X-23 should become the new wolverine. Makes the most sense also financially for marvel. You got the connection to hugh jackman while also using a new actor that people are familar with (and people like her) . Recasting hugh jackman with another dude would fire backwards. But hey they currently working on damaging rdj‘s legacy too😃

@@joeychicago6322 Snipes and a stuntman got into a fight after Snipes hit the stuntman, while shooting a scene, on purpose. That blacklisted Snipes with the stuntmen in Hollywood as he didn't want to apologize -- and even mocked the situation -- and subsequently with the bizz in general, forcing him to shoot his movies in Eastern Europe (hard to do Hollywood action movies when Hollywood stuntmen don't wanna work with you). This weathered his career down for a while but fans love for Blade and others actors and directors loving Snipes kept him afloat

After Deadpool and Wolverine was over my friend and I were discussing that some of our favorite parts of the film were both from the opening credits fight/sequence of how awesome and hilarious the fight was between Deadpool and the TVA Agents, but also within that this one joke Deadpool made while holding the bones of the deceased Logan from Logan and saying “There are 206 bones in the human body, well 207 when I watch Gossip Girls.” was one of our favorite, random jokes from the film and then also the Honda Odyssey fight between Deadpool and Wolverine was just so hilarious and graphic that we were both dying laughing from it. There was just so many amazing, hilarious jokes and action/fight scenes throughout the movie that it was hard really picking a favorite. It was just all so fun and great.

Is Deadpool & Wolverine a great movie? I wouldn’t say so. Is Deadpool & Wolverine solid entertainment that delivered what it advertised? Yes, I think so. There were a lot of moments I laughed at, the chemistry between Reynolds and Jackson is great, some enjoyable multiverse characters showed up, there was some nice emotion in the story, and while I wouldn’t say it’s on the level of the first two films, I dug the soundtrack. Of course there are flaws with this movie. The main one being that the plot is pretty thin. It’s not something I’ll be remembering this movie for. I don’t really know what I’ll think about this movie a year from now, but there was plenty to enjoy in my mind when I watched it yesterday afternoon.

Here’s a problem I realized (once again) when people go see comedy movies. Specially comedies like Deadpool that like to make fun of other things.
A lot of people have trouble reading the room when they’re on another room.
Deadpool movies make fun of the fox movies, but the behind the scene footage in the credits was clearly a love letter to those movies. I even teared up watching that. And putting the 20th century logo at the end of it not only payed homage to their superhero movies, but everything great that studio gave us for decades. It was a way for Disney to say “we know we didn’t just bought a studio, we bought an historical piece of everyone’s life and cinema itself”.
And in my theater half the people laughed as if Disney was taking the piss at fox.
This made me think once again that if people go to the theater knowing they should laugh they’ll laugh, even if they’re just assuming they should.
I mean, the fox logo after celebrating the fox movies with time of your life playing over it? Who tf is taking that as a sick burn?

Going into it, I knew they had an homage to the entire Fox Marvel era in the credits, so before I even watched the film, I knew that I could only play one song during the car ride home: How Far We've Come by Matchbox Twenty. Also, it has been a great year for the X-Men because of this, X-Men '97, and the new Ultimate X-Men comics, which while not as good and not getting as much attention as the new Ultimate Spider-Man comics are still solid. Finally, since I'm a Spider-Man fan I like to joke "Well the movie wasn't perfect because it was written by Zeb Wells, but it wasn't bad since he was only one of four writers and wasn't the head writer." If you can't tell I'm not a massive fan of Zeb Wells, and this might surprise you but there are few people who I despise more I've been trying to get Nick Lowe to block me for over half a year now but since he's a troll (and trolls don't try and prevent reactions, try just encourage them), all my attempts have been in vain. Sorry if I got sidetracked but since I'm a Spider-Man fan I take any opportunity I get to hate on Zeb Wells and Nick Lowe.
9:53 The earth-616 caption will never not piss me off (same thing with the MCU getting called Earth-616 in Multiverse of Madness), because, in the official Marvel handbook, it clearly states the MCU is Earth-199999 and they just threw that out the window to make some comic fans wet their pants, even though it doesn't make any sense because now there are two earth-616 universes.

Finally saw it last night and had an absolute blast with my brother. I'm 25 so my entire childhood all I've known is these versions of these characters and I absolutely enjoyed it. I agree I wanted a little more Human Torch. Also hoped to see Nic Cage on a motorcycle but hey I can't complain. Blade almost brought a tear to my eye. My most anticipated movie of this year definitely had me smiling almost the entire time.

I don't think the film implied Logan takes place in the release year at all. The TVA exists outside of normal time, so they can see the universe is dying and pull Deadpool from whatever time period they want.

I know it's far fetched, but I wouldn't mind when Marvel starts working on the Mutant saga, they have Tatum continue on as Gambit. I feel like he has the wit and charm of Gambit and hopefully he'll get to continue the roll. As for the shots of the behind the scenes of all the Fox movies as well as the clips, it left me not only feeling old in terms of watching years and years of footage of movies I grew up with and have loved for years, but left me emotional as throughout I constantly reminisced on the memories I had with those movies and just ending the Fox era of Marvel beautifully.

I wonder if the "higher-up" that has plans for Deadpool is K.E.V.I.N. from She-Hulk. I mean, the movie is self-referential that the timelines being pruned are making way for the series that Disney will now be incorporating into the MCU, but we know Disney wants to keep Reynolds' Deadpool while pruning the rest. So, in-universe, I'm wondering if K.E.V.I.N., the AI who seems to be officially in charge of the story and timeline, actually has some kind of influence on the TVA that we haven't seen yet, and maybe will never see.

I just saw this and I can say it was definitely a send off to 20th Century Fox but in a very Deadpool way. As for all the cameos they were some that truly caught me off guard like Channing Tatum as Gambit because that was a fan casting that had been around for awhile so to see him and all the others was fun. Also that Post credit scene was so funny seeing Chris Evans say stuff that probably wouldn't come out of Captain America's but could very well come out of Johnney Storms mouth.

While there may be a few elements that might be used in future MCU movies, this movie felt more like a tribute/poking fun at the 20th Century Fox/New Line era of Marvel movies. It was less of a MCU chapter in their saga and more of a closing of the book of 20th Century Fox. And I dug it. It roasted Fox, but it was also respectful. Having the cameo characters be trapped in the Void made perfect sense. While I did think the ending was predictable and anti-climatic, I did have a hell of a lot of fun with it.

I just saw it at my local theater and it was absolutely insane!! I laughed soo much as usual 😂 the humor is amazing! One things for sure is that, Disney will own the Box Office this year with Inside Out 2 already crossing $1 billion dollars and climbing and now becoming the highest grossing animated movie of all time! Deadpool & Wolverine which will in no doubt cross $1 billion dollars and be even bigger than Inside Out 2. And potentially Moana 2 most likely crossing a $1 billion dollars.
