i've started crocheting just yesterday and wanted to learn how to do a granny square and, i spent all day trying every single tutorial and all they made me make is a stupid circle UHGZWBIVNWINIVW
until i came across this video and i am NOT kidding when i say this is an amazing and authentic tutorial !! since its my first granny square, its quite wonky but i believe that by practicing more i'll manage to remake this granny square even better; but right now im so proud of this tiny granny square i made and my mom was so proud of me :) took me almost an hour, (or two?) butttt if anyone is scrolling through comments for the reviews, pleaseee only follow this tutorial very carefully and follow what she says, i've never been so excited by making a granny squareeee !!!! thank you so so much lilthings :D

What I really LOVE about your crochet tutorials are:
1. Your hands are out of the way. w/ other tutorials they cover the work so I cant see what they are doing.
2. You take your time, go nice and slow, JUST like a tutorial should do for BEGINNERS!
3. You show instructions up the top, so those that are more confident, we can move ahead and follow the instructions.
4. Your so patient. W/ other tutorials I look up and they are 3 minutes ahead of where I am at!
5. Your voice is so calming, other tutorial voices are REALLY annoying but I actually didn't rage for the first time!

@@Miss_Kitty_Meow The reason why it didn't work out for me because first i was a beginner and didn't even know how to do a double crochet 😂
Second reason is that i didn't use the right hook size with the yarn i had, i had 3 ply yarn and used 5.5mm hook so it was loose and didn't work out.
I just wanted to share this with you maybe you're struggling with this i hope this is helpful
@@sunny08e I found out I too was working with the wrong size hook. 😅 so happy to finally crochet but I also learned that I was allergic to acrylic so I switched to cotton and am so happy with the beginning of my fall blanket 🥰 Tysm for letting me know. I’m so excited to finally being on the right path! 😊

My great grandma passed away in 2018 or 2019. She really liked crocheting so I’m trying to do it too, just like her. We still have some of the granny squares she made. I have never completed one of your videos, I’m inpatient, but I’m gonna try to finish this one! I might update later!

You can do this! :) If you don't feel like complete this at once i think you just could start and write the Timestamp down when you stop. This way you can always just continue! :)

I tried other tutorials and their hand was covering their work, i couldnt see their stitches to look at and make sure im doing it right. This tutorial was amazing, you did it slow, and your voice was clear, you also showed the thingys at the top so alot of people felt more confident in theirself to go a little more ahead, and this was my first time making a granny square, and it looks awesome!
