Calling the victim of a brutal crime "stupid" is really disgusting. You're blaming her for opening a door? You have no idea what he said or how he presented himself. It's not her fault she got murdered. For opening a door most likely out of kindness & empathy.

    • @taasmr4203

@abbeyball6890 That kindness, empathy, and may be lust for black man makes her a college graduate stupid who was not a critical thinker despite being a college graduate. I am pretty sure that she rented that apartment because of its security system, but then why did she open the door at 11:15 p.m for a random black man in a city that is famous for its high violent crime rate?

How can it be “good” behavior when it’s controlled, limited & monitored?
Maybe if there were more thorough counseling than is available in us prisons, but there’s absolutely nothing to indicate how they will react when given control of their own decisions.
We should be able to hold judges & parole boards accountable. They’d be much more careful. Maybe they should just be required to have early release prisoners move into their neighborhoods.

My friend I grew up with was in a really abusive relationship. She had restraining orders against him but it didn't matter. He showed up at her home & stabbed her numerous times, in front of their 3 year old daughter. I really don't understand how people are capable of doing something like that-in front of your child. A business man, Rey Rivera, who was also not native to Baltimore but had relocated here for work, was found dead on the roof of The Belvedere Hotel in Mt. Vernon. Right there with you on this Rachel. Being well behaved locked up and supervised with only other men has nothing to do with how they will behave when released. Too much care for violent offenders and not enough to keep the innocent public safe. I love your shows and all of your content. Sending love from Down Under. ❤

I love this podcast and everything you do Rachel.......therefore I feel comfortable to forward a philosophy that says: "Please don't feed the wildlife, bears, or other animals, as they will lose the ability to care for themselves and become dangerous nuisiances".

Agree with you 100%, I’m sorry but how many times do we have to see that a repeat offender is back in prison, but this time for murder…it’s sadly common and beyond maddening. If you’re a violent sex offender you do not deserve freedom. It has been shown time and time again that these monsters cannot be rehabilitated. Don’t even get me started on the ones who commit crimes against children but somehow get multiple chances to be released to inflict more pain and trauma…. I will never understand how this is okay.

What makes you say that? Not doubting you, I just want more information. I got very lucky and didn’t need an injury lawyer since the price of my medical bills before insurance was so high the car insurance company didn’t have any option but to pay the money I was entitled to, so I don’t have a lot of experience with injury lawyers.

No matter the crime, I hate the concept of time off for "good behavior". Their bad behavior got them in jail in the first place. Plus, being good is easy when surrounded by armed guards and razor wire.

This is such a sad case. I often say when a young person or child is taken, you never know what they could have fone gor the whole of the world perhaps cure cancer. I truly truly believe Pava was on her way to improve and help all. I hope her team can continue to build on from what she started. RIP PAVA❤....I share your opinion on the early release they gave Jason more than a second chance. Hopefully this time he WONT ever be released

I was almost taken n killed so many times as a child
But I was abused n almost killed at home too
So I'm suffering cptsd n struggling to leave my home or live n trust
But I did dream of doing a lot to help people all throughout my teens n childhood
But I was constantly targetted n attacked n abused throughout my life even after childhood
      I'm a shell of a person now
I feel I don't deserve to be here
N maybe these people deserve to be here more

If someone could explain to me just how children being murdered in Syria, which she states as due to money, how does teaching people to become entrepreneurs make any difference. I feel that it just doesn’t relate and that this isn’t about supporting people but about making money 🤔 What am I not seeing? I feel that she was very manipulative.

I agree with you 100 percent, he should of never been released. Violent offenders will never be able to live around society without reoffending, it's just who they are. They should not be allowed early release knowing how violent they are. This woman was someone that was changing the world for the better and was snuffed out by a violent reoffender. How is that in any way a good thing for anybody or anything??????? These so called law makers are just as guilty as he is for this woman's murder. How the hell do they sleep at night, knowing this??????? Assholes!!!! Sorry I just get so angry about this kind of thing. Anyway great video Racheal.🙂🙂

American justice system is a joke, criminals have more rights than victims. Until law enforcement makes a change, a judge makes a change, harsher penalties this mayhem will continue. You have to have consequences for criminals and they might think twice. The whole eye for an eye etc works

This case is to close to home. As a parent who's daughter was raped. I have struggled with not wanting to cause harm to the bastard. Instead I watch and help my daugter. My daughter now struggles with dark thoughts of harming herself. Weekly therapy session, medication to cope due to what happened to her. She spoke and did what she knew was right. She was told not enough evidence. Well the bastard did it again and now will go to court. People who cause harm should never be released. I watch the daily struggles for the last three years of my bright beautiful daughter and wish that my grandfather was alive to take him fishing so that I could bake a cake for his family at his funeral. These bastards have all kinds of anger and are a ticking time bomb and the law is written for them and not the victims in most cases.

Judges or laws will change if something happens to there loved ones. That is the world.
Give a second change sure let give him a spot next to the judges house. Thats not gonna happen. So they let them out and waited all that time in jail to do it again. Knowing he wont get punished but just put in a jail with food etc etc
