Yeah it's basically upscaled onto Blu-ray. I wasn't expecting anything in terms of picture quality. Tell you the truth I probably won't even watch it because I'm not a fan of the television cut but I desperately wanted a Blu-ray version of it nonetheless

@@millerman9991 yes the same that’s why I wanted a very upscale picture but it wasn’t upscale at all actually worse that’s why I don’t understand but it is what it is my friend. I'm actually a huge fan of part 4. H20 is very enjoyable as well. It's a Halloween movie for the scream generation

I even got the via vision Rob Zombie collection as well because they had the theatrical cuts as well not that I was a massive fan on the first one was okay though what your opinion on that Keith Rob zombie films?

Honestly Ryan I cannot stand the movies. Rob zombie's Halloween 1 and 2 are the only Halloween Editions that I own one copy of each. They never felt like Halloween movies to me

It's frightening at this point. I'll put it this way I have Halloween 3 Season of the Witch four times on 4k aswell as part 2. I'm hoping this October I will do a video on my entire Halloween collection

It's funny everybody seems to be gravitating towards Halloween 3 which I did as well. It's a stunning release. Hopefully someday you can pick one up

Me personally Sean I can never watch Halloween and not watch part 2. I actually treat it as one movie. But I understand it's not for everybody

I think everybody went through that when they were younger. I was 8 years old when I seen the Exorcist for the first time.

@@millerman9991 I must say the only film that ever really scared me as a kid was Stephen Kings IT that was the only thing that scared me really but one of my favourite nightmare on Elm Street films out of the whole set and I don’t know who will agree with me on this was Freddie‘s dead proper good film that I’ve got the DVD set that still has the 3-D glasses as well

Well in all fairness Mark I didn't pick them up they were given to me as a gift from Conor. I think I still would have got them

That must be the new cut of the movie where he says that Steve. Yeah unfortunately Irish customs at it once again. Makes absolutely no sense. Like I said in the video they don't even explain why it gets rejected. I honestly don't think they know what they're doing. It's a horrible thing when somebody sending you something and you honestly don't know whether or not you're going to get it.

I would have to agree with you. Don't get me wrong Halloween 2 is up there as well. Very hard to separate part 2 and 3 at times but I have to be true to myself I do watch part 3 more often

It wasn't that long ago when I finally seen train to Busan and I thought it was fantastic. I did get war War Z vibes from it but still a very fun ride

Sold out mate the pre orders will be for the standard versions ViaVision always do this they put out the limited lenticular cover boxsets out first then put out the standard version later down the track

Yeah unfortunately they are very limited. As Mark pointed out it will be the standard releases that's available for pre-order

Hey Teo. Yeah it's the ultimate what if. To think that we could have gotten a different Halloween themed tale every October if this movie was well received back in the day. Thankfully it has grown a monstrous cult Following and rightfully so but you can't help but wonder what it would have been like. It's the same as The Thing and Blade Runner both films did shit at the box office yet have developed a cult following over time

That's actually a very good question Steve. I go through all three formats believe it or not. Whenever I'm in bed and I'm in the mood to watch Halloween I would knock on the DVD. If I want to watch the television version for Halloween 2 now I have the Blu-ray. But 9 out of 10 times I will always go to the 4K because it is easily the best way to view the movies. It's not just the picture quality but the sound is absolutely extraordinary as well. You'll know yourself soon enough when you pick them up

@@millerman9991 totally agree about the sound, Keith. The picture difference between blu ray and 4K is sometimes minimal, although HDR makes a big difference IMHO, but a Dolby Atmos soundtrack? It's a brand new watching experience. As always, loving the content and viewing through, occasionally, very green eyes!

@Steve_281 I have said it so many times in my videos but I think if you didn't have HDR or Dolby vision then 4K would be pointless. Having said that the first five Halloween movies on 4k really do look quite amazing. Especially when you see parts 4 and 5. That is a true Night and Day difference over the blu rays. Honestly Conor if I don't watch Halloween 3 and the Fog at least 3 or 4 times a year I feel like I've done something wrong. That's how much I love them. So any deluxe edition of Halloween 3 or part 2 will always be welcome in my collection. A huge thank you once again Conor. I couldn't be happier

Yeah I heard about them demolishing the silver shamrock building. Such a shame when you consider how long it's been standing there. I didn't realise you can buy a brick for $5. Actually like Umbrella Entertainment a lot of their movies are region free and work in US players and others around the globe I think they have to put Region B on the box because Australia is a Region B Territory I think it is something to do with Licensing

I would do absolutely anything to be in your shoes right now tiger. To be actually able to see Halloween 2 and 3 for the first time again. I can't help but feel envious. I really do hope you give them a go because they are such wonderful sequels. I treat Halloween 1 and 2 as one movie. I could never watch Halloween and not watch the second one.
