@@ChaceBonanno I always find songs that don’t use parts of samples that I think have the most potential, such as tappan zee by bob james I made a beat with that sample recently, I might post it to yt
Fun Fact : There’s actually no sample in 90210 everything’s made from scratch the piano & drums were played live that’s why it sounds so clean in the og, as far as the ‘family business’ sample it’s probably travis’s vocals chopped with effects on it or maybe even a vox.
@@thefantorangster2491 It doesn’t. It samples the same song as family business but not the same part. In family business it sounds like “all the thangs” and in 90210 it sounds like “ballin”.

fun fact about this beat is that it only sampled the piano, the rest of was interpolated. The “Ballin” was a VOX recorded by Travis and the drums were recorded live.
I know the vocal chop is a interpolation but I just wanted to let y'all know that if pitched correctly the family business can actually work, I know because I tried it
Been trying to find this out but can't find anywhere - Does anyone know the process that Tracklib uses to transfer the original master recordings (from original analog tape reels) to digital? I'd like to know the detailed specifics such as: what AD converters are used, what sample rate is used, any extra outboard processing, etc. Also what is the final digital file specs used on Tracklib?... I'm thinking of joining but can't find this info anywhere (I care about great sound quality). Cheers.
@@JoeeKickass99 Well yeah, but since I'm curious about master transfers and audio process I had to ask since they don't list it anywhere. But I contacted them and they replied to let me know what it was. Cheers.
@@imalivecuzofJESUS They said it was 16 bit 44kHz. It'd be better if it was 24 bit 96kHz (especially by today's standards) since some of us do a lot of heavy audio manipulation with the files and want to keep very high audio quality. But I guess we get what we can get.
Hey Tracklib! Thanks bro, love the teachings and I'm ready to work now. Question, I'm looking at the Ableton Push2 or the Machine MK3. I'm stuck I have the money for what ever. Tell me why you would pick the one over the other? Thank you bro, and many blessing

yea, they probably chopped it and then replayed it with live instruments to save money on the clearance
They chopped the Rigol Sample and replayed it themselves. It saves money.
deffo replayed by mike dean. that's done all the time by artists so the sample sounds a little clearer
