1. Stop giving fck to peoples opinion. Too much overthinking and self critics just because you want to be perfect isnt healthy. Just do it, let the J type say everything they wanted to say its their rights. 2. Theres too many people told you to quit drinking, smoking etc. First, build a plan to made yourself better, then work it out with your closest relatives. 3. Dream and prove it. Be your self, dressed up and behave like underdogs do. When they notice your positive changes they will be surprised, thus you succeed becoming better. When someone told you that you're a narcissist or anything, shut up and move on. When you'll be your better self within few years later you'll realize their opinion doesnt really matter with what you achieve. 4. Think through your brain and make decision with your heart, if its aligned you will be surprised. Those two are your strongest most valuable asset. You'll know why.
☆dear parents of infp children, pretty please be sure that they KNOW that they are important.inherently loved&good.worthy.understood. valued.appreciated.and let them know it's okay to be different & stand as an individual.encourage them to be themselves and nurture their creative endeavors.if you do not...you are cursing them to a sad, lonely, dark place.please do not curse them. ♡love, my inner child (ps.writing this comment is one the most un-infp things i've ever done.eeeek.)
One trick some can do is just getting away from the social noise and toxic drama of the world for a while as that does so much to help especially in times like this. Another is avoiding those where everything has to be square and set in stone.
I feel like for too long I have been thinking only about the life I want but never doing anything to reach it. I know most of it will never be a reality so I don't even try. I wish I knew how to get out of my head and just live. Life is continuing and I'm just passively watching but never truly involving myself. I'm so tired of living like this but I don't know how to change. Every once in a while, I tell myself that today will be the day I pursue a life that doesn't make me miserable but I never seem to stay motivated enough. Depression sucks and I feel like my personality type is like a breeding ground for negativity. I can't help but feel that I'm hopeless.
I am going through the same thing right now and dont know where to start and what to do. I just wanted to ask did you find a way or are you still in the search for it?
Thankfully there are people who understand since it's hard to unterstand oneself. Writing down everything sure helps. On the other hand my desk and note apps are a total mess. It's also really frustrating to always look for the right words.
really useful. especially the flow hack#4 and 5. They remind me the importance of knowing what i really want to do and how much potential i have. (by the way, i really like the ✨emoji. i often send it when i want to console somebody)
I realized a long time ago that any creative process was the best way to express my thoughts. Many times I keep these to myself like a diary but the process is very cathartic. Making pictures and writing poetry are the preferred methods now. It helps me sort out my thoughts as well, what is important and what is forgettable or what is fantasy and what is acheivable. I am getting better at making, setting and keeping boundaries. Your advice in this regard is very good.
Eric, if you haven’t already, I would love it if you’d do a video to expand on the last phase, regarding letting go of all you couldn’t do, and working towards creating a legacy for yourself. At age 50, this speaks to me!
Your voice is so soothing. I am listening to your videos just because of how there is so much lightness and love in your voice and it puts me in the same kind of headspace. Thank you for your content, you are amazing!
I'm an INFP, and this advice and information is absolutely spot on. I've been watching your videos for a while now, and just realised I hadn't subscribed. So, new subscriber here. You're extremely wise in your understanding of the human condition, seen through the MBTI lens.
I really appreciate your content on INFPs. I find your videos helpful in self discovery journey. I took notes of the tips. What stood out me was the one about having a place inside me where I am comfortable and accepted. It is so relevant to where I'm at, as I'm working on accepting and understanding myself. Thank you.
Thanks a lot Erik, this is very enlighting. I spent a year living with a roomate before realizing i gave way too much energy in our relation. I felt down as I never felt before, felt empty, sad, and i couldn't find any bit of energy. Energy started comming back when i took the time to think about my needs of space and time alone, and started to respect it, to give those things to me, and make m'y roomate understand what i needed. I just wanted to share that, since i have a lot of traits of the INFP, and since i think it resonates with the last part of your video. You do an amazing job that helps me a lot, i can't thank you enough !!! Edit : Oh, and about your theory of the 4 phases, i recognized myself and it gave me a new point of view on "why is my life going the way it's going". It's really hard for me to look at all the things I created when younger, because i just can't create anymore with that intensity and productivity i used to have. Now maybe i'll accept that it was a phase, and that my creativity now translates to the world in other ways. Anyway, thanks again.
Hi Michelle, good question, just make us aware of our needs, when we talk about something, bring the question back to ourselves: what do you want, what would you enjoy if we did x, what would you prefer. Help us think about and remind us of those things. :)
Which advice did I like the most? As an INFP I like advice#1 the most. The other ones are allright, good thoughts, however advice#1 sounds a bit like what happened to me when I started hanging out with people, I felt like I could be myself. Being able to talk to someone, I feel challanged and ultimately understood and encouraged does it for me.
Thank you Eric for this video. Being an INFP, sometimes it really is hard to know myself because of my scattered thoughts. You explained it so clearly !
Which advise did you like the most? What advise would you give other INFPs? Do you want more videos like this?

Yes 😭
Invisible child here…
thank you! I will be better parents for myself
that was beautiful, thanks for sharing, dear 🙏💜✨
This resonates with me, too. (ENFP.)

This is what I'm currently doing. I've shut the noise for a while so I can centre myself and ease the anxiety.

My favourite advice was making sure your perspectives stay fresh!
Yes, that's a good one! Don't cling to old truths, keep discovering new ones! There's always another way to look at things. :)

Awesome job man :)
Taking notes to always remember this😍thank youuu
Thankyou this really resonates with me! Hope you are doing well 💜
Thank you Erik! You are my absolute favorite! Love you videos! What is the best way to care for a infj when they don't self care?

Erik! Good job on this video 🌟😌🌟 Where can I find the flow code thingy? ✨🍄✨ I like the Flow Hack #7 - I think it would be a perfect topic for a video.
You can find it here on this UA-cam channel :) and on www.erikthor.com!
Perfect
How did you do this 😊
Being an INFP is so hard... I need serious help.
Thank you Eric for this video. Being an INFP, sometimes it really is hard to know myself because of my scattered thoughts. You explained it so clearly !
❤❤❤
@Erik Thor - What happened? No hack #8 or #10. Blank boxes on my screen.
