He is someone who can realy call himself as a grand master ,cz he knows what is necessary ,and in which way things work . I wish he had understood the necessity of a good sparing team trained by him. But in his era this the way mostly students were trained.
They trained particularly hard. If you had the opportunity to chi Sau spare with Ah Kuhn, you’re aware if he wants to destroy you , it would have been over in the blink of an eye. These guys were simply just “ good” and didn’t need to prove anything.
Did you see how the student submitted to the pull, and the old skinny Man did not??? There was NO TAI CHI CHUAN, No Qigong used at ALL. #INTERNAL #SOFTandHARD ☯️🥋
Nobody has ever submitted to "the old skinny guy" . He was the genuine master. You can still meet and train with students of his across the globe . They would welcome you to test them out. Highly recommend you do this. There's a lot of crap on youtube
The westerners were there to learn and discover there shortcomings. The old master was teaching and pointing out the mistakes in application which many of us weren’t aware we of. These experiences training with CST occasionally over several decades were extremely valuable
Muay Thai is different. The success depends on the teacher and abilities of the students. I’ve seen some incredible fights in Thailand. Proper fights. And incredible tournaments unlike any I’ve witnessed at home. I hold these fighters in very high regard. I’ve never seen any of a similar age to Sigung Chu though.
@@wingchun-simplekungfu7584 Yes . Martial art has so many kinds of them like music like jazz , pop , rock etc. Every song has their own way to talk to who listens and same to martial art .
That’s a false statement which sorry. You very lack the knowledge and only an assumption. Traditonal Muay Thai Boran only uses knees, elbows, push kicks and round house kicks and that’s it. They have very few punches. The modern Muay Thai has added sidekicks, hook kicks and boxing. Muay Thai is still very rigid as they mainly attack straight on forward as offense and they absorb the blows. Wing Chun emphasizes on defending with an offense. Counter with an offense and is not just straight forward but at side angles like majority of the Southern Shaolin systems have. Wing Chun was evolved from a Buddhist Nun that learned Southern Shaolin White Crane style. Get yourself more education on Traditional arts befor you make a arrogant ignorant statement.
@@denikom8497 it depends on individual. Also these arts will depreciate over time as one ages over the years . Try to do a Muay Thai kick when u reach 50s & above & u will know the vast difference . Also , it's also about conservation of power ,etc. so Muay Thai is different in its approach to combat not wrong but different. Wingchun is relevant for smaller sized folks & not strong individuals whom need more "sophisticated" techniques, structural strength, etc to compensate unlike Muay Thai -u need to be strong & healthy & able to take blows with wide powerful bold less technical movements. There're goodness in everything just depends whether it suits you physically.

Do you make similar stupid comments under everybody's videos or you are displaying your mediocrity only in this video ?
This looks like chaos. Neither side seemed to know what the other side was doing.

They did know what they were doing but apparently it ll take so long for you to know.
Muay thai is better
