True but if Ramsay did point out to him that he needed to change his ways a bit and stand out more as a leader and he doesn’t do any of that with having a weak pass performance, then there’s a reason why his elimination was justified and after watching his pass performance, it’s pretty clear and obvious that he wouldn’t be any better and his brigade would’ve tanked.
@@rayewaddell9668 I see the argument that he had a weak time at the pass, but Virginia shouldn't have even been at the final 3 to begin with after flubbing every single service. Garrett or Sara should've been there. And Virginia's brigade tanked anyway in the finals because even though she was loud and swore a lot, she had no real idea what she was doing at the pass either and couldn't command respect. Served Raw also showed that Keith was suffering from a bad ailment during the F3 and was not physically all there when he was running the pass because of it. No doubt that could've affected how he ran the pass, and since Heather was winning anyway, I think it would've been best to give him the honor of being a finalist after he was consistently one of the best chefs all season. @@rayewaddell9668yeh but put the man in the final over Virginia ffs, doesn't matter if he couldn't improve he still deserved to be in the final and Virginia didn't
Keith was pretty spot on about Virginia. Given way too many chances. Especially when you watch the raw version of the season 2 finale and how abysmal Virginia did to the point where Keith had to move the train along FOR her. And it's also pretty ironic when apparently Virginia would later go on state how much she hated her time in HK and said that she learned nothing from her experience there.
When Virginia returned as a runner up in season 10 going against the final 6, she did pretty well and she’s successful now so that should tell you something there.
Say what you want about Keith, that was pretty ballsy of him to call the riggory of that moment out right to Chef Ramsay’s face. And you can tell there was a part of Ramsay that sorta wondered if Keith had a point, but he stood his ground.
This elimination was so bad that I boycotted the show for well over a decade before I fell back into it. I was a teenager at the time and I had lost all respect for Gordon Ramsay and HK.
I think less of Gordon after this. He knows he’s wrong but can’t take it back because of his narcissistic ego. He’s not even that good of a chef or leader. Go eat at one of his restaurants
In the end, Keith wasn’t gonna win! I mean there was a reason why Heather was put on the blue team to begin with. The blue team had no leader and if it’s something Keith lacked in his entire run was leadership qualities. I know Keith fans are gonna jump on me for this but I don’t care. His elimination was fair enough here.
Bro VIRGINIA WAS LIGHTYEARS BELOW HIM. she didn't deserve to be in the final regardless, Keith may have lacked leadership but he deserved to be in the final instead of Virginia, and anyways neither of them would've beaten Heather
You say that but Virginia sucked and had way too many chances, Keith deserved final 2 status easily and if you watch the uncut versions of the dinner services it’s pretty apparent
@@jackhageman9983 Okay but you can’t deny that Virginia has a much better attitude than Keith. I rather someone who’s willing to learn and grow over someone who doesn’t change their own ways. If Heather is pointing out the problems Keith has, then you Keith fans have a problem here. I understand why so many of y’all say that he was robbed and can agree but looking at the result of his pass performance, it’s fair to say that Ramsay wasn’t wrong on eliminating him. To everyone sticking up for Keith, he was indeed the un-fittest out of the final 3 to run a brigade of chefs. Just imagine Keith winning hell's kitchen and doing as good as a job at running his own restaurant as Heather or even Virginia. Gordon has made the right decision indeed.
Not when you look at the numbers on a lot of these type shows that regularly turn what is supposed to be skill based eliminations into who looks best on camera or who "allegedly" was good on their knees off camera lol
Okay to everyone who says Keith was justified, try imagining everything's the same but he's Elise. If you want to slap her now, congrats, you're biased.
If elise is Keith in this scenario and she acted exactly like Keith did in the show then I would still want her in the finals above Virginia, and Heather was gonna win anyway
Virginia is always at the elimination since the beginning of S2. Keith was the best in the blue kitchen before Heather was switch to the team. I thought Keith was robbed in this one since virginia got every chances which most of that she didn't deserve even in the black jacket. Which is why at the finale Heather won via landslide, sipping champaign while Virginia's team is still struggling.
Personality is very important for being a GOOD lider. Being rude and disrespectful only proves that Ramsay can't trust you and you are not ready to be responsible of a team. You need psicology as well, not only be a good cook. I hope you have learned from this. He taught you a very important lesson.
Well what did you expect? Heather was gonna be the clear winner for that season due to the cast being weak. Not to mention, he did the worst at running the pass so in the end, overall doesn’t matter, it’s that specific service is what matters the most.
