I was born in 1971 and there will never be a guitar player who had a bigger impact on me than Randy Rhoads. Ever. Not Hendrix, not Page, not Van Halen, not Clapton, etc. He was one of a kind. Rip, Randy.
***** Nope. Still not the same, and wouldn't even exist without Randy. Guitar and music would never be the same in metal and rock in today's music without Randy. I agree that Malmsteen is on a whole new level in guitar... But it's a different level than Randy. Randy was a rhythm + lead guitarist. It's surprisingly rare to find guitarists who do both of those this well.
***** Disagreed... A lot. I mean, this is not the best song from Randy. He had a lot better solos and songs. I think Randy might stay at my number one always.
***** I totally agree with you, there is no other guitarrist like Randy, I respect a lot his carreer and all the amazing songs he do, no just with Ozzy, all those amazing solos and songs with QR, Breaking Up is a Headache, Teenage Anthem, Killer Girls, all, i would love see him right now all the amazing music he could do, but that tragedy on 1982 finish that amazing talent, he always live in my heart.
Count me in. It’s not (only) the technique. He was a genius full of music. At that young age then is incredible. He gives me shivers since I was 13yo, now I’m 40.
I put an 8x10 framed photo of Randy (cut from a magazine) on my wall when I was 14. I was super young and REALLY into metal/hard rock and Randy was IT for me as far as guitar players went. I grew up around all kinds of music but he made me sit up and LISTEN. He died shortly after I was first turned on to him, just old enough to really appreciate his talent. In the photo he's sitting, just holding a black Gibson and looking into the camera. Everywhere I lived, I would hang it up somewhere, for 35 years. Even when I lost many of of my belongings, or grew tired of them, gave them away, over three and a half decades of traversing the continent I somehow managed to hold onto it without trying, really. I lost it in 2020 to the Alameda wildfire(s). I guess it can be replaced, but...not really. Just like the man can't. One of a kind.
Kevin Dubrow and the producers on this album really cleaned this song up for this album. The original is cool but this version is tight. Had they had this version in the 70s, things might have played out differently.
Of course came her for Randy, but when I heard Kevin's editing and new vocals.. HOLY SHIT. Dubrow is really a God, wow. Banali - Dubrow - Rhoads, some amazing deceased musicians here. Much love for Cavazos, Sarzo and Wright too
Randy Rhoads был и запомнился как один из самых волшебных гитаристов. Его соло как казались мне непостижимыми с детства - так и кажутся до сих пор. RIP
I Was born in 1994 but my taste in music has and always will be Hard Rock. it confuses me how something this amazing is sitting at 102,613 views but the amount of songs that sound as if someone is having a fit on a keyboard get millions more. i recon people don't appreciate talent anymore. love the solo at 2:24
Skid Mark Bob The only reason talent seems worthless is because people have let that attitude to exist. "Things are like this. I can't change them :(((((((( Let me just listen my favourite band free online without supporting them at all" The only reason music seems to go down is because we let it go down.
I wasn’t born when this came out, I was born in 2001. But for some reason this song always makes me nostalgic feeling. This song for years has stuck with me, it’s perfection. Something about it (probably Randy’s playing) really hits my soul. Today I finally learned it all on my guitar, this is now my go to.
That solo. It feels like it's alive. I think randy is my new favorite guitarist. Can't get enough of his work. Mr Crowley. I don't know. Little dolls diary of a madman flying high again of course crazy train hell even say goodbye to romance. Not a single song sounds familiar. Truly magical
I have to agree with misfit. Randy Rhoads was a God on the guitar. The Rock N Roll community has never lost a talent like that of Randy. He had only began to show all of us exactly what speed and finesse was in store, only to be taken away from us all to early. Rest in peace R.R. you are missed.
Not going to lie, this is a great song. Especially Randy's solo stands out to me, but Kevin DuBrow's vocals too - infact I much prefer him over Ozzy's voice here, almost a "shame" most of Randy's best work came w/Ozzy.
I’ve always loved this version of the song, it blows the original away, this brought tears to my faces because how good Randy Rhoads was on this, there will never be another player like Randy Rhoads and nobody can replace Kevin on vocals, R.I.P to both and R.I.P to Frank
Nice to hear Randy prior to his break through with Ozzy. I've always thought he was one of the best if not the best. Van Halen had a run for his money with Randy around. Something about Randy was so polished and smooth.
Electric guitar playing doesn't get better than this. It might get faster, more complex, technical, you name it. But never better than how Randy Rhoads played.
This song has a close place in my heart in the same way We'll Meet Again by Pantera does. It kind of proves that these guitarists could be amazing no matter what kind of music they played.
This is my first time hearing Randy with Quiet Riot. It's easier to imagine now how Bark at the Moon or Ultimate Sin would have sounded since they were more glam than Blizzard and Diary.
No worries. Dude died couple years back. Its still tragic. HUGE loss! The dude lived and BREATHED what he did for a living. He woke up in the morning the same as before they had a contract, albeit with addictions, and acted appreciative just to be noticed by fans. Kinda like "oh yeah, I am a star huh?" Others would be like "you're not THAT big dude" and he'd be like "hey, fuck you I made it! What's your problem?" He was the Jay and Silent Bob to haters' Dante and Randall. Larger than life!
Randy's solo in this song is the of his slickest solos that a lot of people don't know of.
RT RT RT
I was born in 1971 and there will never be a guitar player who had a bigger impact on me than Randy Rhoads. Ever. Not Hendrix, not Page, not Van Halen, not Clapton, etc. He was one of a kind. Rip, Randy.
Then malmsteen and becker came to this world

buckethead masters this ;)*****

Randy's solo can make me almost cry.
😭
Count me in. It’s not (only) the technique. He was a genius full of music. At that young age then is incredible. He gives me shivers since I was 13yo, now I’m 40.
Savage solo man
Simply the best ever hands down. So sad that he was taken from us so early. Could you imagine the music he would have made? It is heartbreaking
That’s what Dee does to me
Randy Rhoads... this fucking amazing and barely in his 20's!? Incredible!
There's no one like Randy Rhoads. He was so fucking amazing.
He was pure genius !!
2:24 - 2:49 These seconds are a pure magic, wonderfully!!!!!!!
Randy Rhoads God Bless you!!!
R.I.P Randy !!
We will never forget you 🎸
Yea
I put an 8x10 framed photo of Randy (cut from a magazine) on my wall when I was 14. I was super young and REALLY into metal/hard rock and Randy was IT for me as far as guitar players went. This is actually a bit heartbreaking... 😢 Nice story though ❤👍
epic solo of the greatest guitarist of all time...
i love you Randy 🎵👊🎸
Randys solos are pure magic, even the short ones, never heard anyone like him
Best ever rip Randy Rhoads 🖤🤍
R.I.P. Randy Rhoads. You inspired me to play and millions of others
Epic entry in the solos 02:24, FUCKING SOLO
what a solo from the epic Randy Rhoads and Kevin DuBrow's voice was the best combination.
One of them
yes man, Randy and DuBrow are best, sounds of this guitar and vocal are my best friends
That freakin solo is so badass.....
totally agree
One of my favorite Randy solos. Not as flashy as his Ozzy material, but so tasteful and melodic. Makes me cry every time.
@ Indeed ; That solo is nothing less than transcendental ❤️
You can hear part of the solo for Mr Crowley in this song
@
Reminds me of Mr. Crowley more than anything. Super melodic and tasteful for sure!
How they didn't manage to secure a deal in the U.S. with this lineup is crazy... The tunes are solid rockers!!!
Kevin Dubrow and the producers on this album really cleaned this song up for this album. The original is cool but this version is tight. Had they had this version in the 70s, things might have played out differently.

this might be the most beautiful solo I've heard, so "simple" and pure..
30 fucking years. Miss you Randy, you inspired me to pick up the guitar.
That fucking solo
Best Quiet Riot song with Randy Rhoads ;)
Everytime I need goosebumps I use that solo. Who needs goosebumps? Dunno but I need the solo!
Randy Rhoads был и запомнился как один из самых волшебных гитаристов. Его соло как казались мне непостижимыми с детства - так и кажутся до сих пор.
RIP
R.I.P. Randy and Kevin!!!😔🎸🤘🏻
I remember seeing a Quiet Riot doc on Showtime years ago n they never mentioned Randy once. If it weren’t for him there’d be no Quiet Riot.
MONSTER guitar playing and from the whole band. The whole song is tops. Kevin was a powerhouse vocalist too. This fkn rocks!
R.I.P. Randy Rhoads, the god of the six strings!
GOSH,, Every song on this Album,, Kick's ASS,, Thanx Randy,- Thanx Kevin !!!
Kevin did a great job updating these songs. It's great to hear Randy playing. I wish there was more.
Hearing this song makes me smile...
You are the best Randy !!!
Randy was one of the greats. Imagine how much further QR would have gone with Randy. RIP RR you are one of my guitar gods and greatly missed.
You gotta love the the "Trouble" shout right a the end of the solo!
My band and I love covering this
I Was born in 1994 but my taste in music has and always will be Hard Rock. it confuses me how something this amazing is sitting at 102,613 views but the amount of songs that sound as if someone is having a fit on a keyboard get millions more. i recon people don't appreciate talent anymore. love the solo at 2:24
Talent is worthless nowdays..its only sexual appeal that counts.. Sadly :(
Skid Mark Bob The only reason talent seems worthless is because people have let that attitude to exist. "Things are like this. I can't change them :(((((((( Let me just listen my favourite band free online without supporting them at all" The only reason music seems to go down is because we let it go down.
+Callum McGhee So you're basically complaining that a video on UA-cam does not have as many views as you want it to.
Nope just saying this should have more views and pop music should have less
Callum McGhee Why does this deserve to have more views and pop music have less? Whether the song had 1 view or 1 million views you can still enjoy it.
What a fucking great album ive showed it on car rides to my friends who never heard Randy's stuff with QR and they've said the same
For some reason this reminds me of the Brownsville Station song "I get so excited" (1974)...
Epic solo that gives goosebumps everytime I listen to this masterpiece
I just love randy, grew up loving and appreciating him. mum tought all her kids to play the guitar, finally got my own guitar and named her randy.
used to listen to this song 15 times a day
Shit I'm doing it right now.
Same
RIP quiet riot and RIP randy rhoads 🤘🏿✊🏻
Yeah . I saw Quiet Riot in San Ramon CA. 1994 and they played this Song.
2:24 ❤ and, 😔.
Fucking yeah that beautiful BEAUTIFUL solo.
RIP to both of those awesome dudes.
40 years after Randy's death he still makes a huge impact on me the most than other guitarists in my list as a musician
RANDY el mejor guitarrista para mi de todos los tiempos .RANDY forever!!..un solo espectacular para la época en la que se hizo.
That solo. It feels like it's alive. I think randy is my new favorite guitarist. Can't get enough of his work. Mr Crowley. I don't know. Little dolls diary of a madman flying high again of course crazy train hell even say goodbye to romance. Not a single song sounds familiar. Truly magical
This is my most favourite song when Randy was in Quiet Riot. Thanks for the upload.
Randy=the GOD!
SIN DUDA ES UN ANGEL CON GUITARRA RANDY RHOADS¡¡¡¡
Great piece of art this song!
I'm gonna learn this solo, it kicks so much ass.
Love it❤
3:31. Bellísimo colchón que hace Randy con su guitarra hasta el final del tema.
What a great guitar player randy rhoads was the best of all time nobody can match his style of playing greatest of all time
One of the best musics humans had created, Randy Rhoads guitar sounds very good, perfect!
That motherfacking solo!!!! Randy is so refined as guitarist that it seems that he plays VIOLIN! there is a lot of classical style in his composition.
Now that's the great randy Rhodes! Baby ❤️ 🎵 yeah !
It's believed he was getting bored of rock music and wanted to go into writing orchestral and classic music.
Wonderful...awesome!!
Love this song, and awesome solo! ❤️ RIP RR
The solo is so outstanding words cannot describe it is pure magic 🪄 one of the best solos in history
This sounds really good! The production sounds really good. Randy's tone is fantastic. The playing is angelic.
Fucking love Randy man this is so sick I can't believe it wasn't a big hit
Not going to lie, this is a great song. Especially Randy's solo stands out to me, but Kevin DuBrow's vocals too - infact I much prefer him over Ozzy's voice here, almost a "shame" most of Randy's best work came w/Ozzy.
El comienzo de este tema....todo el tema en si, es digno de usarse como comienzo de una película. Randy Magestuoso!!!.
The last place that Randy played was the Knoxville Tennessee coliseum and I live 5 miles from there thinking about him every time I drive by ✌️
oh god! easily, i've listened this song like thousand times
I got goosebumps in randy's solo in this song.
unbelievable solo!
Ya casi 40 años sin Randy😭😭😭😭
Randy es eterno hermano!
randy and kevin rip
My favorite QR song!!!
I’ve always loved this version of the song, it blows the original away, this brought tears to my faces because how good Randy Rhoads was on this, there will never be another player like Randy Rhoads and nobody can replace Kevin on vocals, R.I.P to both and R.I.P to Frank
Que pedazo de solo que se manda Randy :o
Just Beautifull song! Nowadays you just can't compare!
We will always love you Randy!
you just can not have a rude comet about randy so ahead of his time wow master rhoades.
RHOADS
Great solo amazing song
Solo is just too good❤
Randy es mi religion
Nice to hear Randy prior to his break through with Ozzy. I've always thought he was one of the best if not the best. Van Halen had a run for his money with Randy around. Something about Randy was so polished and smooth.
Randy Roads the Best ...u left your legacy RIP .
to be honest this is my favourite of randy's solos
Electric guitar playing doesn't get better than this. It might get faster, more complex, technical, you name it. But never better than how Randy Rhoads played.
His melodies are catchier than anything else ive heard. But im biased
You know I own this album its really good. Plus I like this song and One in a Million .
An amazing Hard Rock..... great song
This song has a close place in my heart in the same way We'll Meet Again by Pantera does. It kind of proves that these guitarists could be amazing no matter what kind of music they played.
great track.....thanks for sharing!
This is my first time hearing Randy with Quiet Riot. It's easier to imagine now how Bark at the Moon or Ultimate Sin would have sounded since they were more glam than Blizzard and Diary.
Awesome right?

hard to imagine that these guys had such trouble getting signed in their early days, with randy they sound amazing
No worries. Dude died couple years back. Its still tragic. HUGE loss! The dude lived and BREATHED what he did for a living.
