- For this video I am going to be unboxing an amazing gift that I received off my good friend Conor Gray and it is the Umbrella Entertainment collector's edition of Dune. This is such a wonderful gift to receive and I'm still pinching myself that I have it in my movie collection. A huge thank you once again Conor. This is very surreal to me.

Wow! What a lovely thing for someone to do. This is an amazing community. That boxset is absolutely stunning! With regards to the gifts that i'm sending you, all I can say is it will definitely be at some point this year. Just going through some stuff at the moment and my illness is hampering things. Like i've said on Instagram, I couldn't think of a better person to receive these gifts that I'll eventually send to you as I know you will treasure it. As someone who collects movies and Lego sets, I was really interested to see what this Umbrella Collector's Edition was like. It's very impressive!
I have a whole bunch of movie-themed Lego sets, I highly recommend the Delorean Time Machine and the Ecto-1.
It's my absolute pleasure Tim. Myself and Ellen went into the Lego store a couple of weeks back and we seen the DeLorean and even though it cost an absolute fortune we were seriously thinking about picking it up. We didn't do it then but we might do it sometime in the future. Ellen had a blast putting that thing together. She gets all the credits because I was simply handing her pieces

I honestly can't praise Connor enough. Like I said in the video David these things are not cheap and they are definitely not cheap to send either as I'm sure your parcels are the exact same. Honestly Conor I will forever treasure this edition. I knew it was going to be beautiful but honestly I didn't think it was going to look this good. When I actually held the box in my hand I knew I was holding something rather special and I wouldn't have this if it wasn't for you. As much as I love umbrella entertainment it can be quite expensive to order from them over here because of customs and the delivery charges as well. Ellen once again told me to thank you. She really enjoyed this one.

That's really cool Keith, I never knew it came in self assembly lego pieces, I was sure it would come as any other statue. There's always some nice sense of accomplishment after finishing a long assembly like that. I think my 65" tv stand took a bit over an hour so I can imagine how chuffed you both were as two doing it for 3hrs, fair play.
Yeah I have to admit I was very intrigued when I heard this was going to be a LEGO piece. It doesn't get any more unique than that and it's definitely a first for me. There is a great sense of accomplishment when you put it together especially when you consider some of the small pieces that had to go into it. I think it was over 700 altogether. He is definitely a Legend. I've preordered Masters of the Universe and Tank Girl Collector's boxsets from Umbrella. I missed out on the Super Mario Bros one but not majorly fussed on that one as there are some other decent versions out there. Need to pick up The Prophecy Collection too.
I didn't say it in the video but he actually bought me that version of Masters of the Universe as well as that Super Mario Brothers. I honestly can't wait to get my hands on both

Great set Keith and really generous of Conor. I always liked both mini series' despite their flaws. I have the original US dvd sets including the digibook with embossed cover and UK blu rays, even though they are only SD upscales. I love this collection. I’m currently putting the Lego Sand Worm together. I’m having a blast. So far, you are the only person on UA-cam who has shown his Lego build from this box set. I’m a huge Dune fan. Love the books and all the movies adaptations. Once I finish the Worm, I’m going to make the Lego Ornithopter. Great review.
I honestly couldn't be happier with this edition and I think the sand worm looks fantastic. Every single aspect of this release is amazing. Even the box it all comes in. I have the whole thing displaying beautifully in my movie room and rightfully so. Great to hear that you picked it up yourself. The sand worm requires a bit of work but I think it's worth it. Bought Lego sets recently. Just build the '89 Batmobile (2 hours) and A raiders of the lost ark setpiece (7 hours with 2 people) . Absolutely stunning. I thought by myself, why don't you sre this more often in boxsets. And there it is. The next day you post this video. Brilliant Umbrella release. The only thing missing is a little sticker on the front of the setpiece with Dune on it. The little icing on the cake. The fun thing about lego and movies is that you get setpieces and statues of your favorite movies and also have a lot of time and fun building it. I also did it with my wife. So If you buy some movie related lego, I would be happy to see videos about it.
I am not kidding Robert but I was on a live stream around a year ago and somebody showed me the LEGO Batmobile one that you have and I spent nearly a half an hour on that stream trying to convince the chap to sell it to me. I couldn't believe how phenomenal it actually looks and then after that he showed me the Batwing and then I spent another half an hour trying to convince him to sell that to me. Unfortunately it didn't work. It is something I would love to get into more in the future but as you know it's very expensive. I think it's worth it though when you consider what you get at the end of it

I was only saying it to my partner the other day when I was carrying it into my movie room. Imagine tripping up and dropping it. There's no way I put it back together
I can't imagine what your partner would do to you if you dropped it keith..lol!..she would probably not you with something hard considering it took you both 3 hours to build it!😁
Believe it or not Steven but when we completed it she jokingly said it would be a shame if we dropped it because she wanted to put it back together. That's how much she enjoyed doing it. I can't say the same for myself 😅 😆

I'm hoping to go and see part two of the remake myself in the next couple of days. I've heard it's supposed to be incredible. This edition of Dune is actually the mini-series of Dune. @@millerman9991 - I’ve already booked to watch Dune: Part Two in IMAX with Laser GT on a massive 1.43:1 screen plus Dolby Cinema on the same day. Hoping to also watch the only 15/70mm IMAX film print in Europe if I can get decent seats as they have practically sold out for the next 3-4 weeks already!
I wish I had the option to see it in its best possible way but unfortunately I can't over here. Unless I'm willing to travel miles which I'm not unfortunately. I'm sure it's going to be an experience especially when you consider how great the reviews are at the moment

This is a great gift from Connor Grey, it's a stunning edition, Keith. I have the 1984 version and the remake but never watched either and didn't even know there was a TV series. So where you going to put this piece, Keith.

I felt it was a lot easier just to say LEGO. I'm not sure what they were using in this release but it worked out quite well

Need Lynch's Dune 1984 director cut. Do a wide release of the film in theaters. Great video.
I think I actually have three cuts of that movie on 4k. The director's cut and there's another one called the Spice diver cut. I'm not sure what that is

Definitely check them out. I own all the versions that have been put onto physical media. David Lynch's version will always hold a special place in my heart due to surroundings and my life at the time. The new Dune is great, and I'm looking forward to part 2. When you do, eventually watch the TV series, including Children of Dune, just keep an open mind. The special effects are laughable within some scenes but overall I really enjoyed it.
I do remember thinking even at the time that the special effects weren't all that impressive but look we are talking about a TV series in the 90s so it was never going to look good. But I am looking forward to checking it and I cannot wait to finally see the sequel. I'm counting down the days

Honestly Chris this is my first ever LEGO piece and myself and my partner Ellen are definitely going to be picking up a few more in the future. We have our eyes Set firmly on the DeLorean from Back to the Future. It does cost quite a bit but I think it would be worth it. I haven't seen that Dune set you are talking about. I'll check it out now and see

We actually noticed the Titanic one as well but as much as I loved it there is no way I could spend over a €1000 to get it. It really is impressive though
@@millerman9991 yeah mate. As cool as it is, its still a lot of money for what is essentially a big box of plastic bricks. Just make sure you check prices mate if you buy the DeLorean as the likes of Amazon tend to inflate the prices on hard to find sets like that as its been out a little while now

I don't think there is one. If you are looking for the instructions on how to put it all together you will have to go on to umbrella entertainment's website to find it

I'm still not happy about arrow videos approach when it comes to releases Like These. If they give us some sort of new packaging I would be happy but to be using the same of what we got before it seems a little cheap.
