- Enjoy a close look at XDA motorcycle drag racing’s Pro Extreme class, featuring the world’s quickest turbo charged Suzuki HAYABUSA, Suzuki GS and Kawasaki KZ Drag Bikes. This exciting class, which evolved from Funny Bike, showcases motorcycles that can cover the first 660 feet from a dead stop in less than four seconds! This newly added class is also open to nitrous injected or injected nitro Dragbikes. The class uses a .400 Pro tree and runs off a 16-bike ladder. Newcomer Kevin Clarke has been the man to beat on his DTM/ Timblin Chassis / DME / Maxx ECU Suzuki GS. He is followed closely by the new age turbo Hayabusa’s of Williford Racing’s Rodney Williford and Ehren Litten. In this video we also see Rob Garcia, John Collins, former 1/4 mile record holder Chris Cutsinger, 6.34, Bobby Lovingood and Tony Steele. These guys are nuts and I love it! I miss the old funny bike class. My dad and I used to watch them and the top fuel bikes all the time. Really brings back some good memories of him. Grip it and rip it boys!

The coolest thing about turbobikes is they never run out of nitrous. Fuel, sure, but not nitrous!

If you want to split hairs, whatever. Boost is king with turbos. Added induction via spent exhaust gasses to increase manifold pressure which then increases the exhaust flow of the turbine to increase the compression of the compressor wheel to provide the recip engine with more fuel and air than naturally possible, than yes, you are correct. We use them in many aircraft to attain crazy altitudes, beyond breatheable air. I use mine down low to go fast. 1985 tech.

Funny bike boy that brings back memories. I remember when i was little back in the late 80's i seen my first funny bike. Some guy was testing a brand new one at the old 411 dragway in Seymore TN. It was quite crazy sounding and unreal fast.

It would appear that they don't use the clutch? How is this or are their lever throw that short to engage it?

@@jaimemccord1027 thanks but there not on the lever and kick in the rev limiter and go or am I missing them feathering the clutch lever or is this what you are referring to?
@@jaimemccord1027 Or is it like a stall converter in a car? Hit a rpm and the clutches kick in?
The clutch works off of rpm but they usually use a button to activate the 2-step rev limiter which keeps engine below launch rpm until they let off the button.

And 2 you can modify your bike to have faster acceleration and slower top speed or have higher top speed and slower acceleration

Still can't beat supra
Don't talk shit you stupid child. Supra with 3000 Hp prepared to the maximum did it in more than 5 seconds, while the Hayabusa did it in less than 4. Supra is shit compared to Hayabusa. above is inferior. 250 km of original top speed, very slow, and on top of that it is also slower prepared.
Not to mention that the bike's gear ratio is shorter. There are motorcycles passing 400 km and 1/4 mile/ 400 meters, above it is slow, prepared to the maximum it reaches 387 km
