- Brett Favre and the Pack are at the top of the NFC, while Daunte, Randy, and the rest of the Vikings offense has struggled to outscore teams, especially when the D has been giving up 28+ a game past the midway point. They hope to bring #4 back to earth in this midseason matchup.

Tossing roughing the passer flags like Aaron Rodgers was QB.
If that's roughing the passer at 6:27 then every tackle is... smh
Lol, the refs had money on the Packers.
"Minnesota has totally controlled this game"
Culpeper immediately throws pick. Being a Vikings fan in a nutshell.
So true!!
For just a 6-10 squad, I felt like that 2002 team was pretty competitive. Doug Brien doesn't miss two PAT"s against the Bills, and Bryant McKinnie doesn't forget to report as eligible on Moss' late TD against the Falcons, that's likely two more wins. We also led the Bears by ten at half time in Week 1, and we dropped a few touchdowns in the second half against the Seahawks that might have made that game a little closer.
2002 team had so many heartbreaking losses. The only 2 really bad games were in Seattle & at the Meadowlands against the Jets. I think they even played well in a 14 Point loss at eventual Super Bowl Champ Tampa Bay. Despite only being 1 game better than 2001 it felt like more than that after the disaster of the previous season.
You know Mike Tice is the coach when there's 4 or 5 terrible penalties on the highlight reel, but the call at 6:23 is friggin comical
Favre knew the drill…flop onto the ground and make it look good!
Death, taxes, and refs trying as hard as they can to gift games to the Packers
6:25 wow, how did Favre keep going after such a brutal hit? 🙄
So brutal as a kid watching the vikings play the packers Favre would always get those favorable calls that would turn the momentum of the game. Lambeau mystique was nothing but questionable calls.
Funny, he gets all those flags playing against us but didn't get them when he was playing for us
@@adamwebb831 Exactly, it's a team thing not a player thing. The refs love them some cheeseheads
@@ancapgrandscribe9546 - the two horse collars in this game that went uncalled against the Packers were just icing on the cake.
The two penalties on Johnstone were PATHETIC.
Peak Daunte was a sight to see man.
Culpepper was the ultimate turnover machine that year
I was at this game, Packer fans were leaving early so i went down by the exit to give them the double birds as a parting gift.
The team wasn't good but this takes me back to being 11-12 years old in the Tice era, lying on the floor watching in the family home living room NW of Minneapolis on a tiny ass 1980s TV with a fuzzy antenna, and how I never had more fun watching games than that.
Nostalgia is such a weird drug.
@funkydunkleman I wish you had the full game. I have been wanting to see it forever.
Vikings always seemed to have obscure 3rd WRs that had big games. Campbell, Wright, Simpson, Aromashodu, etc.
Lol Bates too
One of the earliest visual recordings of the parkers black and white stripped uniforms.
What is it with FOX and all the bad camera angles from the corner end zone?
I forgot that Favre was so bad historically at the metronome
Yeah he could never get the beat right
@@SkolneyVikings Couldn't find his rhythm
wow the riffing sucked . at least two horse collar tackles by the pack and a couple really lame ruffing the passer calls . if the refs would have protected farve when we played new orleans we would have been in a Super Bowl
Horse collar tackles were legal then.
That intro was clean ❤
Lol what a clumsy game!
Look at Favre sideways and holler boo you get a RTP 15 yarder.
Need to bring back those crazy camera angles! That dart to Moss in the end zone was picture perfect.
Holy crap did the zebras try to keep the cheese in that game.
The refs won it for the queens
@@JosephBlueshield You mean for the cheeseheadasses?
@@JosephBlueshield They threw the most soft weak ass roughing the passer penalties that mainly only occur in today's NFL.
