US Me agar Average Income 1L dollars hai or Average big house cost 5L dollars hai. To India me Average Income 10L rupees se bhi kum hai or Average house(not Flat) acchi location me 2-3Cr se kum kahin nahi hai. Or agar US jaise 4-5 bedroom lena ho interior work ke sath to 5-6Cr min hai Noida Gzb me. Delhi me 6-10Cr me 5BHk ka Floor milta hai. Or Mumbai me etna bada Ghar 40Cr me bhi nahi aayega. INDIA Is very disorganized housing me.
But agar USA ke major cities mai jayenge toh Mumbai bhi thoda sasta lagne lagega…

In India, you can also get the loan with a duration of 28-30 years. I bought my 1st house with 28 years of duration in Bangalore. And there you have to pay initial amount of 20% in sbi and 15% in HDFC and other banks

Those are amazing facts, but you forgot about the interest rates. In India, we pay interest at 8% or more for Housing Loans and that fluctuates (floating rate) according to the market and other factors. In USA you get Fixed interest loans that too 6.6% to 7.5% depending on the term. So overall financing home in India is expensive than the USA.
True, these days interest rate is around 7% for 30 years. Also, in India loan term is small with high rate so affordability is expensive

Concepts are same with EMI and Credit Cards, not sure on the interest rates though. Difference seems to be the approach and perception about loans, job stability etc.
We do get 10 yrs loan too of course payment is higher.We did that here for our house in New York took in 2014 and we are finishing it year end

Just because you can doesn't mean you should. If you lose your job, you have 60 days to figure out whether to search for another job or sell all this stuff you bought on loan. If buying house on loan, try to put 20% down for 30 year fixed. Anything else, try to buy with cash.

In US, if you are earning X amount then paying 40% tax and X-40% is your take home. But in india you are paying more indirect taxes than direct. Also a big house is 5x your average annual salary in US, but in India the houses in my area are 60x my salary.

On credit cards,in India too - u can pay minimum amount,u can convert the total amount into EMI,u can pay any amount u want to pay which is more than minimum amount but less than the total amount or the total amount.But as interest is applied in case u prefer to take any option other than paying total amount by due date,people mostly pay the total amount.
For home loan,it is up to the customer to choose the loan payment period which have options of 5,10,15 and 20 yrs.But the longer is the payment period,though EMI s lesser but one ends up in paying huge amount as for interest.So again people here prefer to pay as soon as possible.

Do a fact check. In India also home loans are for 30 years. Similarly 5-7 years of car loan duration is also there.
Good Information. But in India generally independent houses or villas would cost more than flats in apartment. Maximum people in cities go for apartments only as they can plan to manage the Housing Loan EMI than monthly rent. Different banks offer different interests. So it all depends on personal choice. India mein population density juda hai jiski wajah se yahan small properties hoti hai , example a flat in Gurgaon cost you around 3Cr , which approx 400K in india. Ab wahan 400k mein individual ghar aa jaata hai jo ki city se 30-50 minutes door hai , ab roads acchi hai to log commute kar lete hain.
Yes million dollar ghar bhi hain unki cost india mein bhi 700-800 K hai but yahan earning us se kam as according to price index

Isse humko loan intrest dene ki jarurat nahi rehti na hi installment pay karne ka tention rehta hai. Baki sabki apni soch hai but mujhe meri wife ne saving karna seekha diya. Guys please fact check before you provide information abt India. We also have loan tenure to 30 35 yrs. Interest calculation is same, just the interest rate will differ. Maybe your brother is smarter to pay off loan earlier to save on interest. Which can be used to make another property. We also have cellphones on no cost emi (zero interest). Similarly we can also convert our purchases on credit cards to emi's after purchase if we decided to do so. The US credit culture which is extremely High as you mentioned, only brought recession in 2008. I enjoy your videos good information abt US and fun videos abt buddy teddy but please avoid comparison where you have incomplete knowledge about India.
