THANK YOU Paul!! Love the scientific method being put into action with you trying a variety of option$$. And thank your wife too for putting up with our beautiful minds curiosity.
U could write a small book on markers...some have caps that screw on so u don't drop em, some can have the top put on the other end for safe keeping while others can't. Then of course different materials require different ones. I usually go with the clients markers in those cases. Then of course marker accuracy, some are wide and hard to mark indications while those are good for tons of marking huge areas or alot. Then color choice...some places wants qc to use a color and UT a different one to differentiate. And then of course if ur using water or couplant u need to be able to choose the best one for esch of those environments...so yeah choosing a marker can be quite complicated! 😂 Good video!
The struggle is real, the old Nissens were my favorite to bad they are no longer around. Mean Streeks are what I have to use these days
Paul, most part of times, have a proper maker makes the difference!!! NEXT VIDEOS: FLASHLIGHTS , HATS, MASKS, GLOVES....

My vote-> Sharpie
Mean Streak is the GOAT but the Sharpie has been growing on me.
I like using white out pens with UT because it's fairly sharp detail and you can still write on wet metal through all the goop.
Thank you for “bettering” the world of NDE!
I use the pumper brand name they seem to be the best for us out West.
I like using the Markel Paint-Riter.
But I will have to try out the Sharpie paint marker too
Thanks Paul!
Just make sure they are site approved. And don't use them on stainless steel

Should have included those horrible ones you squeeze that have a ball point, I have thrown so many of those over the years!
