see himself in Yozora, he saw Riku too. the two have been in and outside each other's hearts more times than necessary. things got muddled and somewhere in the other side of unreality resulted in Yozora.
yozora became a figment in sora's mind. that's when the two sides of reality and unreality connected, giving them the power to see into each other's consciousness. into each other's final world.
NPCs and players can't see the code unless they cheat. What did Sora essentially do when he changed the ending? Cheated. A cheat is any manipulation of a destined outcome. What does that get you? immediate ejection from destiny itself.
But where do cheaters end up? Once again, look at the bible. Hell/Matrix. AKA, a place that doesn't exist, except it does 😅. Other side of reality = Unreality. Where your life is a figment of someone else's imagination, and the idea, like light, ripples through the consciousness of that other side, simply due to one becoming aware of the other.
Why else would they bring back the phrase, "I've been having these weird thoughts lately. Like, is any of this for real, or not?" The key words being "real" and "not." Kingdom hearts was always the story of a boy growing up and becoming conscious of his nature to the fullest extent. Even to the extent of learning his world is somebody else's illusion.😅
I think that Quadratum is actually set in the future, and Sora is like a Jesus figure from the past of that world.
Remember when Sora time travels for the first time of KH3, I feel like it made 2 branching timelines, one where the Darkness wins, and another where Light wins, and Quadratum is the future of the timeline where darkness won and Sora disappeared.

Input: For me it seems like he pointed that out cause they just look different in kh4 according to the new art style. Like sora look different with the new art style same as uzora will probably. Maybe that's why he said how u recognized me by this ("art style"). Cause it make no sense that uzora will look super different in kh4 like an other person. And when he whoked up in the car he looked the same so what he meant by saying that he look different if he looked the same.
Conclusion: Maybe that was just a way for Nomura to tease that kh4 will have an completely different art style that more going in to the direction of final fantasy.
Wait since Sora can technically time travel, who's to say he hasn't been to quadratum already and lived out a whole different life the moment he arrived there. So for our sora he's only just getting there while master of masters/ other sora has been doing everything else after the ending of KH3 and starting the events of UX and KH1 that's why the m.o.m knows everything that leads up to the end of 3 but not after it. That way It would lead up to him "existing" in the first place from sora's actual death. We've never seen the M.o.M younger or teen years so we might of been playing his origin story this whole time.

What about KH1 in little mermaids level. It talks about the keybalde bearer who brings distruction maybe that is the other sora? Not sure how but its always bugged me how little mermaids dad said this about sora.
Everyone thinks him saying that means there’s another person named Sora, but there is actually another explanation for why Yozora said that: he wasn’t expecting the Sora he was told to save to look like that. There’s two options I can think of in this explanation: either he thought Sora was a girl, or he expected Sora to look like he does now, because Sora is the reason he looks like Riku. In other words, he was expecting “Sora” to look like Riku.

I wish KH would have gone a different route in KH3. With all the wasted opportunities in tying the loose ends together better, it seems like KH3 is rushed to make way for the new Foretellers saga. I don’t understand why the BBS and Days trio never have a better conversation the first time they met one another. The ReMind is not really that convincing even with added content. Still feels rushed and inconsistent honestly.

If Yazora is fiction in the world of kingdom hearts, then Sora is fiction in the place he went. Yazora is probably familiar with Sora from Kingdom hearts "the movie". if that makes Sence to you then Yazora was asking why Sora (the player) was using the name Sora (the fictional character). since sora is sora and responded, yazora is confused and attacks Sora thinking he is a ( insert main bad guy minon of kingdom hearts 4 here) that's why they fought.
Kingdom hearts writes as it goes. Always introducing new stories that conflict and change the whole story. After the 3rd, it's sad but I'm over this franchise now, writing isn't what it used to be.

SPOILERS FOR FINAL FANTASY 13-2 AND LIGHTNING RETURNS. POSSIBLE HINTS OF THINGS TO COME?
Sora "dying" as a price for changing the course of history is EXACTLY the same thing that happens to Serah in FF13-2.
In 13-2 Serah goes back in time and changes the timeline multiple times and she dies as a result of her sin. (changing the timeline is a sin in 13-2). when Sarah dies, her soul and memories find its way into her sister Lightning. Lightning feeling guilty for her sisters death willingly goes into a crystal sleep. when she wakes up, her emotions split from her heart and manifest into a girl named Lumina.
Due to Serah's soul being in Lighting when her emotions split from her, Lumina takes on the memories and appearance of Serah.
Lumina is a manifestation of lightnings emotions that she locked away in her heart and has Sarah's memories and similar appearance due to Sarah's soul being in Lightning.
Lumina = Lightning’s heart + Serah’s soul. She's Essentially a Nobody
Something similar could happen with Sora or in KH4 in general.
