In a time of shift, what stories do we need to help us navigate the world around us and chart a better future? How did Plato answer? What do Zulu, Nigerian, and Greek ancestors have to tell us? What is the relevance of finding Dragons in the Bible or goannas in the Australian bush?

I am a theologian, I found your channel a few months ago, I watch your presentations over and over again, I am extremely challenged in my thought and approach in biblical interpretation! I have my biases though. I would love to read escaping from Eden, I hope I can find it in the stores here in Nairobi Kenya. My tribe the Kambas have a story about their origin that they were dropped down in a plate (flying object) on the top of an hallowed mountain Nzaui! When we were young, we had allien visitation stories every day, and it was pretty part of us, nothing foreign as far as I can remember. We studied stars every night as we sang songs and told stories of Jinis, I have related with you alot sir. I need to hear more and more sir!

I had an experience just like your walk in the bush when I was 8. Everyday I went to a stream, I was in North Wales on holiday. I would go and spend time by a beautiful waterfall by this stream, then one day something happened animals and birds and fish, seemed to come to me, I watched and they watched me. Somehow something wonderful had happened to me, I was connected to them and they were connected to me, and there was a knowing and communication and feeling of pure joy. That was my spiritual awakening, and through this experience I heard spirit talking to me for the first time, speaking words of love and kindness to me. Tears filled my eyes as I suddenly knew who I was, and who I was meant to be in my life. Thank you for sharing your story, it really resonated with me. xxx

Again I have to say it's very timely that you speak about the dragons and calling out authorities. With all the findings now of our Indigenous children in unmarked graves of Residential Missionary Schools...this story and message you point out is very real. Thank you for this. The triggers and trauma is so huge right now throughout all of Indian Country. I imagine it's very much like our Aboriginal relatives in Australia. Thank you for showing how these stories apply to everyday...

Sir, you are a great story teller! I've been brought up without any religion , but believing in Nature, respecting the Earth and all the living creatures just came to me when I was a child. I became an odd one in my family ( a vegetarian who shooed spiders out instead of killing them and so on...) Never been taught about earthing I discovered years ago that putting my bare feet into a mountain stream, touching trees or a moss covered rock is the best way of calming down, refreshing my mind, getting " the batteries charged". BDW, I love your channel 🖖

As a seasoned Jungian Analyst, and a recovering evangelical, I was quite surprised to experience such a great "Aha" moment when you described the Original Hero's Journey in this talk. It all just falls into place. I have been listening to you for a few weeks now and your wisdom brings me such peace and understanding. I have held Carl Jung and Joseph Campbell in such high regard. I add you to this short list. Thank you.

Mr. Wallis, I could honestly listen to you read the phone book. In fact, when I’m having a hard time falling asleep, I listen to previously watched videos :) Never mind that I just so love the content. Thank you for being on the planet. 🙏🏼❤️

Paul, your walk and meeting those animals makes perfect sense to me, it's things like this that seem to happen when you walk with an open, still mind.

Over a period of time, I have been feeding and photographing Wild Turkeys on our property in Colorado. The closeness that has developed between the majestic, complex birds and I have brought me a joy I have trouble fully understanding, and I become hypnotized by its complexities. Sometimes one or two or four birds would come, other times forty or fifty would arrive and put on a show like I've never seen. The hens arrive in the spring with their little chicks, and we get to know each other. Some seasons, they don't arrive until the children are like adolescents or pre-teens. Every season is different. I am so blessed by their attention.

The context added to the creation story through other myths creates a much more robust account of what more than likely took place. The narrative of man wanting to rule himself aside from the “gods” is all throughout scripture and makes a lot of sense.

Very good! Do pay attention to animals...and plants. They are so much more aware of us than we are aware of them. Taking time to acknowledge them is a good thing... Thanks Paul.
