I just finished my 2nd one and I did 20 rows. I did add rows to the sleeves at the end as well as the bottom of the cardi. But it really just depends on your tension.
I noticed that you hold your yarn and hook the same as me, does your left pinky hurt at the knuckle? Mine hurts all the time, like I bruised it, I just started crocheting so I’m not sure if that’s something I’ll just get used to or not
