I just started Agar work myself. And the speed in which the spawn bag has colonized is absolutely incredible. I don't think I could go back to just innoculating with mss. It's been 2 weeks since transferring Agar to spawn bag and almost fully colonized.

Rhizo or tomentose, it makes no difference as far as potency all cubes have both. The difference is rhizo grows faster because it is looking for nutrients. Tomentose is happy to stay put because it is finding lots of nutrients. One can become the other if conditions are right. Don't get caught up in the importance of rhizo, it grows faster, that's it. You can prove this yourself in experiments

Used 3 micron micropore tape was all pearly and clean bright white for a while and looks like slowely spreading through agar now looks like the mycellium might be urinating and possibly using energy to grow into agar as its dulled a bit in color and lost its beautiful white fur somewhat? i tipped it to try and drain to no avail so a tiny bit of puddling on agar happened but that seemed to condensate back to the ceiling of jar by next day idk if its cause i used cheap agar maybe why its slow to spread out been like a month lol in constant light seems to be alive slowely spreading though no green at all or grey mold hair the drops seem to stay on ceiling of petri dish so idk lol its surely not a thick sample like yours i might have to try to go to another petri with a sample of what little mycelium i got from it i guess
