It’s a real quick one and totally worth it. Much like the Crater Lake alt, there’s really no reason to take the official trail, unless going for a proper FKT
@meowhikes I will never forget that AIRBNB in Portland mate... LOL!!! Congrats on the videos man, great work, lots of memories. Nice to see some familiar faces in it too. Take Care buddy. Benji ;)
I'm really enjoying this series and the editing choices your making -- unique and authentic. Keep up the great work! BTW your Cooking with Twerk video is brilliant and one of my all-time favorites.
Thank you! I really appreciate the compliments on the Cooking with Twerk video, as I feel like that’s my most ‘slept on’ video I’ve made, it always cracks me up every time I see it. Trying my best to hone this craft and every positive comment I get, drives that motivation to get better
@@jonclymer9025 this is over the course of 4 months, so generally you have time to prepare for such weather. Being that I have a bunch of gear for different conditions, I had 3 different sleep setups I used. 40° quilt with 1/4” torso foam, 30° quilt with 6 panels of zlite and 15° quilt with xtherm for the Sierra. This isn’t at all necessary, a 20° quilt and an xlite was generally the most popular setup for the whole trail
Fast becoming my favorite on UA-cam. Making sink salad for dinner now.
72 miles in 24? What a beast! It's so rewarding to push yourself
One of my favorite things about thru hiking! Looking to push this even more in the future
I'm really enjoying the pct from sobo perspective. The music is dope too. 🐻
Super inspiring! Thank you for sharing your insights from the trail. Looking forward to episode 4!
I'm going SOBO this year and just found your vlogs. Love the episodes, really beautifully done!

The highest of honors.
Watched the 3 episodes in a row this morning. Really nice edit, I like the tone! Immediate follow. Cheers from France!
Very impressive and informative. Thanks for sharing!
That feeling when you miss the trail so much even burn areas look appealing.
Great footage and like the story. Nice work!
Loving your videos! You’ve got me thinking about the Ramona falls alternate😍

Definitely would love to do this! Could you tell me what temperature ranges youve been looking at?
Going southbound, the coldest night was somewhere around 12°F and the hottest day was probably 100°F.
