I had no idea that elephants had this vocal range. They sound like three old grannies gossiping over a cup of tea.
They reminded me so much of my Italian Nana & her lovely neighbors, why bother with a phone when all u had to do was raise a window & start a convo with the "Girls"

when you are clearly adopted by the herd, its a great feeling. its like they are trying to hide the photographer from the helicopter lol. everyone in this video feels 100% safe around the other. its magical.

Andrea, So you know, this place is Elephant Nature Park of Save Elephant Foundation of NW Thailand, outside of Chiang Mai. They have 3 ENP-ele channels, this one (ElephantNews), "Elephant Nature Park" channel, and "EleFlix" channel. They rescue elephants from torture and severe abuse, from lives of forced labor in the logging and tourism industries, and many other animals as well. My son visited Thailand just about three years ago and refused to go to any of the elephant "visiting places" because he'd heard that although many seem to be legitimate in terms of their treatment of the elephants, in reality they are for profit...I will certainly pass this information on as he will be visiting again relatively soon. love and blessings🥰

Elephants are a lot like horses in regards to communicating with other animals they think with their hearts and they respond appropriately to different situations. They the most regal and majestic animal that I can imagine.
Yes! Elephants and horses have a great deal in common, MUCH! They both are The Keystone species in their ranges, they both have hierarchy within the herd/pecking order/higher vs. lower, they both hug their young by their calves/foals standing under their lower jaws, they both communicate in ways that most people have long abandoned, and more. I am so glad that someone else sees this.
