    I’ve watched all the best UA-cam teachers , all of them , Danny Maude, Rick Shields, Peter Cowen, I’ve seen Foley, Malaska, Milo, Be Better golf, Rotary Golf Swing , Marcus Bell, Andy and Piers, Peter Finch, Grant Hoovart , all of them and no tips has ever worked so fast and so effective than S&T System. It’s logic! Less variables to think and more constant results in a short time! Do it right and it will work better than any other system.

    I'm a stack and tilt convert. You need to change grip and get away from 10 finger. Also Chad you need to get flatter and hands more inside. Swing club around you. Once you master the power is amazing and effortless. I hit my 8 iron 160 and I'm 58 yrs old. I've gained 20 yds with every club.

    Sometimes you have to mix up swing techniques to make up a consistent game.
    One thing I remember is with the drive is actually a hip bump forward not looking at it as weight in the lead foot The hip forward adds weight to the front leg.
    You are not doing anything wrong, it’s a body generated swing. As you get older this is what kills speed. As you get older you migrate to a more arms generated swing. Like playing with a table tennis racket. That hitting a table tennis ball increases your speed again.

    Laughed when I saw your hey dude looking shoes. Last week got out of car and realized I left my golf shoes at home. With my hey dude, no ty shoelaces on, I played with them. Actually more stability swinging because I didn’t want to slip. My swing was under control and I seemed to hit the ball more solid than usual. Oh yea, my feet didn’t hurt after the round😂!

    Enjoying this stack and tilt series and yes the long clubs are what make or break this system. Tom saguto is a talented golfer and has the skill set to make this his own,If he went back to a more traditional swing he’d be good at that to I suspect.
    Any roads you will give this a fair appraisal as you always do and will probably still have more questions than answers 😂
    May I suggest in the future that you could give JHs Davinchi code swing a bash? I tried but got nowhere but would be interesting to see what you think. Take care.

    I struggled with the driver too for a while, supposedly SnT was initially designed for hitting driver.
    It was those subtle elements that made the difference, especially tucking the hips as that leveled out the swing. From vids I was hitting too down with that weight forward.
    Enjoying the series as I’m on the same journey.

    You and I struggle with the same thing (trying to make the change from a conventional swing to S&T): the lead knee still wants to work inward rather than downward/outward. Tough habit/feel to break!

    I have followed you since the days of Jim Venetos and have appreciated the quality of your videos. I have also followed Tom Saguto for a good few years, but much like you l chop and change far too much. I am no expert with any particular method but l have noticed a few little things in this video. Tom addresses the ball exactly the same for all clubs with a reverse capital K, with his weight very much on the forward side, he then takes the club away with straight arms and a short back swing with no bending of the left arm, this keeps the swing radius constant. Although he talks about pointing the left shoulder down towards the ball in the take away this just happens due to the set up and having zero weight shift, in other words the tilt just happens, if you try and tilt you will change the spine angle and for someone of my age that hurts. The shoulders tilt less for the driver due to the club length and the increase in stance width. Thanks again for yor videos and enthusiasm. Regards Al.

    • @alanrobshaw
      @alanrobshaw Рік тому

      Thanks, one last thought, Tom always throws the club down the target line with both arms straight which means that his finish position is either very short or up and over his left shoulder with the longer clubs, but never flat as in a conventional swing that has weight shift. Thanks again.

    I’ve been doing S n T method for about 9 months now and driver is still a bit of an issue. The relationship between the ball and lead armpit is more important than the feet stance IMO.
    When the driver is working for me this is what I usually feel:
    -Trail elbow is close against and on the frontside of my torso.
    -both arms flexed “straight” with the driver hovering off the floor. This helps me initiate the turn with my torso and shoulders. Trail elbow feels like it bends later in the backswing(above lead arm parallel).
    -The only thing I think about on the downswing is “pumping” my lead knee. The harder/faster I straighten the lead knee, the better my ball striking. Try it and see if you notice any improvement.

    • @GolfTestDummy
      @GolfTestDummy  Рік тому +1

      I've found very similar, Keenan. Turn back, the lead knee bends, then you just straighten it and boom.

      @KeenanKelsey Рік тому

      @@GolfTestDummy with driver, I feel my lead knee bends down towards the ball instead of towards the target. Are you feeling the same thing? It helps me feel more centered and less likely to hit it high on the face or leave a dummy mark. 😆

    I appreciate you showing S&T in a favorable light, it is a great system though vastly misunderstood. Take a look at your video, take notice of your trail foot. In each back swing, your trail foot is actually rolling out, weight is not only going back, but its going to the outside of your right heel. I believe this is the biggest problem with S&T, the longer the club the more prone we are to having weight going back even though we feel like it is staying forward. For those who are having issues with the longer clubs, I suggest watching Rob Cheney, particularly the video called "The Wrench". @robcheneygolf
    Again, thanks for your series, its a great intro to a great system

  • @timothypollock8358
    @timothypollock8358 Рік тому

    Your frustration to a certain degree is palpable but you're hanging in there. The driver swings during the play test had more trail hip slinging the club forward and helped with the overall striking to a degree. The overall loop of your swing is kind of the inverse of what creates power and particularly with the driver and longer clubs. The club is going very wide around and behind you and then you leverl it more steeply in the downswing so you are effectively cutting off a lot of your arc due to a kind of redirection. If the club moved wider in front of and up and around you, the steeper downswing path of the club could be effectively levered to take full advantage of arc size and trail arm release.
    It's by widening the arc and then collapsing it on a relatively similar plane that full advantage of leverage is achieved. Since your downswing plane is steep virtually all of the time your backswing plane should feel wider in front of you and higher in order to take full advantage of leverage on the way down especially since leveraging on a flatter plane from more behind you (which is very possible) will not really work for you because of TWE challenges. You essentially are moving the trail arm on a wide flat arc behind and then leveraging it on a wide vertical arc coming down which is essentially a disconnect.and is why you can't get much trail arm tuck and throw motion. Even though there's nothing wrong with each of these trail arm moves individually, but they don't work together very well. Cheers.
