Ok wow a lot to unpack here for me. First off it’s hard to believe that 2 entire albums featuring Randy Rhoads on guitar have never been officially released outside Japan. Aecond, this is the first time I’ve heard any of it, and if this song is any indication, then screw the critics who largely panned both albums. I found it better than expected, especially since I was expecting it to suck after reading how the reviews were overwhelmingly negative (ahhh... I should know better by now than to listen to just about anything a critic says). Thirdly, I was really surprised how much of the signature Quiet Riot sound was there as far back as 1978-79. The driving straight-ahead rhythm, the head banging breaks, the testosterone-inflected power-choruses, the tawdry tongue-in-cheek overtly sexual lyrics with Kevin DuBrows one of a kind voice, and of course, killer solos, even more so with Randy Rhoads AND Carlos Cavazo..:that’s a hell of a 1-2 punch. And they already had the look as well. I owe it to myself as a fan of Randy Rhoads if nothing else to pick these up somehow. So thanks for posting! And just to digress a bit...RIP Randy Rhoads. You were one of a kind. And I don’t care what the official report says. I believe Don Airey, who is a very respected (and talented) person. And I also find credible the reports of Aycock’s alcoholism and suicidal mindset, pointing to this being no “accident” and he being a criminal, and you a hero for saving Ozzy’s life!
Kevin was one of the best singers of hair metal, it's a shame he's so obscured these days by other great singers of the time like Rob Halford and Bruce Dickinson, b/c he's every bit as good just in a different way.
I think it's safe to say Randy Rhodes was the BEST guitar player of all time !!! But i often wonder if Zakk Wylde is trying to take after Randy to see if he can TRY to get as good ???
Nah man, Randy, Jake, and Zakk are different guitarists with different styles who brought different styles to Ozzys music. Randy as we all know is God, Jake is more of an 80s shredder, and Zakk has this groovy 70s southern rock influence and brought a much heavier guitar style to the band. Most probably Zakk was influenced by Randy, as was many of the guitar greats of the 80s
What a jammin' tune! Dubrow should've put this one out before he punched his own ticket. I'll never understand why he didn't think this earlier stuff was worth a darn. Especially after how respected and revered Randy had become. This here puts any other QR stuff to shame!
Wow This is good stuff. Btter version of Quiet Riot - for sure. Better guitar tone - by a mile. Better playing. Not so tight at the very beginning... but boy did this come on strong. Great playing.

And completely manipulated by Sharon.
Cláudio Cavalcante on the drums Fantastic
I'm speechless 🤘🤘🎸🤯
I saw them open for angel at long beach arena in the late 70s
All the people who say that Kevin wouldn't let Randy play have obviously never heard this song.
Randy 😭😭😭
Best Solo ever❤
Thank YOU Faze Linear for uploading this CRUSHING song!
one of the best guitar solos.
Cripes- My Buddy Coop (RIP) and Myself may be in the crowd- we'd go see them and Eulogy almost every time they were at the Starwood
Amazing video.🙏💕
Someone had idea where to find the first video of Randy?
Randy R - THE NUMBER ONE ROCK GUITARIST OF A A A A A L L L L L L L L ........TIME
Makes me miss Randy so much more 😪
Love this! 🤘
Like SWEET and Andy Scott+Vhalen.
Quiet thanks the king of Glam rock
I'm deaf and this kid makes me hear :)
Gotta start somewhere!
Gone far too soon randy was great 🤘
Damn night and day with Ozzy
Kevin was one of the best singers of hair metal, it's a shame he's so obscured these days by other great singers of the time like Rob Halford and Bruce Dickinson, b/c he's every bit as good just in a different way.
He's deceased
@@Duck_Dodgers I know, when I used present tense I was referring to his legacy
Very cool
What? Where do you get those wonderful videos?! RANDY IS GOD!
I think it's safe to say Randy Rhodes was the BEST guitar player of all time !!!
But i often wonder if Zakk Wylde is trying to take after Randy to see if he can TRY to get as good ???
Bruh Zakk brought his own sound to Ozzy. Tbh zakk looked up and respected Randys style
Zakk IDOLIZES RANDY! FACT!
Zack is a true professional an plays the randy tunes correctly he was a excellent guitar player for ozzy
What a jammin' tune! Dubrow should've put this one out before he punched his own ticket. I'll never understand why he didn't think this earlier stuff was worth a darn. Especially after how respected and revered Randy had become. This here puts any other QR stuff to shame!
Randy !!!!!
Yep that was a GreT Night 🤘
🎸☉🎸
What a Riot ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
How was this band never signed?! 😭
The absolute best there ever was. in my opinion
How much does Zak Wilde look like randy in the early Randy footage. It’s crazy.
They should release a best songs from Quite Riots studio/live Songs; What an Era?
They have one. For some years now. I have a copy. It's called Quiet Riot - The Randy Years. Now I want to look for mine. Check it out
@@tonyvillalba1833 Some THREE decades you mean.
Kevin Dubrow was a hoot! Bet he was fun to party with!
I hear some influence of The Sweet
Why it isn't on spotify
Really there isn't much video footage from his time with Ozzy.
Thinking the same thing. More footage of Randy in this video than his entire career with Ozzy.
Wow This is good stuff. Btter version of Quiet Riot - for sure. Better guitar tone - by a mile. Better playing. Not so tight at the very beginning... but boy did this come on strong. Great playing.
